The condo itself was very clean. However the property had bugs crawling outside and inside the lobby and grills. It was also noted that parking would be $25 per two vehicles, but when we arrived we had to pay $35 per vehicle and was told the policy changed in January. I messaged the property owner along with proof of the new parking contract. He stated he was not aware of the new policy change but when I asked for my money back since it was falsely stated he never would respond back to me. I sent multiple messages as well and never got a response.

We have stayed at Splash multiple times and have always had a good experience. This was the first time renting from this host due to our family growing and needing more space now. The only recommendation that our family would suggest is allowing the air to drop below the fixed temperature. But we will most definitely book again next year!

We had a great stay! The room was exactly what we wanted and we had everything we needed. This was our first time at Splash and we will definitely be planning to stay here again. We go to Panama City Beach each year and if we have the opportunity we will definitely be renting this condo again.

The condo was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and great view from the balcony. Over all it was a very good experience and would definitely recommend staying there.

We stayed here with our teenage kids and grandparents. Place was great! Plenty of room for all of us. Nice big balcony. Only complaint would be the mattress in one of the master suits needs replaced. The other one was great! Decor feels beachy. Walking distance to some restaurants and shopping. Short drive to pier park.
Make sure to bring laundry detergent, paper products, dishwasher detergent etc.
would recommend adding some Tupperware to the condo. Plenty of cooking pans and utensils.

Not many two bedroom condos that have two masters that are oceanfront! The pull out sofa bed is extremely comfortable! We started looking online after laying on it for one in our own home. Plenty of space for everyone! 12th floor isn’t too high and isn’t too low. Splash has multiple pools and of course the water park is fun for the kids. Location is just a couple minutes from Winn-Dixie grocery store and a few minutes from Pier Park. Great place!

We enjoyed the room! It was nicely decorated and furnished well. The owner responded to my messages quickly. The lowest you can set the AC is 70, we prefer it a little cooler but we survived. The elevators were a nightmare(obviously no fault of the condo owner, they were great, but just FYI for those considering staying at Splash). Also there is no wheelchair ramp from the resort to the beach. So if you have beach wagons or wheel chairs be prepared to carry them down steps to get to the beach. My recommendations for the condo would be a bigger kitchen garbage can, more kitchen towels and wash cloths, and box fans for each room(there’s one in a closet but we couldn’t get it to work). My mom slept on the couch bed and she said it was one of the best she had ever slept on! The resort beach is not private, it has public access. So we had to get up early every morning to get the spot we wanted on the beach. Also the splash pad/pool water was freezing!! Overall we loved the room, it was clean and we didn’t have to do a million things before we checked out(which is plus for me when you have little kids and stuff to get out the door on time).

We have stayed at splash many times and always enjoy the property. The lazy river jets were not functioning, but that’s not the owners fault. We were supposed to have 6 in our group but only ended up with 5. I would have called the owner for more towels if everyone was there we would not have had enough. We were fine since there was just three of us. It’s time to replace the couch and outdoor cushions. There were 4 chairs and only 3 cushions. Again I did not reach out to the owner since we had what we needed, but it should be addressed. There are no tall glasses in the unit, just juice size glassware. The listing says coffee maker, so we brought coffee and filters, but it’s actually a Keurig so that would have been good to know. Everything worked, but there are large pieces of paint falling off the oven. These are small cosmetic issues, but should be resolved. We enjoyed the spacious set up of this unit along with the great views! Elevators can be an issue on check in/out days but you can always arrive, get your parking pass and wrist bands to enjoy the pool or beach then unload the car after the rush! Check out is the same. We load the night before leaving so it’s easier. If you wait to get a cart and try to catch an elevator at 10 your going to be in for a long wait! This unit is close to the elevators and located on the tower with the splash pad, but it’s easy access to all the amenities. I used the gym most days and the equipment has seen better days. Would go back.

Didn’t like the fact I couldn’t set thermostat to what I’m accustomed too. Which caused me and my family to get really hot at night. Other than that it was good. No Arcade and No Bowling Ally. So don’t believe that.

We had a great stay at this two-bedroom condo. There was a beautiful view on the 12th floor and the host was very responsive. We had everything we needed, including better-than-average kitchen utensils (sometimes at a rental they can be pretty bad quality). The beach was busy but beautiful. If you walk 100 yds to the West you can have the beach all to yourself. It was very convenient to have two chairs and an umbrella provided by the host. The pool, slides and splash pad were loved by our little ones. The only negative, and it wasn't the host's fault at all, is that there are only two elevators, and peak times could be problematic. We were a little strategic about when we would come and go to avoid waiting a long time for the elevators. Overall we had a great time and the room suited our needs VERY well.

The Condo—
This unit is very large for a two bedroom at Splash and the owner was easy to connect with. The condo was clean, well maintained and just as pictured. It was a bit frustrating not to have total control of the heat/air due to it being remotely regulated by the owner. I do understand that vacationers in the summer might freeze these units up, so I can see the benefit to an owner. However, personally, I will avoid condos with this set up in the future. Overall, the condo is one of the nicest we have stayed at in the half dozen trips we have made to the Gulf Coast. Five stars.
Splash Resort—
We have stayed at Splash in the fall before, but this time there were no wooden beach chairs available on the beach and we had to scramble to buy something overpriced from local stores. The arcade at Splash has been closed down and turned into an expensive ice cream shop that was open limited hours only 3-4 days a week. Also the lazy river was partially cordoned off for 7 days. On day 8 we used it, but the jets weren’t on and the water was unfiltered (filled with gunk and dirt) so I am not certain if it was really supposed to be used even on that day. This was our second trip to find the lazy river at Splash out of order. Overall I am disappointed with the Splash Resort this year and we will not stay there again.

This condo was the right size for me, my husband, daughter and her friend (both age 14). Splash is definitely for younger kids but my daughter and her friend did have fun. We had noticed how beat up the elevators were when we got there but they got an update during the week and looked much better. Some reviews had stated not being able to see the whole pool area because of pillars and this is true. The pools are small and there isn't much seating, I couldn't imagine what it would be like during the busy season (spring/summer). Now to the condo. It was spacious! Rooms and bathrooms are nice. The kitchen was a good size and had things one would need. If you have small children plan on bringing plastic cups because there's only glass cups (glasses you'd use for alcoholic beverages). If you are a person that likes to be cool/cold while you sleep bring a fan. The AC will only go so low. I believe it's controlled off site and will not go below 70°. We did enjoy our stay, just trying to help other people out before going. It's a fabulous condo with a great view!!!

We had a great vacation! The room was the perfect set up for us as we had a total of nine of us. It was very clean and well set up with different items that you do not think to bring. We had no issues with getting our beach chairs every day and the balcony view was amazing! Thank you for a great stay!

Property is beautiful. This was our second stay at a Splash Condo. This property was found to have a few minor issues but the owner responded immediately to my concerns. The dishwasher drawers wouldn’t open and the food disposal would not turn on. He talked us through fixing the disposal. The dishwasher issue was not addressed during our stay, which wasn’t a problem as we do very minimal cooking on vacation. I was pleased with the cleanliness off the property. Bed were comfy, and the new couch bed was great for our teen daughter. (Not the couches pictured) it’s now a couch and 2 chairs. There are two extra chairs in the condo also. Balcony is spacious with great furniture. I will say a new broom would help keeping the room tidy as the one on hand was very worn out and I like to clean up during my stay. All in all we had a great stay.

Excellent condo
The double master condos at splash are amazing. We loved the large balcony and that every room had a door to it with beautiful views. This condo is very spacious. Some of the previous reviews talked about one of the shower doors not closing all the way, that’s accurate, we just put a towel down to catch any water coming out. The dishwasher we did not use because as other said it looked a little iffy. I also noticed the “black mold” spots around the vents, it’s a humid environment and this is probably from where someone has left the balcony doors open causing condensation to build on the surfaces around the vents. The condo was clean upon our arrival, there was a little sand on the floor, but that’s understandable because it is the beach and it is absolutely impossible to get up ALL of the sand.
Towards the end of our stay some maintenance men wanted to check for water leaks in our room, they said water was pouring into the unit below us. The only thing they could find was that the caulking around the bottom of the showers were no longer doing their job and that the panels were separating at the bottom of the showers, they assumed this was the cause for the water in the unit below. The last night we were there, we noticed when going to was cloths that there was water coming up from between the tiles in front of the washing machine when you stepped on them. Not sure if it came from the washer or if water had gotten under the tiles from the shower. But there was quite a bit of water pushing up from under the tiles.
This condo definitely has a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Being that off season is very near, hopefully they get it all fixed before next spring. But overall we had a great time staying here and even with the few issues we noticed it wasn’t something that just ruined our trip or left a bad taste in our mouth towards the unit or owners or anything like that. We would definitely stay here again, pending the fixing of the maintenance issues.
The covered pool/hot tub/splash pad under the west tower stayed busy. The pools under the east tower were barely used our whole 7day stay. The arcade would have been cool but 90%of the machine weren’t working. And of course like everyone has mentioned, it is a little irritating sometimes having to wait on the 2 elevators that have to service the entire tower.
And to the next guests, we left several boogie boards and sand toys in the unit for any future guests to use. 🤙🏼

Needs some TLC!
We enjoyed our time at the beach. This was our first time staying a splash resort and the kids liked it. They did complain about how cold the pools were. The condo itself needs some TLC. There was mold/mildew on the ceilings and walls. One of the outdoor chairs is broken and my husband fell because of this matter. The dishwasher doesn’t work at all! The shower door doesn’t shut, but was still usable. There was a lot of dust!

Great location and condo but could use some TLC!
This is a super nice condo and great area but could definitely use some TLC in the condo itself. The kitchen sinks stop up, the shower door doesn’t close all the way, the toilet runs, one of the shower heads leak, the dishwasher is iffy sometimes and the AC isn’t quite as cool as it could be. The property owner got a few of these issues fixed for us while we were there, but when you pay this amount for a weeks stay, you expect everything to be perfect. Great furniture and lovely decor but just needs to be kept up -maintenance wise- better!

Bad experience
We love Panama City beach and we love splash this is our 4th year staying there.. this was the first time we had stayed in this condo. The property is amazing and so much fun for the kids. The layout was also very good for two families. The bad parts were that when we first arrived we noticed that the refrigerator was not working I immediately messaged the owner.. after no response I emailed him and then also called and there were zero responses. The shower door was broken in one of the bedrooms. The worst part of all was the amount of black mold all throughout the condo. It was coming out of every vent in the place. All of the shower heads and sinks were also covered… the seals of the refrigerator and shower doors were also covered in mold. One of the patio chairs was also broken. The beds are VERY firm which could be okay for someone who prefers that. You are not allowed to change the temp in the condo. It has to stay no lower than 72 which also may be okay for some however my family prefers it a little colder especially at night. Communication with the owner leading up to checkin was very good but after that it was non existent. Would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone!

House keeping needs improvement
Property was very nice however upon arrival an visually inspecting the property it became obvious it was not cleaned very well after the last tenants vacated the property. One bedroom had candy, cereal, and other food under the dresser and behind it which was visible without moving anything. The ceiling fan in the same room literally had dust covering the blades. The property was spacious and well stocked however upon searching for a broom to sweep up the mess left behind I was unable to locate one. I had to leave the property an go buy a broom to clean with. Also to add concern the comforter was dingy and had blood on it. I understand perfection isn’t possible when cleaning however the housekeeping staff definitely needs addressed

Would not stay here again
The resort is very run down. It was probably amazing several years ago, but not much up keep has been done. It just felt gross. The condo itself was ok, but felt like it wasn’t cleaned well either. The elevators were a nightmare! Only 2 elevators for an entire tower. We’d often wait 10+ minutes each time we needed an elevator. The resort is easily 15-25 minutes away from everything food/entertainment related. I don’t feel like this condo was worth the price, and we definitely won’t be staying here again. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Awful elevators, worst elevators I've ever seen
They closed the pool once everyday out of the 7 we stayed, due to lightening TEN miles away! TEN! I would understand maybe 3 miles away, but ten was ridiculous. We had to wait atleast 10 minutes every time on an elevator. It was the slowest ones I have ever seen. They need to add another set of them. The jack and Jill shower was a disaster the glass door wouldn't shut completely and the shower heads squirted water all over the ceiling and leaked every where and there was black mold all underneath the glass door. We didn't expect it to be PERFECT, but for the money we spent it should've been a WAY better stay. The kids did love the splash area and HOT TUB and the view was miraculous. The chairs that came with the room was a nice plus and the beds were comfy!
