The house was perfect for our group. The beach was only accessible at low tide, but the view was fantastic. We had a great time.

Cleanliness was very poor, broken and rust on doors, overhead fan not operating, maintenance person came in, could fix issues, stated he would return next day to fix issues and never returned

We truly loved that this home fit our family and all of their needs. The kitchen facilities were amazing. However, the bathroom need updating.

Easy to book, check in and out. This home was more than we expected, 3 story home with oceanfront views and a private beach. Large beautiful kitchen fully st ones with everything you could ever need. Counting the days until we return.

There were 2 rooms that had broken windows meaning a huge gap to let in the cold air .. we were staying at this property when it was windy and cool! We were also planning on having our children play with the fosball game that was pictured in the house on the website but when we arrived there was nothing! So needless to say the kids (& parents) were all disappointed

The floors were all very gritty, and the overall feel was not very clean. The bath tub downstairs has bleach stains in it which made me feel gross giving our boys a bath down there. Also, we showed up at 2:00 & the cleaners did not finish until almost 2:30.With how much you guys charge to check in early, I would expect the cleaning to be done on time. So that was really disappointing. It was raining that day too so we were all stuck outside after a very long drive waiting for them to finish. Not cool. Also, the very downstairs bedroom on the bottom floor leaks water from the outside REALLY bad. I have pictures. Lastly, not having cable is disappointing too. It would be nice to have cable to be able to watch live sports instead of trying to stream. Overall, we had a great vacation but I'm not sure we would stay at this particular property again.

On arrival the house was not ready. We waited 2 hours for remodeling crew and cleaners to leave. When we able to enter, to our horror, we discovered that the key feature of the home, the beautiful master bedroom and en-suite with a private sunroom, had been remodeled into FOUR small bedrooms, NONE of which had an en-suite bathroom. The new small bedrooms were without nightstands and closets. Instead they were equipped with a basic clothes rack! Bizarrely, the walls between some of these bedrooms were just the original external windows, compromising both privacy and comfort. The ONLY indication we were given that there had been a remodel was a call the day before we arrived, saying that the sunroom had been turned into an extra bedroom, and “apart from that, everything is exactly the same”. The remodel was unfinished, floors were liberally splattered with paint, door handles were missing, one bathroom had exposed drywall as it had not been tiled, some smoke detectors still had construction tape in place, rendering them useless.The customer service throughout our visit was lacking. We raised concerns about some electrical and lighting issues in the house, but our calls were not returned.We were also promised a commercial settlement for the misrepresentation of the property. VRBO advised us that the property should have been removed from the listing during the remodeling, then re-listed with the new specifications. VRBO opened a complaint against the property management company, Beachfront Only, and is now representing us in the matter as our calls requesting compensation to Beachfront Only were not returned. In summary, the Oceanside location is very pleasant, but the remodel had clearly created a number of issues which need to be investigated and addressed prior to any subsequent guests, these include a number of safety issues which we will report directly to VRBO. Our entire party was very disappointed that Beachfront Only had misrepresented this property and therefore mismanaged our expectations.

The property is well equipped and ready for cooking and basically you can feel right at home. Watch out for the cell phone service, it was barely working at the house and only at certain spots and the DSL internet was basically not usable. The layout of the house is a bit misleading, the 4th bedroom is really a den and unfortunately you have to go through it on the way to the lower deck and the back yard.

This property was beautiful. Although, the house was warm when we arrived. at first the maintenance man came and the unit was broken, he tired his best to fix but It was 85 degrees and I would have liked to come in to a cool home to relax, as we all know a 3 story home doesn't cool down quickly. All electricity was on a timer and during the night we had to get up every four hours to turn on the timer for A/C unit. There was also spider webs all over the porch and outside area. We also had a mouse in the kitchen, while I was having a chef prepare dinner for our party. The maintenance man did come and put out traps but as you know the mouse wasn't going to come out while people are there. it eventually was caught by my hired chef in the cabinet. With that being said we had to wash everything in the cabinets prior to use. I felt I did more talking to maintenance people regarding AC unit and critters than I did relaxing and enjoying myself. I would love some sort of compensation for the inconvenience..

Master bed fan w/light was on when we arrived and didn't think much of it until bedtime. There was no way to turn it off and we realized the pull cord was missing. After searching,we found someone had pulled it off and hidden it in a drawer. Because it was after hours, we could not get maintenance there until the next day. We had to improvise and get on a table and chair and unscrew the light and bulbs in order to turn light off. 2. The doorbell is not properly installed and very sensitive. The bell went off at 11:30 at night and we were very afraid. The next morning we realized that if you just brush your finger over it, it goes off. 3. The double doors to the courtyard do not lock. 4. The door to the 2nd floor balcony only locks from the outside, which is only access to beach from the house. 5. The garage can only fit a tiny short car. It was almost impossible to park in.

It's true... none of us wanted to leave - ever. We are from SF Bay area and needed a family getaway at warm beach, drive-able distance (for Covid safety) in VERY nice house with fantastic view - we got exactly what we needed. We planned our trip months ago but timing was great as we got away from fires and smoke here in Nor Cal to the beautiful clear air in Oceanside, lovely weather, great beach and luxurious house. We had only 6 of us (all adults) plus our dog, which worked out perfectly. The house has so many levels and spaces...great to all be together but also worked very well for privacy when needed for those doing Zoom work calls or just in need of some quiet time. One area not shown in web pics is the front courtyard. This space was great for barbecue (close to kitchen) plus just plain lovely with succulent garden and privacy from street. We also found the neighbors and people on the beach to be fun and friendly even with beach access next to house. This access actually gave us a bit more space between houses so was a net plus we thought. We will be back for sure...thank you for sharing this bit of paradise with our family.

The home definitely lived up to everything we'd read about, and more. We were very happy. Only a couple of points I'd like to make.... communication between property management and service workers was poor. We had workers show up at the house at 8am both days we were there. Both sets of workers said they didn't realize the home was occupied. Very frustrating. And, the home was next to a public access path from the street to the beach. So, there were many many people all day long walking down the path and looking over our fence. Our "private" beach was not so private.

Overall, we had an enjoyable family outing. However, the property needs some repair and the listing needs to be very clear that the ground level does not have interior access to the rest of the property...not good. The property management folks were very good to work with...that's a plus!

This is the fifth time we have experienced a vacation rental with Beachfront properties, and the third time at this specific location. For our group of 15, multi-generation of ages from 15-86 years old; this home provided something for everyone to enjoy. We especially enjoyed that there were numerous room/areas for all of us to gather together; from the courtyard as you enter the home, to the kitchen/living room to the 2nd floor patio and the private beach area with fire pit. In addition, we had plenty of room to spread out and more than enough beds for everyone. There is also gorgeous views of the beach and sunsets from all three levels of the home. If there is one thing that would have been great to have, it would have been another bathroom w/shower. Although we managed with the 3 full bathrooms with shower and 1/2 bathroom w/o shower. It would have been convenient in the mornings when everyone got up. But it was a minor issue that we were able to navigate. The staff has always been very professional, attentive and responsive with any and all questions and I would highly recommend Beachfront vacation rentals; and our family‘s preference of this home with the private beach backyard.
