Excellent location. View from the room was outstanding.
I thought that there would be 2 double beds. Perhaps I missed this detail. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. I would not have sacrificed the view to change this. Just what we needed in order to relax.

We love the Soundview. This time however, we barely had our room cleaned , not by our choice. We had only one change of linens (bath towels) and ended ho trying to air dry them most of the time which is hard to do with the humidity and fog.

Please avoid booking here at all cost UNLESS you're budgeted and would want to just spend a night in the Hamptons.
They're short in staff. The room needs to be remodeled. They made us check in past 4pm because our room wasn't done yet. When we finally checked in, the housekeeper yelled out and said we need to pick up our towels at the front desk! Our room smelled like pine sol cleaner, it was so strong we had allergic reaction and our beds were so UNCOMFORTABLE! There were sand on the floor throughout the rooms, the bathroom bath tub was stained...oh it was just awful! I had no choice but to stay there for 1 night, and that 1 night was as awful as I can remember.
Please remodel the units and get new comfortable beds.

Room was clean. The view was beautiful. Receptionist was attentive to any needs that came up.
Family above us was loud, bouncing a ball and singing Happy Birthday at 10:30pm

The location is nice, by the water and near a cycle rental and a bunch of restaurants, the staff were helpful (let us store our bags there after check out so we could go explore), the bed was very clean and comfy, the studio was by the water with a nice balcony just as we expected. Overall it was a nice short stay.
The walls were indeed very thin, we could hear everyone around us. The shower was tricky but worked okay.

The Mountauk Soundview is a great place to stay. We have stayed here a few times now. Each room is different and has plenty of options in regards to size. We stayed in a standard studio this time and it was great for the price. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The room had a partial water view, which was great. The bathroom could be updated, but it was clean and wasn't an issue. The pool is great and the views from the hotel may he the best in town. It is one of the best places to see the sunset. Overall, you can't miss staying here
Room next door smoked the entire trip, which we could smell in the shared deck space and in room at some points.

The pool closed at 430p the day we got there, and it was beautiful. We were more than bummed. The room we stayed in was a little dated and had normal wear & tear. Everything was exceptionally CLEAN!! and the bed was super comfy.

beautiful location. private beach, gorgeous sunsets. loved the size of the house we stayed in. truly had the best time. very clean.
advertised as 2 king beds. one is a pull out trundle/day bed with very thing mattress. bunk bed railing screws were all missing, held together by a small screw driver. we were able to fix it ourselves with random screws laying around. a lot of things in the closets to maintain the house, like paint, extra floor boards etc. these should have all been in one closet or better, not in reach of young children.

Nice efficiency unit convenient to boat basin area. Beautiful location, great view of water and sunsets from private raised beach area. Nicely decorated with solid porch furniture to enjoy outside under cover.
Noice from apartment above was disruptive as you could clearly hear occupants walking back and forth. Kitchen minimally stocked so if you plan to cook, consider bringing complete set of kitchen equipment.

Very Nice location, convenience, good value on booking. Com, quiet and comfortable.
The two sinks in the room were both leaking considerably and were noisy especially at night. Amenities were bare bones but extras were gladly provided by the office.

Great views! Heated pool in late September was a plus! Easy access parking. Great location.
Condo could be touched up a bit… couch wasn’t new looking, paint and kitchen cabinets could use refreshing, door keypad number kept falling out, toaster and three of four burners not working.

The location is a little out of the way if you are not driving there. There is an area close by with a couple of restaurants but not much other than that.

Outside facilities were lovely along with location
Room although very clean had coffee pot with no filters, no toaster, sparse soap in bathroom pump, and the back of remote missing. When mentioned to desk, only cleaning people around and didn’t speak much English. No real space in bathroom with no vanity…however, only there 2 nights so we made do.

The facilities were immaculate! I was worried because a lot of hotels in Montauk post pictures on their website that may be from 10 years ago but the Montauk Soundview was exactly as the pictures on the website. The room was clean totally sanitized & I felt very comfortable there. The view from the Look Out room was fantastic we could see for miles. A perfect relaxing 3 days.
