We would absolutely stay here again. The views and the location and the size would be challenging to beat. The Penthouse has everything you could need. We are a family of 9. 6 adults and 3 kids and we appreciated the layout. The unit would benefit from a deep purge and a refresh. The pillows are well past their prime. The unit is dated and things inside are as well. There wasn’t a single sharp knife in the house (It’s quite dangerous actually). There is much repair needed and things like lighting etc. A few minor things like that. Nothing that would keep us from staying again. Just a note to bring a pillow and a sharp knife.

fantastic views

This is the third time we have rented out this place. It is located right in the smack of downtown and has an amazing view of the town and sea. It is very spacious and has lots of room to host small parties and dinners. Even though the penthouse is a bit dated, it still has charm and sophistication. It has a giant bonus room if you have kids and teenagers and is so roomy you don't feel intruded if others are staying there. For older people the stairs may be a bit much as the elevator only goes to second floor and you have to climb a few flights. I would highly recommend this place and plan on renting it again when I come to town.

Beautiful views of the bay and the bed were comfy and game room for kids was excellent. Kitchen was well equipped. Parking was easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay

We loved this place! We were a little leery at first, as you enter into an office building and it seemed like a strange set-up for a vacation rental. But, we walked in, went up the stairs to the main floor and were knocked-out by the view! There is about 40' of windows overlooking one of the harbors in Sitka, out towards the ocean and the mountains as a backdrop. So dramatic and beautiful! The place itself was huge with 3 bedrooms, a game room/theater room, 2 very nice bathrooms (a huge tub) and a well stocked kitchen. Great layout and great location while visiting Sitka.

This was a beautiful property with amazing views.

We stayed several weeks at this property & enjoyed both the convenience of the location and the wonderful views of the Harbor out the huge span of windows. This was by far the shining asset of this property. All of our visiting guests loved enjoying the 2 sitting areas which look out over the Harbor. This is a very comfortable property with plenty of seating areas, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large TV rec/room which includes a foosball table. The kitchen includes plenty of dishes, pots & pans, microwave, double oven, Coffee maker and a dishwasher. In addition there are some cabinets stocked with some basics like sugar, spices, a few canned goods etc. The owners provide coffee and tea as well. There is plenty of hot water & water pressure, the washer and dryer work fine and is a nice convenience. This is not the Ritz Carlton, but a very comfortable home that is easy to relax in and enjoy while you explore the Sitka area.

This place is huge! We had 4 people (it can accommodate more) staying here for a fishing charter and we all had our own spacious rooms, this place has a huge kitchen and many places to lounge and enjoy the view. This is steps to shops, bars and harbor.

Comfortable for all. Bonus room was fantastic for the kids to escape to, location was the best in town.

We had a wonderful time staying in the penthouse! The views were amazing! We got to watch eagles and sea lions from the living room and front porch. It was a perfect location for our group of 10, which included 4 kids. The kitchen was very well stocked and it was great to have two full bathrooms plus the game room. (The only minor complaint was that there was not enough laundry detergent for our group to do more than 2 loads). We would highly recommend this location to anyone with a large group staying in Sitka!

This property was PERFECT for our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). It was in the heart of Sitka- many activities walkable from the property! We spent every night on the balcony enjoying the million dollar views of the harbor- there was even an eagles nest across the street! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can enjoy the same views from the inside of the property as well! The kids loved the entertainment room (foosball and a huge TV). Getting a cab or taking the bus was very easy- so we did not need a car. This property made our stay in Sitka so easy and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip!! The pictures online do not do it justice- Huge property with the best views!

Outstanding property and location.

This penthouse was the absolute PERFECT location for a bridal party and to host guests. The pictures don’t do it justice, the penthouse is HUGE! Plenty of space and an absolutely splendid view to gawk at while drinking morning coffee. The central location to downtown made life easy. The property manager was kind and very helpful!

This property is conveniently located near the best restaurants and attractions in Sitka. The spectacular view of Sitka Sound and surrounding orographic highlights from the living spaces and balcony are a daily treat, and quite frankly never gets old! The rooms are spacious allowing for all guests to spread out and relax. When the time comes to dine together or play together the kitchen/dining room and entertainment room are beyond adequate...they are inviting! Access is easy and an elevator or stairs up to the penthouse are available. Parking across the street is no hassle! My only critique is the marginal internet stability.

Room for everyone to be comfortable, stunning views, and the perfect location make this property a win for all. We will most definitely be back!

Eight friends stayed at the penthouse with a day of deep sea fishing and a day exploring Sitka. The penthouse is in a perfect location to access everything Sitka has to offer. It has beautiful views of Sitka Sound, and ample room for eight adults.

Our family had a wonderful time. The view is amazing. We had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. The number of spices in the cupboard made cooking very easy.

Couples exploring Sitka were interested in a spot where we could all stay and enjoy the beautiful views. The penthouse checked all those boxes. Many times we would wake up in the morning and just sit for hours watching sea lions and looking for whales in the harbor.

Loved this property. It is spacious and in a great location. Our contact was very helpful and available whenever I needed something.

We had a problem with television but the owner responded within 15 minutes. Though only my grandchildren watched tv the owners were right there. I would recommend this property to anyone

Was a perfect location for our event. It has a very open and large kitchen/living room area that was more than enough space for our group. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with all cook wear needed for any size group. Thank you for such a great space!

Crew and I were in Sitka for work. This place is spacious for all to have privacy but, plenty of space to hangout comfortably to meet and talk. I will definitely stay here again when in Sitka.

This is a truely a great place. Views are everywhere and some of the best water, mountain, and Southeast Alaska widelife viewing available. This small town has a lot to offer with great history and wonderful mountains. Fishing is plentiful and easy to reach...hiking is out of this world. Plus, there is a bike shop in the bottom of the building. The Penthouse is 5 star. Has everything that you would need and is new and really, really clean. We had our extended family there; first with 4 for a few days and then it extended to 9. At no time was there not enough room and everyone was extremely comfortable. The best was GrandMom's cooking and not needing to run out to eat for every meal. We had 3 childern and they were not bored for one minute with all the t.v.'s and room to play. We would recommend this to anyone. From 1 to 10 people...at approximately 4,000 square feet it sure is 1000% better than a hotel room. Enjoy! We sure did.

Our stay in Sitka and at the Harbor Heights was wonderful. The penthouse is truly beautiful with views of Sitka and Sitka Sound that can not be written into words. We stayed here with our family [7 people] in total comfort. Everything is super clean and appears to be all new. The kids had room to play and us "Big People" had more than our own space. The views of Eagles flying pass the balcony is something that we will never forget. The city of Sitka and the outer areas have some of the most beautiful sights in the world. Why anyone would stay in the small rooms of an Alaskan hotel instead of a place like Harbor Heights is beyond me. We will recommend this Penthouse to our friends...100%.
