The location was in the center of the small town of Modugno of equal distance to the airport and Bari about 12 km

The town itself has nothing to offer and another time would stay in Bari. The price of the stay was high related to the amenities. Check in is from 18.00 which is unacceptable and far to late as the roads start to become packed as Italians leave their jobs and return home. The breakfast was a voucher down the road and included a coffee and a sweet bun, typical Italian but not for foreigners as there was nothing at all in the room as in many other locations we have stayed. The owner presents on Booking.com a number of photographs of delicious food which deceivingly attracts one to the property from a restaurant on the ground floor but not the breakfast location we were sent to about 50 meters away as we are all aware that getting a meal in this part of Italy can be a challenge especially breakfast. Saturday evening all the restaurants were pre booked and there was not a table for two available, Sunday all restaurants were closed in the evening. The price of a coffee and bun can be as low 2 euro so relative to the cost of the property is a joke and should not be allowed to be presented as breakfast on the room. We spent 1 hour on Saturday evening driving around looking for a place to park the car so as to get to the property to check in. It was the same the other days so apparently the owner has a parking space 250 meters away for an extra cost which is fine when you first get to park to check in. There was no internet in the room, the wifi instructions were outdated and the owner could not fix it. Our room was situated on the second floor after two flights of stairs and consisted of a bedroom without window and no natural light, sitting room was dismal and with only a small terrace door to the balcony and provided little light to the room, the bathroom was cramped and included a shower with shower curtain, there was a very small kitchen corner with access to a balcony overlooking the busy street.

Extremely polite owners, very helpful and friendly. They picked us up from the airport late at night. Centrally located in Modugno, walking distance from bars, restaurants, stores, etc. We were able to have breakfast at the patisserie across the street (included in the room price) and had what was easily one of the most delicious cappuccino with cornetto ever! The room was quite spaceous. There was a kitchenette with a small fridge, we stayed only one night so we didn't use it, but nice to have. Table for 2 in the room as well as on the private terrace. This place would be a perfect solution for anyone that has to stay in the area for a little while for business as well. A watch out: to reach the room, you have to go up a relatively steep & narrow staircase, so not ideal if you have physical limitations.

The bathroom could use a face lift and a better drainage, but overall it was in an OK shape. There is a restaurant downstairs, so you have to keep door and windows airtight locked when it's open, otherwise the smell of fried food will invade the room.

Amazing stuff, Denny the host took such a good care of us. Always helpful and super friendly. Place was absolutely clean and comfy, lovely location and surroundings. Everyday cleaning service and aromatic coffee for breakfast. Modugno is an amazing place, lovely and quite yet with a lot to see.

The lady of the house was very busy and therefore nervous, yet she was very kind and helpful. We felt like home because of the nice atmosphere.
