The view is amazing! Love that it was super close to the beach. Our fridge went out the first night BUT the owner of the house was very accommodating and super easy to talk to. 10/10 recommend!!

Property is very nice and Gary Greene took care of the one problem we had very quickly. If there is a hard rain water stands in the doorway of the ground floor room which makes it hard getting in the room. The house is very well kept and has everything you need.

Great house and great location. Our family had a wide range of ages and goals, this location and house satisfied them all for a memorable week-long trip!

House was great for me and 12 teens. Plenty of space. The only trouble was the management company gave me a hassle and threatened me before we came about having security all over me, I guess because of the girls ages. That part I didn’t like. I never saw a security guard once.

We did enjoy staying here. It was a nice house and loved the location. But the whole down stairs room and bathroom (on the lower level) had a terrible musty odor and therefore we could not use that bedroom and I even called them to tell them we couldn’t use that room and they did not really seem that concerned or offer to accommodate us for it or offer any money back (and I asked). We paid a good bit for this place! Very disappointing bc our friends (7 people including children) had to be squashed up into two rooms and share one bathroom …that’s not good! That was the whole reason we rented this beach house was bc it was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably! Just disappointed! But inspite of it, we did have a good time, esp loved the location! And it was a nice house, just could have been even better if we had been able to use the whole property!

Lovely home directly on the beach. Plenty of room to be comfortable. Well supplied for kitchen needs. I did need to rewash bath, hand and face towels that were supplied to us because of mildewy odor. Other than that, we enjoyed the home very much!!

What a beautiful house and right on the beach! Had everything you needed. Very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely rent again.

I rented this property for an 80th birthday party for my husband. It was a great success, his kids loved the beach just across the street. The only problem I see is if you have elderly folks make sure they are in good shape as there are stairs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

No issues but weather

Rented this property with my parents, my wife and our infant son. We enjoyed our time at this property as the location is truly spectacular. We spent many early mornings taking in the sunrises, and long hours on the deck reading books and listening to the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach. The building lived up to the photos for the most part. The screens on many of the windows had large holes and the screen door was ripped all along the bottom. There was also a musty smell, but I am told that that is normal for properties by the ocean and we got used to it after awhile. None of the dishes on the property were clean. Many glasses and cups had sand in them from previous visitors. Thankfully the dishwasher worked without issue and it was easy to get enough clean dishes for us to use. The last complaint I have is that when we arrived, the freezer was leaking. The property manager didn't reply to my message to them about it, but the leak went away by the next morning. The problem was probably just that the fridge/freezer hadn't been turned on in awhile to save power and this was just condensation. Still, a reply would have been nice. Overall my family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this property. Being right beside the beach was amazing and the linens, towels and furniture were all clean and comfortable. Some reviews have said the mattresses are too firm, but we thought they were quite comfortable.

We rented this house during the 2nd week of December, and it was perfect for our getaway. The house has an incredible view of the beach, with large decks on the main floor and off of the master bedroom. When it was rainy and we didn’t feel like walking the beach, we could just look out of the large floor-to-ceiling windows and watch the surf. It was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen, and there were TVs in each bedroom. Whenever we had questions, the owner was quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends, especially those with extended family.

This house is in a perfect location, right on the beach behind the dunes. Not a lot of people traffic. Just the local renters and owners and a few visitors. Everyone we encountered was friendly. The house is spacious. What I really liked about the main floor bedrooms was that, although there was one nice-sized bathroom for two bedrooms full of guests, each room had a vanity with a sink and mirror, so you could brush your teeth, do your hair, and the ladies could put on their makeup without having to go into the bathroom. The bottom beds of the bunk beds were either full size beds or queen size. I'm not sure, but they were large enough for two small to medium sized people to sleep comfortably. A family with kids would absolutely love this house! My friends and I absolutely loved this house! We will be back. And the people who work for Gary Green Vacations were extremely helpful. Just a great experience all around.

Beautiful home on the beach. Perfect for our family. We loved it! Enough space we never felt crowded. The house was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely use Gary Greene Rentals again. Very helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. Can’t beat that view!!

All excellently except oven still had oven cleaner in it, ran out of hot water Sat eve and could not get doors locked when we left. Great location and nice house.

Home is a great front row location in Spanish Gant. This no vehicle allowed beach was very clean. The property had all the amenities need for comfortable family get away.

Wonderful and relaxing time with the family. The only thing was there were two can openers and both were broken.

Stayed here with 3 kids under 3 and the location can't be beat! Convenient for parents to tag team if one kid wants to stay out and another wants to take a break inside. Also, try the coffeeshop nearby the Seawall Coffee - yummy!! Couple of downsides - the fourth bedroom is completely separate from the home so you have to go outside and downstairs to access it. LOTS of bugs swarm outside the house door - this is likely just bc you are right there on the beach but sharing so you can be prepared with bug spray! Overall a great stay and time. Thanks!

Proximity to the beach and adequate space made it perfect. Our biggest complaint was that neither of the manual can openers were sharp enough to open cans. Not too bad, huh?

Loved the house and location

Location and view were both perfect! Our entire family of 12 was very comfortable. House was very well stocked with everything we needed. Our only complaint was the A/C was not working when we arrived, which made unloading and getting settled uncomfortable. However the maintenance was already working on issue when we got there, so within a few hours all was fixed. We will definitely be staying here again next year!!

Great location and right on beach! The house if very well equipped. Soaps and shampoos are provided. There’s a great outdoor shower and bathroom. The view is amazing and in a quiet area. Love this place. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is for the firm beds. They are good mattresses but very firm. I did not sleep very well on them, otherwise this place is great!

Great location and view!

The location of this house is excellent. It is ocean front on a private beach and it is close to all of the attractions in Galveston. The house is roomy and comfortable. I do suggest putting blinds on the upper West windows. The sun in the afternoon flooded the living area and made it quiet warm. Also, a drain stopper for the bathtub would be very good. One person in our party has a bad back and needed to soak in the tub which was impossible. Other than that, the house is great.

Love the house and location on the beach. It was perfect! Our family stays at a Galveston beach home several times a year. We would definitely be interested in returning to this home.

The location of this property can't be understated. It's just enough outside the main drag in Galveston that it feels a bit more remote and quiet, but not too far that the drive is inconvenient when you want to return to Gavleston for activities or dining. I only marked down the accuracy of the listing slightly because the exterior of the house has been painted recently so we weren't sure we were at the right place originally. Other than that everything was as advertised. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Perfect location for a girls trip!

My family and I recently returned from our weekend celebrating my birthday at this beautiful beach house. The house is beautiful, clean, and right on the beachfront! It has a nice balcony to watch the sunset, sunrise, and feel the breeze of the ocean. The view is spectacular!! I will definitely book this vacation home again!
