I had a business trip combined with a family visit and this property met all of our needs from being centrally located to a place we could escape the Arizona July heat! We would absolutely look to return to this property on future trips.

This is a beautiful home in a quiet, golf course neighborhood. Quiet yet convenient to highway, local shops and restaurants. The place was very open and exactly as pictured. The owners were available for our questions and answered promptly. We had such a nice relaxing time away from the daily work grind!
We loved the pool and used it daily. We didn't use the hot tub but that's only because we stayed during the hottest time of the year!
We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent place to stay! The property itself is beautiful, inside and out. The character of the house is unmatched. Backyard you have your own little oasis with the pool and hot tub! Owner was fantastic and checked in to see how we were enjoying our stay. Conveniently located. Our only regrets is that we hadn’t found this place sooner!

Most everything about this property is amazing. It's comfy and cosy and easy to find. A few things... the bed linens and towels could use some updating - they felt very old and faded. The pillows could be updated too - they were pretty dirty. My son was sad that the pool was dirty - like it hadn't been cleaned in a while and he was sad that he couldn't use the hot tub. In all fairness we didn't try the hot tub - as the letter at the property said to use at our own risk - didn't seem like they wanted it used. There was a lot of outdated and old food in the cabinet and refrigerator and lots of old make-up and old hair products in the master bathroom. Really felt lived in with all of the stuff still there (it's not just stuff people accidentally left).
All in all, we love the property and would stay again. Charly was warm and welcoming and this was perfect for our Thanksgiving stay.

The house was wonderful Would not have survived the heat wave without the pool and there was plenty of shady areas in the backyard oasis. Charley was super easy to contact if needed Will definitely return to this home on future visits !

Lovely place with everything imaginable!
Pool, Hot Tub and super comfortable beds. Great place for gatherings and restful retreats! The owner is very responsive and attentive!

We stayed here for 5 days and it had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the mornings. Definitely would stay here again.

The home is in an established area in Tempe. Close to everything. It is homey and comfortable. The personal pictures are attractive. The home was very clean. We did not want for any convenience. What is most important to travelers - the bed. The king in the large master was extremely comfortable and included a wide range of pillows. Any question one might have about the residence was addressed by way of personal, yet informative notes either strategically placed close to an item or taped near by. Any issue that came up, regardless of its importance was quickly responded to by the owner who is caring and professional. We had a marvelous stay and are seriously contemplating a return trip next year. Thank you for all that you have and all that you share.

This house was perfect for our family spring break getaway to catch some spring training games. It was close to all of our activities, while being conveniently located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Our family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was a bonus, as it was still pretty chilly to take advantage of the pool this time of year.
The host, Charley was extremely attentive and responsive, and also gave some great recommendations for family-friendly activities. A grapefruit tree was brimming with fruit and they were absolutely delicious! Overall, we had an amazing time and I highly recommend this place for your upcoming stay in Tempe!

beautiful property in a safe & quiet residential neighborhood backing on to a golf course with a hi end hot tub and your own pool with a beautiful outdoor terrace and bbq. what more do you need? ok a fully stocked kitchen including a good supply of coffee, condiments and spices, a hi end fridge with legit filtered water, comfy couchs, spacious living & dining areas, comfy beds and fully stocked bathrooms. what more do you need?? how about the best owner you will ever experience? Charles exceeded with his communications, special touches and our requests. Our next visit to the Phoenix area will be scheduled around the availability of this property. Judging by the calendar, Charles place is in high demand and i can understand why!

The home was even better than we expected. It is very comfortable and is wonderfully decorated with so much interesting art. The WIFI was strong and the access to such a wide range of TV options was great. The outside, including the pool, was beautiful and it was fun watching the golfers tee off.
The host was very accessible and helpful. We hope to stay there on our next visit to Arizona

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner! The house is beautiful, nice quiet neighborhood, so many things to do all within minutes or a short drive. IF you want to leave. While we were at the house the majority of our time was spent on the back patio and in the pool. There is a hot tub available, though the weather was too warm (in our opinion to use it). The house has everything you could possibly need, so many extras which helped to make our vacation SO enjoyable! The host was wonderful, so easy to get in touch with and quick to reply. Instructions to help with everything around the house and helpful advice for our stay. You will not be disappointed in staying here!

Shalimar is a very comfortable, inviting place - it's actually more like staying in someone's home. Very clean with plusses for what people look for - kitchen, beds, bathrooms. Given that Tempe AZ is over 100 degrees in September, the pool was a treat.
Charley, the owner, is extremely attentive and welcoming.

Absolutely lovely place and peaceful atmosphere.
This home is simply wonderful. It is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The home is beautifully decorated that just provides such a peaceful atmosphere you'll never want to leave - I didn't!! The pool, hot tub, patio is just as lovely. My favorite time was sitting out on the patio. I have not felt that relaxed in a long time! The kitchen is well stocked and has a eat-in table. There is a patio door right off the kitchen for easy grilling. Our days were spent grilling, jumping in the pool (amazingly cool during day and warm at night) and just relaxing on the patio. The home was clean and comfortable. This home is by far the best home we've stayed at!

Great place to relax!
Great property to stay on, pool (not heated) but still nice to sit around and soak feet when you do need a cool down. Hot tub was great! Early morning/late night relaxing. Right on golf course, fun to watch the golfers (look out for some stray balls) and then watch beautiful sunset and sunrise from the backyard! Fruit trees! All house accomodations were great (kitchen to bathroom). Comfortable bed! It is a king size in the main bedroom, not 2 twins as some pictures showed. TVs had lots of channels if that's what's wanted. Had a great week! Thank you Charley for being so easy to work with! Recommended by a ND 40ish couple! ;)

Great home base for exploring southern Arizona!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our daughter graduated from Arizona State and we came from upstate New York for a family get together and celebration. Charlie was thoughtful enough to leave a bottle of sparking cider and graduation decorations congratulating our daughter on our arrival!. The home is so spacious and nicely decorated, very much a local, Arizona feel! Plenty of room for all of us. The pool and hot tub were also a great addition, and enjoyed by all of us. It was a great location for us to have as a home base while we explored southern Arizona. Thank you for helping make our stay so happily memorable!

Excellent is all we can say. On golf course...near popular shopping. Went to West Rim of Grand Canyon and experienced the raft ride on the Colorado Rapids thru Hulapai River Runners....Great experience and we are in our 60's. T & V from Ohio

It is nice that we could bicycle to local stores and restaurants, or call and get delivery. We are ready to book again, but the calendar doesn’t let us book that far out! Darn! Lovely home
We loved our stay. It felt like home as soon as we arrived. The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, a view of the golf course, comfortable beds. Charlie was very easily reached for any questions we had. We plan to return next year.

Extremely clean home. The shower pressure in the bathrooms was excellent. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Charley was great with communicating. I felt reassured should we need anything, he’d be available. Very easy to check out.
