We recently spent a month at this amazing float home. We cannot speak highly enough about our experience. The home is exactly as represented. It is immaculate and beautifully appointed in every way. Our one request to the Manager was dealt with immediately. We are very happy with every aspect of our stay and I’m quite certain we will return when Vancouver next calls us.

Was an awesome place. I want to live on a floating home - so staying in one for the weekend was a good test. Didn’t disappoint. Close to shipyards, quay and walking path. Everything we needed was there. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our houseboat experience over the Christmas holiday. It was a relaxing and unique space where we enjoyed catching up with family. The views on the Marina were ever changing with the weather, with the Vancouver skyline in the backdrop. We especially loved the 10 minute walk to the quay for groceries and restaurants. Communication with the manager was very easy.

We loved our short stay, easy walking distance to the seabus with kids and very convenient to access North Vancouver tourist spots. The apartment is very well equipped for all needs and the view is awesome. Great communication with property manager.

We very much enjoyed staying on the float home! It is a calm, relaxing and beautiful environment to enjoy Vancouver from. Accessing the city is easy thanks to the nearby seabus. The development of the shipyard district gives the marina a nice extra surrounding. We loved the slight rocking of the float home each now and then. The amenities are good, we didn't miss anything. Would go there again!

Did not disappoint! Beautiful property, location and overall stay. Even the teenagers were impressed, and enjoyed “seal spotting” along the marina docks. Easy to get around, a peaceful and quiet weekend spot. Can’t wait to come back.

Our group of 3 friends had the wonderful experience of staying at this terrific float home for 3 nights! Exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, bright and airy! A real pleasure to stay in such a unique home. A+ location and A+ property manager, Kris and her husband jumped in to help with a small plumbing issue when we arrived that was taken care of immediately. So appreciate every attention to detail!

Convenient location close to Lonsdale Quay, good transportation and nice area close to restaurants. Loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay here! What a unique place! It was close to the SeaBus, which made getting to and from the city super easy. The views were great and any questions we had were answered quickly by the property manager. Overall, what a great way to end our Vancouver vacation!

We loved our stay in this unique, beautiful floating home! The location can't be beat; you can sit on the couch and watch the boats in the marina, the sunrise, sunset, and the city of Vancouver in the distance. We even saw a sea lion swim by. The check in process was very easy, which was great because we didn't arrive until 1 am. We were on the upper level, but never heard the renters below us because the owner has had the floors professionally sound proofed. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked well stocked! And everything is VERY tastefully decorated. Just a treat to stay here. Also, excellent internet and TV options (netflix, etc). Would absolutely recommend this place to a friend and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved the property, easy to walk to restaurants, coffee houses and grocery store. Weather and scenery was beautiful. Only thing that could have made it better was deck on the property. Overall- loved it, and would definitely stay again.

We loved this accommodation. The views of downtown Vancouver skyline beyond the gently swaying sailboats in the marina were amazing. Loved getting gently rocked to sleep at night by the moving tides. The home was clean, comfortable, well appointed. The kayaks were a special and unexpected treat - I kayaked once or twice around the calm marina waters every day, sometimes accompanied by curious sea lions. The location was great - right next to Lonsdale Quay market with great food, groceries, and restaurants and the seabus providing access to downtown and beyond through the skytrain system. We didn't need to use our car at all We'd stay here again for sure!

Our family of four stayed in the upstairs apartment over the course of a weekend, and have an excellent stay. Very clean, comfortable, and parking and entry was easy. Communication with Kris was fast. Would defintely recommend!

We loved the view, the occasional slight rocking and the overall set up. I'd almost forgotten about the Murphy bed and loved the reveal of opening it up. The kitchen had everything we needed and the short walk to Lonsdale Quay meant that we could get anywhere. Oh and we loved the view.

My first time in a floating apartment. A unique and fun experience! Great location: 10 minute walk to a grocery store, good restaurants (check out Joey's) and the water taxi called the SeaBus. I was pleased to find out that there are 5 or 6 brew pubs within a 20 minute walk as well. Score! This is on the second floor. Sometimes the whole apartment can move back and forth a bit. The boat dock/marina is mellow. I only saw two boats coming and going during a three night stay. Also saw a few seals swimming around. There is a great public walking/biking path right outside of the marina as well. I would stay again.

My husband and I agreed that this was probably our favourite vacation rental to date! The location is absolutely perfect - within walking distance to the water taxi, market and tonnes of restaurants. Upon entering the spacious living space, I was blown away by the huge windows with stunning views of the marina! The pictures do not do it justice. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Quiet, clean , lots of amenities and with beautiful views

The houseboat combines all the best features of upscale hotel and waterfront living. It is really well outfitted (including kayaks) and a great location with amazing views of the city and a laid back marina vibe. Harbor seals swimming by in the morning and beautiful sunsets. Kris was extremely responsive to all requests. This will be our choice for any future Vancouver stays.

This is an unique opportunity to stay on a floating home in North Vancouver facing the downtown and very close to the sea bus. There appears to be two properties listed in this one home an upper and a lower unit. We have stayed in both. Both are well appointed. The upper has a bit more living space since it only has one bathroom.

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay at the float home! The view is beautiful and we even saw a seal and her pup swim by in the evening. My 3 teenagers were wowed by the uniqueness of sleeping in a floating house and they loved the bookcase that becomes a bed! They also loved that we could all walk over to explore the Quay Market and Food Hall. The instructions we got from Kris (directions, how to get in, code, etc) were crystal clear and Kris was very responsive to questions. There’s additional information inside the float home which was also helpful. Initially, I was worried the toilet might overflow and sink the house but that is silly landlubber thinking (lol!) and we hadn’t a single problem. We enjoyed our time on the float home and when we retire we are thinking that we will look into something like this…it’s definitely unique!

Everything about this stay was wonderful! Home (upper unit) was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and had everything you could need. Staying in Lonsdale was perfect for day trips to Lynn Canyon, Deep Cove, Bowen Island, Whytecliffe Park, Lighthouse Park... As well as perfect access to Vancouver on the SeaBus! Suite has laundry so pack less than you think you need! Communication with owner and manager was fabulous 🙂 We would happily recommend/stay here again!

Great boat house in excellent North Vancouver location. Great marina view and very secure. An air conditioning unit is badly needed!

Unit manager wasn’t real helpful on several things like directions and things that were broken in the unit such as a window that couldn’t be closed for noise issues because it was broken. Bedding wasn’t up to par for a VRBO unit, unit manager was helpful when we took the key and fob with us. Basically just felt like the unit was overpriced for what it was.

Nothing like staying on a house boat for a few days. Clean, stylish, and a fantastic view. We will be back. Thx!
