It's such a beautiful property and we all had a wonderful time!

Overall great place. Bedrooms were a little tight & could have used another full bathroom for the amount of people we had. Also more hooks for towels & coats.

Celebrated my partner’s 30th birthday here with friends and it was fantastic! Lots of space and the dogs were having the time of their lives running around in the backyard. Thank you for making this birthday weekend so enjoyable!

Property was as described. Our group enjoyed the privacy and scenery. The pool was a bonus for all ages. Close to hiking trails. Check in/out was easy. Communication with owner was fast. Property was clean. Would stay here again.

The property was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, cookware and dinnerware. There was plenty of room to seat all 12 of us. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and billiards and the fishing ponds were nice. The fire pits and decks, with their ample seating, allowed for plenty of visiting. The only downside was that Internet service was very poor and the Wi-Fi would not connect to the internet, even when the property manager brought a hotspot. Overall, a great stay. We’d stay here again!

The property and house had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The little ones even caught a few fish!

It was a great stay! Lots of land and privacy (except for a few families of deer we saw in the mornings). 9 of us stayed for a long weekend and it was the perfect size for us to be together, but also have enough privacy when needed. I’m pretty sure each bedroom had a tv with plenty of cable channels and a dvd player. The hot tub and outdoor deck was very soothing. My only complaints would be that the water pressure seemed to be lesser than what were used to and the kitchen sink/disposal backed up a bit. 2 things that were“unclear” with us before attending was the bathroom layout and the pool house layout. For those wondering, there is a full bathroom downstairs (shower only, no tub) a full bathroom on the main level and a half bath attached to the room/loft upstairs. Then a full bath in the pool house. The pool house was a BIT further away from the main than I was expecting (like 150 feet away instead of right next to the main house) and the bottom floor is where the pool table and air hockey was, then the 2nd floor had the beautiful apartment which had a small kitchen and large bedroom (even had it’s own washer/dryer).

This a great property for a family weekend. Very nice cabin that’s close to popular hiking trails and was a great winter getaway. We plan on visiting again in warm weather to enjoy more of the activities available in the summer.

The cabin has lots to offer for entertainment for all ages! We absolutely loved everything about our stay!

We loved the seclusion of this property and all the beautiful open land around the cabin. The pool and fire pit were also so nice for our family to enjoy all to ourselves. We had a couple minor issues with the pool and hot tub and they were fixed within hours of contacting the owners. We had an amazing time exploring Hocking Hills too! Highly recommend this place.

We had a great time with our family, had everything we needed and plenty of room. The outside deck area was awesome. Really enjoyed the view/property, pool, game room. We had some issues while we stayed with the A/C but the response was really quick and they provided some window units while they tried to fix the other issues. Really a great response by them bc it was over the 4th of July weekend too. We all look back on this as a great place and experience.

Basically the location was great, the property was clean An overall deep cleaning needed. Especially, the vents.

Our experience at this property was great — a big group of us got together for a weekend away and spent plenty of time by the pool and relaxing off the grid. The property was as expected, and it was nice having a lot of different rooms and bathrooms to choose from.

Our group consisted of 13 people. All family, We had a different house we were supposed to stay in but there was a problem with the air. They reached out to inform us of the problem before we got there and said they had a back up place for us to use. This house was perfectly proportion to accommodate all of us. We were able to eat together and there was a pool table upstairs we could enjoy. We we're able to hang out without feeling cramped. We felt they did a great job of making sure we were talking care of. We would definitely use this company again.

We had a great time just a few things hot tub needs cleaned and comforters need washed

We have stayed here twice and both times have been perfect.

We had a delightful time! On the very positive side, when we arrived on January 14, there was a Christmas tree next to the fireplace. We're still not sure whether that was intentional, because we'd mentioned the reason for our stay, or just coincidence. There were some hiccups, that minimally impacted our grand time, but that we shared with the property manager. Most notably, most bedrooms were VERY cold, despite our efforts to manage the issue. And, perhaps more easily addressed, there were not enough dinner plates for the stated capacity of the cabin.

We had a roach sighting the last day of our stay in a first-floor bedroom. We had issues with several lights not working (Ex. vanity lights in the first-floor bathroom). The washer and dryer worked but a mildew odor was hard to ignore when trying to use the washer. We had a few televisions we had difficulty turning on and an odor in the bath/bedroom/kitchen over the game room in the back house which Febreeze helped make slightly better. The space is amazing, and the trip was wonderful! I would just encourage a few additional things for staff to address prior to each rental to make their stay perfect. Thank you for listening.

The time spent with family is priceless and although a few things like the carriage house was dirty, and we didnt get enough towels as indicated the managing company took care of the situation... everything was great, but just so other renting know, bring seasonings to cook, and do not expect things to be there as standard .... we forgot a ton of stuff and ran out for them... and the most annoying was no ice... we kept running out daily to get ice for our drinks, so please remember that... dishwasher needs to be replaced, so we washed by hand and we would have liked a family room to sit around in the evening without going to lower level as stairs were an issue for a few of us. Overall we did have a great time together which is the most important thing

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Cantwell Prairie! The cabin is very clean and comfortable. It was perfect and spacious enough for our group of 3 households but also cozy enough to gather together for meals and at the campfire. We loved spending time in the pool and hiking the trails on the property! All questions I had prior to our stay were promptly responded to by the owners. We will absolutely be revisiting Cantwell Prairie in the future!

The property was absolutely amazing ! The house was massive with plenty of room for a large amount of guests. Everything you need. So much to do and explore. Never a dull moment.

Love this cabin and the property! Recommendations: more blankets as the basement gets cold, and add some cutting boards.

The cabin was very nice, clean, & had plenty of room for everyone. Location was perfect. We absolutely loved it and plan on coming back!

Exceptional buildings, pool and grounds. Quiet and fun at the same time. Would do it again.

The place was beautiful but we had to clean before unpacking. Everything was very dusty, there was a dried spill inside the microwave and splatter on the cabinets. The mattresses had stains, no protectors and a few had no sheets(we couldn’t find any). The main bathroom had old toothpaste/spit splatter all along the backsplash. The hot tub looked and smelled like pond water even though we were told it was clean and ready. Due to the recent virus, we had all packed disinfectants, but did not think we would have to actually clean before we could relax. I’m horrified that this place wasn’t cleaned properly with or without the world wide sickness. Unfortunately I will not book with this company again.

It was fantastic! The property is absolutely beautiful! The pool was super relaxing! We had stayed there as a senior trip for our boys graduating. There were 16 of us..mostly kids. This property was the perfect setting with the main cabin, pool, hot tub, firpit, yard games etc. it was tucked away remotely however there are neighbors surrounding the big property. Our boys like loud music and they played their speaker in the deck while enjoying the games and hot tub. On our second night we received a noise complain at 8:17pm. Now I understand the music was loud but I thought that was a little wary to be voicing a complaint. The night before we had done the same thing and were trying to be respectful so we turned down the music at 10pm and got no complaints at all! Why the second night? I’m not sure. We did turn down the music and went on with our evening. Other than that, it was an absolute perfect getaway!!
