The cottage was charming and felt like home. Had everything you need to spend time with family and close to town. Walked everywhere. Host was extremely nice and helpful.

The owner was super lovely to chat with when I picked up the key to the house at check in. There’s a composting situation in the back yard that’s amazing. Beautiful grounds, quiet neighborhood, gas Westwood stove, locally sourced coffee at the ready, soft towels and sheets, we wanted for nothing. We will stay here again!

Nice getaway
We stayed the weekend with our dog. It was a nice peaceful 3 nights. It’s close to beaches, restaurants and shops. We would stay there again. Kathleen was very responsive and accommodating.

We had a great stay in this lovely, welcoming home. Kathleen took good care of us and we really enjoyed getting to know her. The location was perfect and we would highly recommend this property!

Perfectly charming and comfortable.
Kathleen was a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to make us comfortable, The hair dryer was an old one and when we arrived she actually went out and replaced it with a newer model. I’ve been staying at VRBO for 12 years and have never encountered a more gracious or helpful hostess. We also had complete privacy the whole time we were there.
The house, itself, is beautifully maintained with every convenience you will need. In the kitchen and bathroom. It’s clean and quiet. She has so many little nice touches everywhere. Flower arrangements from her garden are in almost every room.
The grounds are wild and wonderful with redwood Sequoias in the back yard.
I would stay in this house anytime I am in the area. In fact it’s so lovely that i might make a trip to Fairfax just to be there. Dr. Myrna Fleishman

Wonderful stay!
This house is beautiful, peaceful & cozy! My sister and I stayed here to attend a wedding nearby, and Kathleen made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect. Wonderful host & home!
