The regular shuttle service to downtown Charleston made it easy to access that area without having to deal with driving and parking in the chaos.

The exterior did look a bit run down as you first pulled up, though thankfully the interior spaces had been recently updated and were in good condition, especially in contrast with the first impression.

Very nice stay with great discounts throughout the weekdays, however not so good rates on the weekends.

The hike i saw in the rates when I wanted to stay a couple more days.

The location is good. The shuttle service was awesome.

Booking.com advertised this room as Oceanview, but it wasn't. The front desk didn't advise us of the water problems. The a/c was noisy.

The size of the room. I thought from the pictures it would at least have a balcony, but no such luck.

Front desk attendance. Not great. No coffee or water in lobby. We arrived at11:30. Shuttle was late departing. Shuttle pick up was on time. Night desk attendant rolling a cigarette as we entered. Of all the rooms in the hotel we were given one next to the pool. Breakfast awful. Service was ok. Morning desk attendant not to be found, then suddenly appears looking high as a kite. Our door entry was broken. Hotel in disrepair needs attention. Needs some TLC desperately. The staff we came in contact with, except for the shuttle drivers, we’re not at the top of there game.

The shuttle to down town was great. All drivers pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is old and desperately needs updating. The room we stayed in was of a really poor standard. The hotel had a busy Mother’s Day lunch and unfortunately the knock on effect meant that breakfast the following morning was really poor.

We loved having the shuttle to take us into the city! Jason, the shuttle driver is amazing!

We booked a king size bed and were given 2 doubles. They didn’t have any king size rooms available. It would have been nice to have a king size bed but it definitely didn’t ruin our trip.

I coincidentally went to this hotel with my parents as a child and the facility looks as though it hasn’t been updated in the intervening 40+ years.

They swapped our rooms with no issue when we found out there was no hot water in our original room. The staff jumped on it right away and tried to fix it. When it became a maintenance problem, they moved us without issue. Great way to resolve the problem!

The breakfast was awkward. We didn’t know who the waiting staff were and had to ask the host to take our order. The food was great but getting it was a hassle.

Great views from the restaurant!!! Convenient to the places I wanted to visit.

The soaps are nice. Bed is pretty comfortable

The room is small and you hear everything from hallway and other rooms. The quality of the facility is very old and not good looking

it was a fabulous location just not clean needs lots of remodeling but the rooftop restaurant and bar is stunning
