This home was by far the nicest VRBO (or Airb&b) I have stayed in. Beautifully designed and decorated, the home is immaculately clean— even the pillow shams had been washed and the chandelier dusted. The linens are high-count and comfortable. Additionally, the home had everything one could need. I have read reviews on VRBO that made the same claim— for this one, it’s true. The kitchen appliances are all high-end. There’s a wine refrigerator with complimentary bottles provided, an electric tea kettle with a wide selection of tea, two coffee makers with plenty of coffee provided, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in each bathroom, etc. The home is in a quiet location, yet is still an easy walk to downtown. Being comfortable and well-rested, our group — a reunion of women Army veterans—was able to enjoy a wonderful time together in Napa. Elizabeth is a wonderful host who provides a wealth of information.

The home was perfect for our girls trip to Napa for three nights. The location is great - just a short walk to town. This is not one of those cheap rentals with cheap decor, furniture and kitchenware - everything was very nice and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

The Bank House in Napa was the perfect place to celebrate our respective 50th birthdays with childhood friends! From the initial booking to check-out, our host Elizabeth was amazing every step of the way. She was attentively responsive to all of my questions. Her home was beautiful, immaculate, and meticulously well-appointed. She really had the traveler’s needs in mind. Prior to arrival, she sent wonderful recommendations for restaurants, vineyards, and happenings in downtown Napa. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect and convenient location to walk into town or drive to visit vineyards. We are looking forward to our return and would absolutely stay here again. Elizabeth was truly the best host and would highly recommended choosing the Banks House for a Napa visit!

The house is amazing. Super comfortable for our 3 couples with plenty of room for everyone. Very well-appointed and Elizabeth was very accommodating and provided us with lots of info about Napa before we arrived. Just go ahead and book it!

The Banks House is perfect in so many ways. As our group of college girlfriends said, "The house is so beautifully designed, furnished and appointed!" The kitchen had everything that we needed. Our favorite spot in the house was the butler's pantry. We loved the collection of stemware, cups and mugs and the coffee/tea station had everything we needed. Such a cute space. Everyone thought the beds were so comfortable. We appreciated that all the beds are king-sized. Love the extra thick bath towels. Everything felt so luxurious. On top of that, the location is perfect for strolling downtown to enjoy the many restaurants and shops as well as hopping into the car to go wine-tasting in the valley. If we didn't have so many things to do in the Napa area we would have been perfectly happy to just relax in the house all day/night. Thank you, Elizabeth for everything including sharing some of the goings-on in town! We will definitely be back again!

Great property to stay! Nicely updated historic home that had plenty of room for the 3 couples in our party. Elizabeth was easy to work with and responded quickly to email and text.

My husband and I rented this house to celebrate some milestone birthdays with friends and we could not have been happier. Three couples and we all had our own room with the most comfortable KING SIZED beds and our own bathroom. It was incredibly well-stocked, more than any house we’ve rented. So many details! 1. Beautiful large kitchen perfect for hanging out while cooking dinner, which we did a couple nights. Definitely a perfect house for entertaining. Nothing was lacking! 2. Perfect location in the historic district with a short walk to center of Napa. 3. Beautiful and private courtyard in the back with a bocci ball court. So fun and we played most nights after dinner. 4. One of the best parts was the host checking in on us and making fantastic recommendations for things for us to do, many of which we did! And so much more. We are already planning to rent this house next time we come to Napa!

We loved this property. It was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The only slight downside is that the road it sits on is the main road going into Napa so it was a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper. That being said, the short walk into town was perfect. We did make our reservations at several wineries in advance which I recommend doing. We enjoyed the Sky and Vine rooftop, and had fun playing trivia and ate yummy sandwiches at The Ox & Fox. Elizabeth gave some very helpful suggestions for Napa and wineries. We also enjoyed the town of Callistoga after a wonderful wine and food pairing at Davis Estates. We would absolutely stay here again. The Bocce ball and complimentary wine left by Elizabeth was a wonderful way to finish up our day as well.

Everything was great except for street noise and one bedroom had to use a very small bathroom located down the hall. 1 good bedroom 1 great bedroom 1 bad bedroom.

This house is exactly as advertised. As with any real estate, location, location, location! House is pristine with comfortable furniture and beds and every detail has been considered for guests to have an enjoyable stay. Elizabeth is so approachable and generous with her suggestions and help! Highly recommend!

The Banks House was beautiful inside and out. Backyard was a great spot to play bocce and drink some wine. Decor was fantastic and great tools in the kitchen. Close enough to walk to everything in downtown Napa. Owner’s communication was great!

Had a girlfriend trip and we stayed in this lovely home. The house is beautiful and exactly as it appears in pictures. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything one needs. The host was kind and had several suggestions of things to do in the area. We look forward to returning.

Our family of six adult really enjoyed our stay. Unlike most rentals, everything in this home was high end and felt like a home. In addition to being well designed, the owner provided many little details to make your stay was seamless. The coffee/wine bar area in the butler pantry was very well received. My son got in late and missed dinner with the family, so he decided to cook dinner. As a cook myself, I was very impressed with the the cook's kitchen. We loved the Bocce Ball court, which we later found out is the sport in Napa. We have been traveling for almost two weeks, so the two sets of washer and dryer came in handy, so we could get caught up on laundry before ending our trip in the Redwoods. I walked to Oxbo everyday to get in my steps. Downtown is just a few blocks away.Communication was very fast and helpful. We parked our Expedition rental in the driveway and our son parked in the spot in front of the house. We used a driver for our big day with our private tastings at Rombauer, to go lunch from Sunshine, Shaffer then dinner at Bouchon for our daughters bday! Having three King rooms and three bathrooms made everyone feel like they had a great room and not stuck in a kid bunk room. Perfect stay while in Napa!

This is a beautiful home. It is exactly as pictured with high end finishes/touches all throughout the house. It is well stocked with an array of coffee/coffee cups/glasses/pots/ pans/plates/utensils /spices. We enjoyed cooking and gathering inside, and having wine and bocce ball outside. The yard particularly lovely with blooming roses and various trees/bushes etc. The house is located within walking distance of downtown - restaurants/shops/Oxbow Mkt. It was really just perfect for anything we needed. Communicating with Elizabeth was easy. She was very responsive and all info is presented nicely in a book as well as in other spots. The house made our vacation even better. Thank you.

This house is very close to downtown Napa within walking distance of many delicious restaurants, tasting rooms, shopping and activities. Elizabeth was very communicative and was easy to coordinate with. The house itself was beautifully maintained and very clean. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

A lovely Napa oasis - more beautiful than photos can do justice. The Banks House is wonderful modern renovation of an historic property. We had everything we could possibly need for a girls weekend with six women. The property is close enough to downtown to walk to All the Things...but peaceful and cozy with an absolutely adorable backyard such that you will never want to leave.
