This is on the top my favorite places in downtown Charleston!

This was our first time in Charleston and this litttle pool house made this trip perfect. The home was spotless, and the location was perfectly centered to everything. It was so peaceful that we actually had some of the best sleep we’ve ever had. Felt like we were sleeping in the trees. We can’t wait to come back.

Great location

We loved the pool house for our stay. We basically needed a place to sleep at the end of a long day and it was so charming and comfortable. We were one block off of King St and were able to walk everywhere. The backyard is gorgeous and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee.

Our stay was really enjoyable, it's like being in a treehouse! The koi pond outside our place was lovely.

What a sweet little cottage. Upstairs felt like sleeping in a treehouse. The fish pool and garden added a beautiful serene quality to the setting. Location is perfect for King Street fun!

Very nice- inside and out...upstairs bedroom- super comfortable bed- bed space/ bath. Downstairs is a little worn - sofa/ rug especially. Small kitchen needs some counter or just a regular toaster not a toaster oven. I agree that the blinds need to be more private. Water features and Koi pond are beautiful.

This was a little gem you would never know existed. Perfectly appointed and grounds are beautiful. We had our own little oasis and couldn’t have been more perfect!

We loved this little cottage. It was close enough to walk almost everywhere! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Charleston.

This place is probably the most beautiful VRBO we have ever rented. Lovely loft-style pool house in a gated courtyard, with a coy pond in front and a sweet saltwater pool just beyond that. Amazing! Also, location was walkable to excellent cafes, restaurants and King Street. We really can’t say enough about this place and hope to return whenever we visit Charleston.

This was a great location for our stay in Charleston. Perfect for a family weekend getaway! We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor seating. Parking was tight for our vehicle, but we appreciated the off-street aspect and made sure to be careful! Highly recommend this accommodation.

The property was lovely. Koi pond and pool were amazing features. Small kitchen was perfect for our stay. Having a washer and dryer were a nice feature Comfortable bed was like sleeping among the trees. The only downside of that was the lack of privacy. We wish there was an option to either enjoy the view or block out the view which was due to see thru bamboo shades. The properties are very close and I’m a very private person so I hung towels to make the bathroom more private. Otherwise it was a perfect stay! Communication with property manager spot on, both during our stay and prior to our arrival. Location was fantastic. Having a parking space was great. We were able to walk to 90% of our destinations. Lastly it was very clean, and thanks for the welcome bottle of wine!

We loved the Pool House and the courtyard. It was a beautiful setting and we also loved the neighborhood.

Seamless booking and check-in. Property was just as described, incredibly beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely be booking here again.

Great location. Close to the action but very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard fountains drowned out any street noise.

Fabulous place to stay! We had a blast, and would not hesitate to stay here again! Book it!

We only were able to stay here 1 night but had a relaxing, comfortable and yummy (ate at Indagó, delicious!).

Could not have asked for a better place to stay with my girls. The coy pond was an amazing sight in the morning. The house glows with the amount of sunlight pouring in. Property was clean, and centrally located to downtown. Looking forward to our next trip back!

Gorgeous property in an incredible location close to everything you could ever want. Despite being so close to the heart of everything, the hosts have added great touches (noise machine in primary bedroom and lovely fountain outside that leads to a peaceful koi pond) to drown out any potential noise. We will definitely be back!

Great property within walking distance to many local restaurants and shops. Management was easy to reach to address our questions. The property including pool were well maintained and we appreciated the private parking. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent here again!

Beautiful gem hidden from the hub bub of the city. Everything was clean and as presented online. Loved the pool (which we used every night)! 3 suggestions: provide Kleenex, mention the historic alley and to be prepared for rough terrain and large puddles (we didn’t have a rental car and were walking at PM), and a tip as to where to empty trash as we were there for 6 days. Would not hesitate to rent again!

Great property that is ideal for 2 people. Excellent location close to all that Kings Street had to offer in terms of local restaurants and shops. You can walk everywhere! Private parking for one car was great and it was so easy to get to the many plantations and beaches in the area. Loved it!

Romantic getaway, walking distance to everything!

Very fun place to stay while in Charleston. Close to the action on King Street and yet a very quiet place to come back to after a busy day. A unique place to stay!

We really appreciate how easy it was to communicate with the management and how accurate the description was on VRBO. We spent 3 nights, including Thanksgiving, at this very nice place, and were able to walk to a number of places in Charleston. Thank you for your hospitality, and wine, and we would absolutely stay at the Serene Cottage on a return to Charleston.

My husband and I had a beautiful honeymoon stay at this property! It was serene, beautiful, and in close proximity to everything!

The property was very well maintained and the location was perfect! Great staff too!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Even though it’s in the center of the city, it was completely private and cozy once inside the courtyard. The place itself was clean and beautiful. A lovely bottle of red wine was left to welcome us. When up in the loft bedroom, the treetops can be seen through the windows which added to the feeling of tranquility. We would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here in the future.

When staying in Charleston we would NEVER stay anywhere else. The courtyard was amazing and the waterfall sounds coming from the koi pond was just amazing. Attention to detail was spot on. Felt like we were living our best Charleston life.

The property was neat and clean. I was worried the location was further away from downtown but as it turns out we were close to everything. The swimming pool was nice for a quick dip.
