We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was clean and very well kept. Good location too!

I loved my Xalapa casita!!! It was met all expectations. The pictures are not misleading.....it was just as I was expecting. Instructions were so clear and helpful. As I arrived on the ferry I found the maleteros (gentlemen who will take your luggage for a small fee/tip). we walked just a few blocks to the Villas San Miguel. The walk was so short that I felt a little embarrassed I didn't walk my own luggage. The locations is perfect. So close to everything yet very private and peaceful. I was a bit early so I contacted Keith and he helped me get myself situated. The casita was not just any ole hotel room. It was charming, cozy, and comfortable. The staff helped me arrange a Golf Cart rental to explore the island. The terrace lent unobstructed ocean views of the Sunrise. The Bed is crisp, clean, and comfortable. My family was staying elsewhere and were frankly a little jealous. There were more than enough beach towels for enjoying the dreamy beaches which are just a 15min walk. Even closer was the center of town (restaurants, bars, shopping) check out the aguachile at Oceans and the happy hour at Beerholics. I was so pleased. it was a wonderful experience. I would ABSOLUTELY rebook this place on my next trip to Isla!

Our Xalapa Casita was everything we wanted it to be! Finishes are older, but it was clean and the bed is super comfy. Being south of Punta Norte, the property is very quiet. We were provided drinking water and coffee, as well as other basic essentials. Everything else could be found at the nearby Super Aki or at Chedraui (think Walmart) for a $15 taxi ride round trip. We were glad we didn't rent a golfcart for the week as everything in El Centro is within walking distance. We rented a golf cart for one day to cruise around the island and visit Punta Sur and that was plenty for us. The staff is friendly and helpful but stays out of your hair. The pool is lovely and we usually had it all to ourselves. The best part was morning coffee on the balcony! Keith is communicative and easy to work with. You can avoid the VRBO fee by booking directly through his website Isla Dreams. If we go back to Isla Mujeres we will definitely stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa San Miguel. The location was just wonderful and within short walking distance to everything the North end has to offer. The amenities at Villa San Miguel were perfect; clean rooms, cold AC, lovely swimming pools for the evening or stay in lounging days. We will definitely be back and hope to bring other friends. This place would be perfect for several couples as they have multiple quaint units to choose from. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay at Villas San Miguel in Xalapa. The view was great, right on the malecon which was never crowded at all, just enough foot traffic to make it interesting. The bed was very comfortable, and we are picky about beds. It has everything you need to cook a meal if you wanted although we choose to eat out every day, but the microwave is great for reheating all the leftovers. We will be back sometime for sure.

This is our third stay at Villas San Miguel, this time at Casita Xalapa. The floor plan is more open and a little smaller than Casitas Puebla and Tampico and we loved it just the same for 2 people. The ocean front location is superb and we loved being in the town center (walking distance to supermarket and restaurants) while being on a quiet corner of it. Our unit had a balcony overlooking the malecon (great for morning walks) and the crashing waves. The sound, which we enjoy, is constant, so if you like a super quiet sleep this ocean front unit might no be for you. The unit is very clean (we appreciated the every other day cleaning and change of linens), the kitchen had what we needed to cook and a water dispenser with drinking water which saved us from buying bottled water. The unit has overall good lighting, plenty of outlets, the king bed was comfortable and the bed and bathroom linens were of good quality. The shower had plenty of water. In this unit, though, the pressure was uneven likely because of sea mist corrosion of shower head, so a replacement would be great. Overall we enjoyed our stay and plan to rent again from Keith. Communication with host was very good.

My husband and I have been to Isla many times and stayed all over the island but this is by far are favorite location. Its clean, the staff is great, close to everything and has wonderful views. We can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I have traveled to Isla Mujeres many times. We have stayed on North Beach, Punta Sur and in between. This by far has been the best location for us. We look forward to staying again in the future.

I rented Xalapa for a month and spent half the time by myself and the other half with my wife. It was the perfect rental for enjoying Isla Mujeres. It’s on the East side so you get the onshore breeze and are away from the chaos of the ferry area. But it’s also within walking distance of all the great restaurants, bars, beach clubs and stores on the North end of the island. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon, the WiFi and AC are great creature comforts, and the bed is super comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location to walk into town or North beach, hear the ocean waves, and enjoy Isla Mujeres! Quaint condo feels like Mexico and has all the basic supplies necessary. Patio overlooking the malecon was a perfect way to watch the sunrise over morning coffee, and found the upper patio pool a shady option if the sun is too hot. Communication was great and staff were friendly and helpful.

Privacy without being remote. Clean clean clean! The property is superbly situated for convenience and on site staff are professional and friendly. The staff obtained a golf cart as requested and had it ready. I am already planning on booking here again. This exceeds any resort setting

Our stay was terrific. The casita was great; balcony over the ocean was fabulous. I could not imagine a better location; a block from the center of town with restaurants and shops, grocery store nearby, and a nice walk to the resorts and beaches. Yes, the location was the icing on the cake.

The property is well maintained with nice clean pools and of course you can't beat opening your balcony door the amazing view and listening to the waves crash at night. We will definitely come back as we have in the past. Thanks!

The unit was beautiful and we'd absolutely stay again. The pools were small, but great. Never crowded and we were there during a super busy time of spring break. The units were full, but you'd never know. It was peaceful, well equipped, close to everything. We walked to the grocery store, Playa Norte, bank, and Hildago was one block. The unit furniture was great, the supplies were more than enough, house keeping was amazing, the people who worked the front desk were so helpful, and overall I just can't say anything negative. The bathroom shower floods quickly. It doesn't drain while the water is running, but drains quickly after you turn the water off. We just propped a towel to keep the water from leaking into the bathroom and kitchen area. It happened quickly with a normal amount of showering time. Also, there's a golf cart rental place on site, which we didn't know and had already rented elsewhere, but we'd rent there next time. They are also building a coffee shop. It looks like it will be nice. We would recommend to anyone. Beautiful place.

This was our first time staying on the Island a Villas San Miguel and it exceeded any expectations. The location, and accommodations were in an excellent area, clean, safe, and close to everything!!! Wonderful! Starting with communication at booking everything from there went so smoothly. All management and staff are so kind and responsive. The unit itself had every small comfort and more than enough supplies to get you started. Of course the location and views from the property are amazing - it so is the proximity to the ferry, grocery, shopping, dining and beach. We can’t wait to go back!

My partner and I stayed for 10 days and I definitely recommend! The room was clean & exactly as pictured; the patio with the ocean view is gorgeous; cleaners came every couple days/as needed; water & beach towels provided; nice kitchen equipped for basic cooking; a few min walk from the ferry; close to the beach & all the Playa Norte action; property host was easy to contact if needed. 10/10 will be back for sure :)

This place offered the must beautiful view of the ocean from the private balcony! Everything about the place was wonderful...the decor, furnishings, the bed/pillows, wifi, housekeeping, air conditioner, etc made it feel like a home. We have nothing at all to complain about. We WILL choose this place every time we stay on the island. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
