We had an amazing vacation! The property is a haven for families with small children and pets. The thoughtful inclusion of toys and equipment for kids and a pet-friendly environment made our stay truly enjoyable. The home itself is spacious, beautifully organized, well-maintained, and is in a lovely neighborhood. It is close to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, winter activities, and hiking trails. A perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway! We would definitely stay again!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. Just a wonderful property. Plenty to do for the kiddies. Hiking nearby. And a wagon we took to the beach to haul our stuff. Shar is great to work with. Planning to come back again.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cabin. While it was great for an all adult family, it would be even better for a family with young kids to enjoy the backyard toys and fun downstairs room. We especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and primary bedroom suite, and the abundance of items the home is stocked with (lots of linens/towels, toys, kitchen pots and pans, etc.). Beautiful view of the woods from the back deck, rather than looking at just another cabin. Love the grass and back patio, and the ability to have several cars parked in the driveway and our boat on the street. Hosts were easy to reach and great to work with. Recommended!

This cabin is great for multiple families. Spacious kitchen, dinning area, and living room to hang out in. Very clean and nicely upgraded. Hot tubs was nice and hot. Cute play structure.

It's taken almost a year to process this trip! We booked this house for a snowy Christmas getaway and we certainly got that! Getting to and leaving this property we're tough but the house was amazing! We were able to enjoy the hot tub, big open gathering spaces, a gorgeous kitchen and TONS OF SNOW! The heated driveway was also a blessing. Oh and all the extra gear available for use was very helpful! Thanks for everything. We had a great time enjoying your lovely house!

Tahoe Sol was the perfect, most family friendly rental we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and extremely well equipped. Toys, games, extra towels and pillows in every room. We had everything we needed, and then some. The owner had everything clearly labeled and obviously prides themselves on the condition of the home. They even had air purifiers in every room to help with smoke drift from a current wildfire. The layout to the house is perfect for family time both together, and separate. Kids get to rowdy for grandpa, send them downstairs or out to the gorgeous yard. Only a mile to the main beach and grocery store, this was the perfect locale. Shar was fantastic and quick to respond to any questions we had. 10/10 we will be back!

We had an amazing time at Tahoe Sol! Shar was amazing to work with, prompt with responses and pleasant exchanges. House was perfect for our group, plenty of space to spread out. Beds were comfy, kitchen was clean and very organized. We enjoyed the amenities outside and the location is minutes from the lake and grocery store. We can't wait to visit again!

Very, very nice! We were a large family, from infant to adult, and the layout of the cabin was perfect. The little ones could roam about the main floor (using the baby gate) with ease. The older kids liked hiking right from the back yard and got a great picture of the Lake. The swing was popular. Plenty of room in the back yard. Kitchen very well stocked. Comfy beds. Safeway just a few minuts away. We hope to be back!

We had a great time. The home is in a beautiful secluded wooded area with no traffic and yet close to beach and stores.my only suggestion would be to update the cooking pans as they are old and all the food sticks to them. We had a fabulous time and would stay here again and I would recommend this home to everyone!

Great location. Home equipped with everything you might need from kitchen to beach. Home is beautiful with great yard for kids. Main floor is air conditioned, floor fans in all rooms. Very comfortable even in 90 degree weather. We all enjoyed our stay.

This house worked out perfectly for our large family vacation. Lots of room and we used it all. The play ground was a big hit with the littles. The out door patio was a popular hangout. The kitchen and dining room were large. I was pleasantly surprised how well the house was stocked with everything you would need from laundry soap to bandaids. Great location near kings beach. Although we enjoyed Sandharbor just a short drive (10 min). Everyone like the walking trails in the neighborhood. Family friendly, nicely updated home. Would rent again!

Took our family to Tahoe for a nice week. Found everything we could possibly need for our 2 year old and 9 month old in the house. Huge dining table was perfect. The steep staircase to get to the kitchen was the only surprise. Tough on the Grandparents to come and go with the stairs.

Plenty of room for a large family gathering. We enjoyed our stay.

What an amazing place. The house had plenty of space for our large group and three dogs. We had everything we needed and more. The steam shower in the master bedroom was amazing, beds were comfortable, and the whole house was impeccably clean. The house is located a few steps away from hiking and biking trails, which was ideal for exercising the dogs and to enjoy the views of the lake. Northstar Ski Resort and Diamond Peak ski resort are about 15 minutes away. We cannot wait to come back next spring.

We had a wonderful time- Shar gave us the BEST recommendations for walking / hiking with our dog! A very easy location to get in and. Out of town- the fireplace is super cozy and the jacuzzi outside was great for a super cold evening. HIGHLY Recommend!!

This is my second time staying in this vrbo and it was again a really great experience. Super clean. All the kitchen appliances you need. Great location close to North Star and the beach. Very prompt and clear communication with host. Would highly recommend. Already looking forward to staying again.

The house was very spacious and cozy. Kids loved playing in the backyard with the toys. A great neighborhood and no noise which was great. Also not far from the lake!

This property nicely met the needs of our family with part of the group staying at this property and others staying at two other properties in the area. The great room and deck nicely accommodated a group dinner and the grassy area was a perfect play area for the smaller children. The time of our stay was unusually warm for Lake Tahoe, but were able to cool the cabin at night by using the fans provided.

This home was a wonderful home beach for my family’s staycation (which was honored and rescheduled from July 2020). My husband’s family flew in from Arizona and we live full time in Truckee. It was wonderful to be a central location for our adventures both inside the Tahoe Basin and the Truckee area. The house was large and spacious for the 9 people we had in our party. The back yard was a gem and we had ample parking for our three vehicles. Communication with the hosts were quick and responsive. We only had a few constructive notes for the owners and future renters: * the ice maker in the freezer was not functioning. Bummer because it looks to be a brand new appliance. It wasn’t horribly inconvenient, we had to buy ice anyways for our various trips to the beach. Just be aware this might be an issue for your stay. *dishwasher has a difficult time cleaning dishes properly. It is extremely quiet, it was a fun game to figure out if it was even running or not. Again, bummer as it seems to be a new appliance. We just made it a fun event to wash our dishes by hand. * the jacuzzi was kinda gross. It was green and smelled. It looked like it hadn’t been serviced in quite a while. We messaged the host and they were able to get their spa maintenance person over to get it cleaned. Sadly, he let it slip that he hasn’t serviced this spa in quite some time. So who knows how often the spa gets cleaned between guests. Enter at your own risk. Though, once it was clean, it provided a wonderful early morning soak. * we stayed during one of the hottest weeks the area has seen in quite some time. The house was 94* when we entered the first day of our trip. We live here, they had no AC, we knew what we needed to do to get the house cool. Though, if you didn’t live here, there were no instructions to tell you what to do. There aren’t many windows in the upstairs living area to open at night to cool down a +90 degree house. We had to buy additional fans (we needed some for our own house, so, no biggie) to put in the window in the kitchen and the elevated window above the dining room table to get some cross flow at night. Not sure the owners could have done much, other than maybe warn guests that the house is probably +90 degrees and give them some tips on how to cool down the house. Maybe provide more fans that can sit in the windows?And for sure install some ceiling fans for upstairs! It literally took us about 3 days to get the house cool. Kinda crazy.

Wonderful place, we love it! Super close to king’s beach state park.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a play area outside for children and plenty of toys in the garage. There were bedrooms and baths for each family unit, allowing for lots of privacy. We enjoyed the large family room and especially enjoyed having dinner each evening on the deck with a cool breeze and sunset. The kitchen is stocked well and we found all the pots and utensils we needed. Beaches and other activities are close by. Shar is a great host and prompt in communicating when we had questions. We would definitely stay in this home again.

Pros: wonderful place, very family friendly, playground and backyard was idyllic, comfortable upper level and outdoor space for family activities, we used the firepit which was cool, perfect for our little dog. Cons: might be time to update the pull down mattress, litte short on cookware so consider bringing your own if you plan to do a lot of cooking, and lastly the heater of the hot tub was not warm enough for the cold night. Everything else was fine, would recommend this lovely home to friends and family! Thank you, Shar and family, for sharing your home with us.

For our annual family vacation we chose lake Tahoe and found this wonderful house. The toddler, age one and a half and the child, age 4 had a wonderful time with all the toys and the playground. The house was extremely clean and inviting and the location was excellent. We had a private backyard with playground that the children loved. We were just minutes away from nice restaurants and visited two very nice beaches.

Our family will definitely be back. The house was very accommodating and Shar (the homeowner) was very quick with communicating with regards to any questions. Kitchen had all supplies required for baking, cooking, and even plates/utensils for the kids. 3 minutes for safeway grocery in case we forgot items. Overall we had a great time!!

This was perfect for our large families and our dogs. Would definitely stay here again!
