Cozy house close to the French Quarter
From the get-go, Jesse was very easy to get in touch with and had free and open communication with me. Any question I had was answered immediately. Our place was conveniently located within a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter and so it was a great place to stay at during my sister's bachelorette party of 7 women. Each corner of the house had a note to help us follow structure and rules and easy guidelines. The cleaning service also left us beads for Mardi gras and a Kings' Cake! There was an abundance of clean towels, amenities and extra blankets every. We also enjoyed easy easy to extras as needed (batteries and a lighter for the stove) as well as soap for the washing machine. There was a point where I communicated with Jesse about the heat not working, but he was quick to email, text and call me to discuss how to fix it. I really loved staying at this home and enjoyed the whirpoool with the girls (we had to rest our tired feet in the tub) and we even named the gargoyles out front Envie (Envy) and Bette. The girls loved the home and we would gladly stay in this cute place any time we visit New Orleans. Jesse was a wonderful host and great facilitator of our needs!

Our girls trip accommodations were spot on. Great house. We loved sitting at the dining room table and talking and getting ready to go out. Really great house!

Great location near the French Quarter
The property is in a fantastic location near the French Quarter and Frenchman's Street. The pictures online are very accurate. There was plenty of room for 9 of us staying in the house. The owner was very quick to respond to all requests and very easy to deal with. He let us in early on the day of arrival which was very helpful. I would recommend this home for anyone wanting to enjoy the French Quarter and Frenchman's Street.

Perfect!
Our stay in NOLA was perfect and it was largely due to the location of this property. Classic New Orleans home that can accommodate a large group of people comfortably. Jesse was more than accommodating to our needs (allowed us to check in early since our flight arrived a lot earlier than the scheduled check in). The home really is within walking distance to EVERYTHING. Thank you for a wonderful experience Jesse!

The Smile House was the perfect home base for my best friend's bachelorette weekend. Location is outstanding, house is unique, clean, and beautiful, and Jesse was extremely helpful and responsive. Will absolutely stay here again for my next New Orleans trip.

Great Location, Great Art, Comfortable
great spot located walking distance to basically everything you would want to do in New Orleans. We had a group of 10 that fit comfortably with no issues. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit same spot again.

Perfect Stay
We had an incredible time staying at the Smile House - couldn't have picked a better spot for our bachelor party. The house was also super clean, well stocked with towels & sheets, plus the cleaning person left us with liquor from a tasting she had been to earlier that week. The master bedroom and bathroom were fantastic - we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Jesse was super accommodating and nice (even when I called him at 8am the day before our stay in a panic about forgetting to sign a document.)

Luxury in Marigny
The property is simply amazing! It is HUGE with exquisite art and furnishings (antique) that capture the charm that is New Orleans. The location is quite central to either jazz on Frenchmen Street or strolling into the French Quarter. It is also within 2 blocks of two wonderful breakfast places (The Ruby Slipper and Horn's -I would recommend Horn's). The owner has outfitted the property with anything you might possibly need. Not only do you feel at home but it has a homey vibe that invites you in such that you don't want to leave. I would not hesitate in renting this again - it.was.fabulous!

Cozy yet spacious.
This is our second time staying at Smile House and it was perfect! We had a minor issue with the air conditioning, but Jesse was on top of it and took care of the problem right away. The location is ideal - located near Frenchman and Bourbon. Given the chance, we would all definitely stay here again!

Great location
The house worked well for our group of 9. There is not a lot of privacy. Fortunately for us we knew each other well. The location was perfect for music on Frenchman or access to the quarter.

Exactly what we needed
The house had plenty of room for 10 people (with some doubling up in the beds). The location was excellent, easily walkable to Frenchmen and Bourbon, and the house had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to New Orleans

Smile House is the place to be!
The landlord was very flexible with Check-in and Check-out times when we alerted him in advance of our travel plans. The location was great, and we had everything we needed! I highly recommend it. A few blocks in either direction and you have good food, a variety of bars and great music!

Amazing time
We stayed here for a bachelor party really enjoyed our stay at the Smile House. We arrived and the house was very clean and no problems at all. The house is beautiful and in walking distance or a 5-10 minute Uber to almost everything. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Close to everything but yet it was quite enough at night. House is larger than pictured. Rooms are very spacious. Everything you need is supplied at the house. It does have a lot of old charm to the house which was kept. Very large master suite with huge bathroom/ separate large shower and whirlpool tub. Owner Jesse is very quick to answer any questions that might come up.

This very spacious, attractive and comfortable house is in a great location. The Marigny neighborhood is lovely with easy walking access to Frenchman Street and the Quarter. It was blessedly quiet at night. The house is generally well equipped, though a bit quirky on balance. Lots of seating, few places to set a drink. A huge kitchen with limited variety of plates & glasses. We were two couples, entertaining local friends, so we noticed these details. However, overall this property has an excellent "feel", is well maintained, has a gracious and accommodating host and is an exceptional value in New Orleans. We'll definitely return.

The smiley house is very spacious and easily accommodates three single people. There is a bar three houses away which did result in some late night noise otherwise, the location was fairly quiet. We had trouble getting a taxi to pick us up as we had an international phone number, (as a result, missed our flight) the people at the bar (iggy's) we're very accommodating and got cliff a local taxi driver to take us. The house is about a 10 walk from the heart of the French quarter, and other than a few cleaning issues, (floors and one of the beds) it was a good place to stay.

Excellent location between the French Quarter and Frenchman St, with an easy walk to both locations and the bus or trolley car station at the French Market.
Home is well kept, in excellent condition and has everything you will need for your stay.
The area is safe, we had no issues walking around day or night.
Don't bring anything you need to hang up, lots of space for folded cloithes, no place to hang any clothes.
Internet was down while we were there, so we could not access our e-mails.
We would highly recommend the house to anyone.
Fantastic trip made better by the fantastic house.

This house was great! A group of friends and decided to meet in New Orleans for our annual reunion. We came across the smile house and immediately booked it. Staying there was like being at home and made the NOLA experience amazing. It's close to everything, comfortable and the neighborhood is spirited and safe.

Great location for our adult children to stay while we were in NOLA. Easy walking to anything they needed. Rental was clean and the owner was great to work with. I would recommend this property to friends.

Awesome neighborhood, safety was my biggest question mark and it's a great residential spot. Close to the best part of the Quarter, Frenchmen! Lots of space, central AC was way better than a typical hotel room, no complaints whatsoever. Well furnished, parking was easy, highly recommend!

This house is fantastic! The photos don't convey how spacious the place feels, due to the high ceilings and generously proportioned rooms. The master suite has a sitting room, a very comfortable bed plus a fully renovated bath with a jacuzzi tub and huge shower. We really enjoyed the location-- it's far enough from the action (we were there during the first weekend of jazz fest) that it's very quiet at night for sleeping, but just a short stroll from the great clubs on Frenchman or in the Quarter. We also enjoyed the iPod players so we could hear WWOZ or play music before/after the day/evening activities. The house has everything you need and there's a 24 hour bar just half a block away that will serve a nightcap, morning bloody mary, or just about anything in between. Jesse was very helpful and easy to deal with, and provided his phone number should we have needed any information or in case there were any issues (which there weren't). All in all, we were very comfortable and enjoyed a fantastically fun stay! Would love to return to Smile House! Thanks for everything, Jesse!!

This house very much exceeded our expectations. Somehow it's just so much better in person than shown in the pictures! Roomy, quiet, clean, convenient. Close enough to the French Quarter to stroll over for dinner, far enough from the madness to get a good night's sleep. We stayed in another house in the same neighborhood later in the week, and it just didn't compare. Will try to stay at the Smile House next time we're in N.O.!
