Lisa the owner was very nice and accommodating. The home is older but well maintained. Any questions or concerns were dealt with immediately. The owner lives across the street on the water and allowed us to use her dock to watch the sunset. Everything was great until the Covid19 crises hit and we had to leave early. Though she didn't have to, Lisa, the owner, refunded some of our money. Well appreciated. Thanks so much for s shortened by lovely stay in your home.

House is in good neighborhood and great location to beaches and Sarasota.Heated pool was a plus. Lisa and Larry were very attentive to our needs

Lisa was a wonderful host who was very available if needed. The house was great for a family vacation - lisa had a crib, high chair and water toys available for the kids. The location was near many attractions which made it accessible to visit and be home in time for kids nap. Pool in the backyard was a great oasis and entertainment for kids.

A week before arrival we became aware of the red tide that has plagued SW Fla. We immediately attempted to cancel the house but then read the policy so it didn’t seem like we had a choice. In fairness we didn’t ask Larry or Lisa. I wish we did. This home is In Bradenton which is a 30 minute drive to Siesta Key; a 23 minute drive to St Armand’s circle and 20 minutes to Ana Maria. The neighborhood at first seems seedy. Trailer parks and very run down homes. We definitely did not appreciate driving through this. House is cute and cozy. However the front door and back doors (off the master ) didn’t seal when shut. Larry had to tape one of the doors because of the inch gap that could let in geckos and frogs. Well at any given moment we had 2-3 geckos crawling around, on the bed skirts, crawling up the curtains and in our luggage. Annoying to say the least. On the first day Lisa let us check in early which was very kind . Thank you. The pool guy showed up around 4 o’clock and told me that this pool was in no condition to be swimming in. Well too late at this point as my kids jumped in as soon as we arrived. He said to be very very cautious because pool was green and he just got it back to clear. My entire family including myself have colds and coughs . Maybe the pool ; maybe the red tide? Monday morning the red tide found it was to the bay . We couldn’t breath it was so awful. Inside and outside the home. We packed up and stayed at a hotel. We took the kids to Orlando because there was absolutely nothing else to do. We came back 2 days later and the smell was just rancid. We checked out and found a hotel in Clearwater beach for the remainder of our stay. Lisa and Larry offered a free weeks stay next year which was very kind. I’d much rather recoup some of the extra monies we had to spend. We planned this house because of the location to the beaches . 30 minutes to siesta and 20 to Ana Maria; so mid way . Just because the red tide didn’t hit Bradenton (yet) didn’t mean we would have wanted to come. The red tide was everywhere we wanted to visit. That’s why people rent this home. Would’ve been nice if the owners allowed us the opportunity to cancel like they did for the next renters. Home had an updated kitchen and cute furnishings. Bathrooms are a mess. The tub knobs are confusing and my son scorched himself. Sinks don’t drain and shower heads are weak and clogged. Laundry room and beach items in garage were very helpful because we drove to CW

The house was very beautiful and cozy,everything you need for a trip to the beach is available beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. There was even baby furniture to accommodate my baby niece who came to visit .Fully furnished kitchen .The location was perfect it was on a nice quiet street and the view was beautiful. Owners very friendly . Overall our stay was wonderful my family PLUS my Florida family who we came to visit loved this place Thank you very much ! The only thing i would recommend would to fix the pool enclosure I was the only one to keep getting bit up. Other thank that PERFECT Thanks Again!!

The house was super cute, clean, has lots of character and well equipped with everything you’ll need or think you might need! Close to everything. This place is one of my favorites. Would definitely stay again!!!

We had 5 people, myself, my husband, teenage son and teenage daughters. The girls shared a room but the house was perfect for us. You could pay the same amount or more and be crammed into hotel rooms or you could do this and have complete privacy, a full kitchen, a screened in fenced in private pool, washer and dryer... the house has everything you need! Right down to beach chairs, umbrellas and pool floaties. (Wish I'd have known that before we flew ours down with us from Ohio). The house does need a few updates so don't expect a $400/night house for what your paying... but what house doesn't need a few updates? I know mine does and this one felt like home to us for 9 days. The home owners are great and went above and beyond what was required of them with everything they offered us. We had a perfect and peaceful beach vacation away from the Hussle and bustle of our typical condo stays. We will be back. 🌴☀️

We enjoyed our stay. Larry and Lisa are nice hosts and really make you feel at home. The house is well equipped and we loved to have our morning coffee in the sun at the pool. The pool has sunshine all day. The house is situated in a quite area and the it's only 15-20 minutes to the sandy Gulfcoast beaches. Larry and Lisa respond very quickly on any question or issue. We had the last days of our stay problems with the airconditioning. Larry called for an electrician. Unfortunately the problem couldn't be solved directly, but the last day of ou stay a complete new airconditioning unit was installed. We will come back on our next trip to Florida.
