We really enjoyed our stay at Carolyn's beach home and would definitely come back. The location is awesome - right on the sand on the bay where it's warmer, calmer and way less crowded than the beach side. It's also walking distance to lots of great restaurants and coffee shops (Olive Cafe, Buzz Coffee, Molly's, The Mission, Rosaraia, Pizza, etc). The condo is spacious and has a good layout for a large group/family and is well stocked with everything you need to cook and play, including a kayak, a couple beach chairs, a SUP, etc. We just stepped outside and played for hours on the beach each day and could even let the kids go out there on their own and watch them from the deck. Communication was great. Any time we had a question Carolyn got back immediately and was super helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars overall is that it's a bit outdated and had some cleanliness items that made it so I couldn't give it 5 stars. There are cracked tiles in the kitchen, the bathrooms are outdated (but totally functional), the area above the stove vent hadn't been cleaned in forever and there were marks and stains on some walls (but all the stuff that matters was very clean...and I know Carolyn will address those few items). That being said, I kind of like that it isn't perfect because I wasn't worried about my kids messing up a pristine, new remodeled condo. Overall, I would definitely go back. Thanks so much, Carolyn!

Good location within walking distance to many recreational activities and to restaurants. Fun toys in the garage. We parked 2 Palisades on the outside parking and had to park our third car on El Carmel because the garage is pretty small and won't hold a car and the kayak and paddleboard.

We absolutely loved staying here. The view was wonderful and the condo had everything that you would possibly need. It is a great location, my 7 year old loved being able to walk to the ocean with his folks. We definitely would love to return. Carolyn is a great host and was responsive to a couple of questions Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful condo.

We have stayed in this condo multiple times and it is our favorite VRBO in Mission Beach. Plenty of space for our family of five and plenty of parking for our large SUV. The views and ocean breeze can not be beat. Carolyn is also incredibly responsive and accommodating to all needs. We can’t wait to stay here again!

We found the perfect place on Mission Bay!! Our family fit comfortably and truly enjoyed all this condo had to offer. The condo is the perfect location with easy parking and access to restaurants and activities. We miss the views from the balcony and dining room! We’ll definitely be back.

This was a perfect place for the family. The location on the bay side was quiet and safe yet minutes walk to the ocean. Easy access to rent some water tots. The condo was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Caroline was very responsive! We had a fabulous vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo! Location is what really sells it! Plenty of room for 6 adults to not trip over each other. A/C was ok, many fans were available and made it comfortable. Inside is dated, but we weren’t there for the inside! Internet was a struggle and I had work I needed to do, so that is something to note if needed. Overall, I highly recommend!

This property is in a great location and meet all our expectations. One small hiccup with parking a large SUV but Carolyn took care of it. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is perfect. On the beach, walk to fun dining, and close to grocery store. Everything for an enjoyable stay is provided. The only downside is parking. There was enough for us but not for visitors. We would love to come back.

The condo had plenty of space for us and our 2 kids. Could easily for a large family with the different beds. Location was walling distance to plenty of spots to eat and direct access to the beach was great. We were hoping for a few beach chairs or other items to take to the beach but the kids had a great time with the few sand toys available. Only complaint is that the beds were pretty worn out and not the most comfortable.

Rental was perfect for our family of nine. Clean and convenient to beach, boardwalk, and ocean. Weather was great. Our grandkids loved their first ocean experience. Highly recommend property.

Carolyn's beautiful Mission Bay home was the perfect place for our family vacation to San Diego! It's within walking distance of the coffee shops, restaurants and shops of the Mission Boulevard strip. Our grandkids played on the sand of Mission Bay directly in front of our deck, and we could take a short stroll across the street to the ocean beach to play in the waves. The house is exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a relaxing time together. We intend to return to the southern California sunshine and Carolyn's place again!!

We had a great vacation at this property. Owner responds quickly to our questions. Property has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Can't beat the views! Also, the condo is much bigger than how it appears on the pictures, we were expecting small spaces but were surprised by the size. Wish we were still there.

We had the very best time staying at this condo…it has all the space you need and the location can not be beat..the Bay outside the door and the ocean a two minute walk! Carolyn is the most gracious host and so easy to work with. We can’t wait to return!

Wife, adult kids, and I had a great time staying at this condo right on baywalk. Lots of space to gather but enough bedrooms and den for everyone to have private place to sleep. Big dining room with beautiful view. Private outdoor patio. Walk right out to grass and sand. And easiest place we've stayed to park large SUV!

Wonderful stay. Attentive and friendly host. Place had some material discrepancies, but were quickly addressed by host. Plenty of room. Great location. We loved staying here.

Carolyn’s place is in a great location on Mission Bay and only two blocks from the beach. The condo has great views of the bay and great people watching! Well equipped with everything you need. Since we have a full-size pick up truck, it was important to have a big enough place to park, which was safe. This place had a perfect parking place that was easy to get in and out of with room to spare.

Perfect location for our family. We have young grandchildren and quiet bayside location works best for us. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The condo was roomy with plenty of storage. The parking which is always a problem in Mission Beach was great. One roomy outdoor space and a garage large enough for a CRV, three bicycles three surfboards, a wagon and various other beach equipment.

We had a small family reunion for my three daughters, their husbands and three grandkids. The property was terrific. Being right on the bay was perfect for the kids and having the ocean only a short walk away was ideal. We would definitely go back.

Was on a family vacation and this place was perfect for us. We enjoyed being on the boardwalk and beach and close to everything.
