A great place for a family reunion in a incredible house. The location is perfect with easy access to Acadia’s Schoodic district bike paths and loop road. I would definitely come back.

This is an incredible property in so many ways. The home is about 15 years old but has been well maintained by it's owners. It really feels quite new. The kitchen is fit for gourmet cooking with all the best appliances and cooking utensils. The location on the coast of Maine's Schoodic Peninsula is remote but a wonderful ferry ride away from Bar Harbor if you want to shop. Our host Kevin responded to all our questions immediately during the stay. We would have loved to stay longer.

The house was perfect for my family of 5 plus a set of grandparents. So much space to spread out and being on the water was amazing. We enjoyed everything this house has to offer inside and outside. Being close to the quieter side of Acadia was ideal and the small town was charming. Kevin and Sonia were very helpful and easy to work with. Thank you!

This home was the perfect place to get away with the family ... beautiful east-facing views, far from the busy-ness of Bar Harbor, yet close enough to visit. Loved the peacefulness of Birch and Winter Harbors. The house had everything you could possibly need and Kevin was quick to answer any questions a/o needs we had. My family loved our Maine vacation, made so much better because of this home. THANK YOU!

The property is nicely secluded so the only noise you hear is that of lobstermen pulling out of the harbor to retrieve their catch of the day. Within a short drive are some of the most stunning scenic views and great hiking and biking trails. This was a welcome and exceptional variation from our Midwestern home. The home is great, and fights not to be upstaged by the spectacular surroundings. Wonderful experience for us.

We booked this property for a multi-generational family get-away to celebrate our daughter who graduated from College during COVID. We wanted her to feel celebrated because she did not get an in-person graduation. This location worked like a charm. My 85 year old mother and I enjoyed "plein air" painting from the gazebo with the gorgeous view. The graduate herself spent most of her days on the smooth granite rocks along the shore. We brought our bikes and my husband led a group around the Schoodic Peninsula trail which is breathtaking!! The house is actually located on the Schoodic bike trail which is much nicer than some of the more populated parts of Acadia. The scenery rivals any other in the world. At days end we congregated in front of the two-floor granite fireplace and played games or read books. The kitchen is perfect for larger families, plenty of room for more than one chef at a time. The owners have been very responsive to each question that has come up and always communicated quickly. I highly recommend Kevin and Sonia's home for your next Maine getaway. House is stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The view is right out of a book. We experienced tons of wildlife. (Bald Eagle, Seal, Turkeys, fish, and deer). It was the perfect location to see the blue moon.

An absolutely stunning setting and a beautifully appointed, spacious house. The hosts were extremely gracious and communicative. We had an absolute blast and can't wait to return! 10/10!!

As a first time visiter to Maine, this property offered a perfect gateway to the state. It's a great home for a group of friends to spend a few days relaxing - great privacy from the tourist crowds in Bar Harbor without being too far removed from the action. Cleanliness and accommodations were first-rate, and we particularly enjoyed the beautifully-equipped kitchen for making family-style dinners each night. Perfect to eat on the deck and watch a beautiful sunset. Would stay again.

Kevin and Sonia are excellent hosts! We had no issues during our stay, but Sonia still checked in to see if we needed anything and to make sure everything went smoothly! The pictures do not do this place justice as it is even more peaceful and stunning in person. We stayed here for my dads 60th birthday and it was incredible. Quiet secluded area in a small town with everything you need. So close to Acadia national park. Thank you Kevin and Sonia!

My wife and I had a great time at this house and exploring the nearby parks. Excellent local seafood, amazing views and hiking nearby. Would definitely recommend.

A very nicely done property - pictures dont do it justice. Very nice common areas, large bedrooms, clean bathrooms, big kitchen and a pantry full of stuff, the outdoor area is amazing with the private beach (rocky but thats Maine), beautiful gazebo, great fire pit and a very large deck. Host was responsive over text. 1 hour away from Bar harbor and main Acadia attractions but very close to Schoodic point which is beautiful too. 3 minor suggestions: 1. Wifi connection didnt work in most rooms outside the living room. Probably need wifi range extenders. It mattered to us since one person in the party had to work. 2. The AC didnt work or wasn't turned on. We changed the thermostat temperature but it didnt change anything. It was unusually hot in Maine in July2020 and there were a couple of hours in the day when we wished for A/C. Living room fan helped. 3. The water pressure in the showers is low. To make matters worse, the shower head in the master bedroom was almost 7.5- 8 ft high - so my wife couldnt reach it and the defualt setting of the shower head was very low. Would definitely recommend fixing this for such a nice house. But overall a great experience and we would rent again.

We had a wonderful few days here. The house is uniquely situated on a beautiful rocky beach. Just watching the tides and changing lighting / weather from the deck or gazebo was an experience- and with the trails of Acadia a stone throw away, great biking and hiking at your doorstep! A truly magical place. Thank you Kevin and Sonia for being great hosts!
