Beautiful property that suited our needs for a large family vacation. We loved the screened-in porch and the large deck. Some of the back deck lights did not work. We were trying to keep the house clean because of all of the sand surrounding the property. We could only find a broom, but no dust pan, and the vacuum did not work very good. The exhaust fan in the upper bathroom didn't work, and it would have been nice if there were some hooks or towel bars to hang bath towels in the shower area. Just a few suggestions; but overall, a very nice property.

The house was very spacious and well kept. Plenty of space to put up a couple air mattresses. Location to the beach was good as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the amenities included with the house. Host was excellent to communicate with, and gave very clear instructions.

Overall location was great, cleanliness good but lacked some supplies or not enough supplied for size of house and number of guests expected. Also could use some upkeep/repair work.

Incredible time to bringing families from 7 DIFFERENT points of view together. All brought a valuable roll and we found our unique niche and offerings.

We enjoyed our trip to Coloma staying at this property. Lots of room for our family. We loved the screen porch and the deck. The house is a short walk to the beach.

Lovely home. Terrific space. Our family of 12 really celebrated! The floors were not as clean as we expected. Sand coated our bare feet & under the beds dust bunnies, etc. Void the above 5 stars undoubtedly. Thank you, Matt

The house the property and the location was amazing! A little disappointed not direct access to the beach but it’s just a short walk away.

Location was perfect. Quick access to beaches and everything we wanted to do including St. Jo. House had an awesome great room for all 11 to hang out together but enough bedrooms and patios to spread out for privacy if needed.

Plenty of space, beautiful setting, great set-up for multiple families.

Having 4 different levels gave each family a sense of having their own space.

location is fantastic - short drives to St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, and South Haven. private beach a few hundred yards down the street was super fun! house is well furnished, clean, quiet even though it's close to a street - lots of tall trees. beautiful mornings and evenings on the back deck. we had 11 people with a couple teenagers and a toddler.

Everything was as described. Easy to get to, clean and close enough to shopping for any needed items. Would stay again.

We rented this house for our family's Thanksgiving celebration. Overall it was plenty of space and pretty well equipped to cook a Thanksgiving meal for a large group. We brought our own casserole pans luckily as there are none provided. The bedrooms and furniture were pretty nice and spacious. When we arrived we noticed that the wifi was not working and were able to quickly get in touch with the property manager to help resolve it. Communication was great however they were not able to resolve it with Xfinity during our stay. Not completely the property owner/manager's fault however they did say that the service was suspended for the season and wasn't reactivated prior to our visit despite having booked weeks in advance. The property could use a deep cleaning, especially the floors. The cleaning crew needs to pay special attention to those for sure. The fan in the living room could use some attention as well. We were not able to get the gas fireplace to work even after some troubleshooting during our stay which would have been nice for the weekend but was not a deal-breaker. The crib in the top floor room is a safety hazard. It's missing some pieces that support the mattress and as such could injure a baby being placed in it. It needs to be removed or repaired as it's a liability for the property owner. We were traveling with an infant and luckily the parents packed a Pack-n-Play so it wasn't a huge issue but definitely needs to be addressed. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I'd consider renting again especially if the above issues were resolved.

This house is absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean and had everything listed. The screened in porch, deck and fire pit are very enticing. I only wish we had warmer weather to enjoy them more. The beds were comfortable and the showers pampering. Garage is roomy. The whole house is outstanding! I am hard pressed to think of deficits other than that there are a lot of stairs, and not many rugs. The coffee cups in the kitchen could be more modern and larger. There is not much outside space for kids to play in and the driveway is steep. I texted the property manager a few times, and she immediately responded. My money was well spent.

Nice big, modern house for a large group but was not cleaned well. The floors were filthy, my kids feet were disgusting - covered black after walking around without shoes on. The carpets are in need of deep cleaning or replacement if stains are unable to be removed. The AC was not getting cold and my husband found the filter was also filthy and had not been replaced in a very long time (this was concerning considering Covid being such a hot topic right now). Because there is so little furniture in the home, sound travels pretty loud. You can hear folks walking and talking on other floors. There were LOTS of dead bugs and cobwebs inside and outside the home. The windows all needed a good wash. The screened in porch was great and the deck was lovely. There is not much to do in the area and you are pretty much a 20 + minute drive from South Haven. All in all, I believe it was highly overpriced for what we got.

This was the beat stocked place we have stayed at. Upgraded kitchen pots and pans, 2 coffee makers, and spices. Lots of room!

House provided the space we needed. We felt secure. Beach access was more difficult than I thought it would be from the description. Sound within the house carried a great deal due to no rugs, no window treatment and no insulation in the inner walls. Suggest adding a few hooks in the bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped, good bath towels, good beds. We had a very nice holiday in the home.

The home came with everything we needed to have a great visit with friends and their children from multiple states. A great secluded beach is just two parks down the road too. Home is split where we could do one family on the top floor, one on the second floor and one in the basement. Skip packing scooters and skateboards for the property though, drive is not paved. Enjoy!!

This house was perfect for our group and what we were looking for. The owners were very easy to contact and all check-in and check-out procedures were clear. The near by beach wasn’t what we had expected, but there were beaches within close driving distance that were great. Thank you for hosting us! We had a wonderful time.

The house is exactly like the pictures on VRBO. A great spot to relax when it’s not great outside!

The house was very spacious. The kitchen was a great size to accommodate our large group. Having the bedrooms and bathrooms on different levels allowed for some feeling of privacy. The bunkbeds, the toys, the utensils, the crib, and the changing table all made this house family friendly. The openness of the kitchen, dining, and family room allowed us to hang out and socialize without feeling crammed into one area. The screened in porch and deck were great. The grill worked well. If your family prefers to cook the kitchen is not stocked beyond bare necessities. The pots were scratched beyond what is safe to use, there was no spatula, there was only a handful of forks and knives, there was only one large bowl. The internet was very slow and buffered a ton. There was a planned power outage due to routine maintenance during the middle of the night that we were not informed of, which would have been nice to know for people who use medical devices that require electricity.The next night we lost power again due to a storm that lasted until mid morning. There was only one small flashlight to use. When the power was out we had no running water. Landscapers arrived to start a small construction project in the front of the house. We were not informed of this either, I had to ask the landscaper what was happening. They brought in a large machine and truck to construct a fire pit. Construction took 1.5 days blocking us in from leaving the house by dumping mulch and dirt in the driveway. It was very awkward to have to ask the landscapers to move so we could leave, feeling like they were annoyed by having to move their truck and stop their work. The landscapers left plastic sheeting in the trash cans, filling them causing our garage to not fit. The fire pit looks nice but the stones to get up to the fire pit get slippery when covered with dirt and sand and the hill is very steep. I asked the property manager if we were allowed to use the fire pit she said yes she was looking for chairs for us to use, chairs never arrived for us to use. Beyond that, the dirt and sand get all over the house even if you take your shoes off at the door. The soap containers left in the bathrooms were 1/3 full, running out throughout the week. Every time the A/C kicked on, the lights dimmed or flickered. We lost power a third time for a little bit while it rained during the day. The basement tub would fill with 6 inches of water while taking a shower. A good place that could be great

The house was great! Lots of room and close to the fun things we wanted to do. We especially liked Silver Beach Park, Rocky Gap Park, and the roadside park near the house. We also went to Holland.

The home was better than expected. Very spacious and clean. Enjoyed the surround-sound in the family room. The wifi is excellent, great connection in the whole house. Lots of windows with an amazing scenery. Management was very quick to respond to our questions. Midnight walks are breathtaking in the winter snow. Want to check this place in the summer with all the trees and the lake which is walking distance.

Could be an issue for kids and pets.-Only twin or Double beds, no king or queens -no yard and no grass. Kids can’t play outside -there is not a view of the water. It’s a short walk to the riverside park.

Overall Space was great, screened in porch and adjacent deck were great, along with roomy common area off the kitchen. Backed to the woods, so very private. There were a few things that could have been provided, or better. Could have better equipped kitchen, no sponge or dish rag for doing hand wash dishes, no flat baking pans or pizza tins, no hand mixer, blender did not work. BBQ grill grease trap over full and didn't get very hot. Not all bathrooms had hand towels and wash rags...there were sufficient bath towels.
