The home is bright and airy. The owners generously allowed us to check in early, which we greatly appreciated, as we had two kitties traveling with us. The home is a little older-looking than we had expected but was very comfortable. We don't like to leave our cats at home during fire season and were very pleased the owners let us bring them with us!! There were plenty of dishes and the beds were very comfortable!

We had a great stay at Hilary and Don’s house! The house is in a fantastic location, comfortable and clean. It was a perfect place for my family to stay while we visited Bolinas. We will definitely be back.

This was a very cozy, bright home. It was very clean and the bedrooms were quite spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck. It’s in a very peaceful and quiet area and we especially enjoyed peering at the night stars.

Sweet little house with all the things you need to be comfy. Nice kitchen and equipment, you can really cook here or take advantage of local restaurants and markets, there is a dishwasher and plenty of easy to use and stack dishes so you can go 2-4 days and run a load. The beds are super comfy and there are extra comforters and blankets and plenty of bath and dish towels. Nice private backyard, tables and chairs scattered around so you can catch the sun enjoy happy hour and let your pup (and you) have some freedom in the securely fenced space. The two gas heaters can get thing warmed up nicely in a reasonable amount of time. Great access to the outdoors and lovely walks. This area is rustic, not shiny and flashy but so quiet at night. The owners were lovely to communicate with. We will be back.

We love Don and Hilary’s place! We stayed for a week with our 2 dogs. The fenced yard and gardens are lovely, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and the space is light and bright. Don and Hilary are easy to communicate with. We will be back!

Had a great stay, perfect location and great setting. Fog and sun, loved it. Recommend Coast Cafe downtown Bolinas. Owners are great, we accidentally left something there, they notified us immediately and we were able to retrieve it easily. Hope to return!

This is a charming property in a unique neighborhood on a dirt road. Very well-appointed. We loved the location, even though it was not near a beach, because we could visit both Point Reyes and Stinson Beach easily. The yard is very pleasant, and we appreciated the butterflies, hummingbirds and blue grouse that visited.

We look forward to returning to Bolinas and this house. Truly therapy for the soul, spirit . This is trite but true in this case!

This property is great for a couple or a small group. It was very clean and well stocked. The bed and bedding were particularly comfortable. It's located on the Mesa, a very special neighborhood in Bolinas. I recommend it to anyone who loves Bolinas and appreciates the special charm of la Mesa

Fully fenced and lovely backyard in funky Bolinas. Spare but well-appointed and comfortable cottage. Unpaved streets. Very quiet! Short drive to major nature attractions. Owners were easy to communicate with. We will stay here again!

Peaceful & quiet property. The home has everything you’d need. Enjoyed walking to town, going to the beach & just sitting out in the yard with the dog. Very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend.

What a cute place! Hilary was SO welcoming and warm in her communications and helped accommodate us earlier than check-in time. We celebrated my mom's birthday there and the house was the cutest. The backyard was so lovely and everything was fresh and clean. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time and this property over New Year’s Eve. The back yard was perfect for our dog, and we had easy access to town and the beach. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The property is located on the quiet Bolinas Mesa. The stars are bright and the morning light in the house is amazing. The house is clean and has everything necessary for a quiet getaway. The property owners are easy to get into contact with especially when you lock yourself out! Great locale within a 10-15 walk to the bluffs or 30 mins to Bolinas or Agate Beaches.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay here. The house is clean and very well equipped with a great kitchen and comfy beds. We enjoyed having a conveniently located home base near amazing trailheads, tidepools, and beaches.

The house and gardens here are so lovely! It was very clean and the main living space has beautiful vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light!! It’s super quiet and restful in that way. We were happy to have our eye masks as the morning light is bright ☀️

We quite enjoyed staying here. The house is comfortable and very well outfitted (all the kitchen items you could want, even a rolling pin). And in a great location on top of the mesa in Bolinas. Neighborhood is quirky and quiet: the "roads" are more like dirt alleys. There's quite a range of architectural styles in the neighborhood: from fancy beach front houses to very hand-built homes. The bluffs overlooking the ocean are about a half mile walk away along dirt roads. And great beaches just a short short drive away. It's rustic -- septic system, propane heat, etc. But, that also means it's very quiet. Bolinas is far from any other towns so bring what you need rather than thinking you'll pop out for supplies. Beaches are dog friendly here and there's lots of paths to walk on right from the house We'll be back!

My husband and I along with our dog so enjoyed our stay. This home is very clean, comfortable and filled with light. The kitchen is well equipped with working appliances, gadgets, pots/pans etc which made cooking all of our meals easy. The bed was so cozy and comfortable and the white fluffy towels are our favorites. Sitting outside in the yard enjoying our morning coffee was lovely and our dog was safe in the enclosed yard which he loved. The neighborhood street was quiet. We appreciated our walks to the town of Bolinas and Agate Beach. The owner responded very quickly to a question we had and he was so friendly and kind. Bolinas is experiencing a severe water shortage. For us doing our part to be conscientious about water use was a no brainer-doing our part for this wonderful community.

This house is pretty much perfect for Bolinas, and it is very affordable. We will definitely be back. The rooms are comfortable and fairly large. The backyard is flat and completely fenced. The main heater wasn't working while we were there but the gas fireplace and the space heaters were perfect. There is a small deck in the front that gets afternoon sun in the winter. The only addition could be a hot tub-- but given the severe water restrictions on the mesa, I can see why an owner would not want to have a hot tub at a rental house. Be sure to take a walk down Dogwood to see the ocean view, it's about 10 minutes!
