Our first trip to the island. Casa de Jaguar was perfect for our group of 8 (4 couples)The casa is beautiful, clean and easy access by golf carts to everything. The pool is amazing & we took advantage of it. Our house manager,Armin, was truly a gem to work with. He took great care of all our needs, from showing us the island to booking golfcarts, taxis and a great day on a boat. He answered all our questions and directed us to things to do & places to eat. Lovely casa with the best view! House was clean and was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Grounds were well cared for and there was plenty of room for our family of nine! Armin was great and met us when we arrived with fresh Ceviche, Guacamole, and Pico de gallo. He arranged a shuttle to and from the airport and arranged golf carts for us to use while we were there. He also gave us a tour of the island! Thank you, Armin! We ate the best food and had the most delicious drinks. Fresh mangoes and coconuts from street vendors. Definitely loved all of the food, but standouts are Rancho Capricho, Green Verde, Rinconcito Kahlo, and the Mango Cafe. Overall, our experience couldn't have been better and we are already planning another vacation to the Casa de Jaguar!

Our stay at Casa de Jaguar was absolutely above and beyond all of my expectations! We were greeted by the amazing house manager, Armin, who prepared fresh ceviche and guacamole upon our arrival! He also was able to arrange golf cart rentals for us, which were all ready to go at the house when we arrived. The house is absolutely beautiful. It is just across the street from the ocean, with breathtaking views. Extremely clean, which I am very particular about. We spent so much time just hanging out at the pool and enjoying everything. There are also cute restaurants and bars just a short drive away. I need to give a big shout out to the house manager, Armin. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best stay ever! Thank you so much for such a memorable stay and we will be back soon!

From the moment we booked this place we were greeted with hospitality. The house manager took care of everything we asked for. Advise going through him for all your needs. Airport shuttle to ferry. Golf cart rental. Massages on site and a catered meal to end your stay. Everything was fabulous.

We loved everything about this property. It really is perfect.

This property was so much better in person! My initial conversation with the owner was amazing and genuine and she gave us people's numbers for transportation, tickets for the ferry, and the name of the property manager, Armin! Armin texted me in advance to make sure we arrived ok and made sure to make it easy for us to get to the house. There were zero hiccups and he was there waiting for us! After traveling by cab from the ferry to the house, we walked in to some fresh guacamole and salsa prepared by Armin and such an amazing house. The bedrooms were all huge and each bathroom was a walk in shower and huge as well. The pool is something out of a dream and we hung out there a couple days to rest from the music festival we came from! The roof has amazing views! Armin arranged a golf cart for us, took us to the grocery store, showed us some good restaurants, and basically made every single thing easier for us. His colleague Andy was also a source of great help! Armin arranged private massages out by the pool at the house and took care of all of the details for us. He introduced us to some fantastic tequila and recommended some fantastic places on the island. (the owner also had many recs). I can't say enough about this house and I plan on returning one day and have already recommended this house to everyone who asks about my pictures! This is a hidden gem! Perfect for an entire family! I imagine Christmas would be a perfect time to visit here! Don't pass this up! Gwen, Armin, and Andy made sure our girls week was perfect and we are so grateful to them for the thoughtful gestures! Just amazing! Casa Jaguar is a real treat!

I loved waking up to a view of the gulf every morning! Casa de Jaguar did not disappoint! It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the North end. Would definitely stay again!

The property is spectacular. Armin the property manager is a ROCK STAR ! Armin made sure everything went perfectly. Golf cart rental, directions, recommendations, Armin took car of everything. We will return soon, great property, but Armin creates the loyalty. We consider him our Isla "go to" Thank you Jaguar and ARMIN !

The Casa de Jaguar was an amazing experience. The house is amazing with great decor, heated infinity pool and everything you need. The best part of the experience is the man who cares for the house and it’s guests. Armin is always a phone call away and willing to do everything to make your experience incredible. The property is fantastic with every amenity you might need for a relaxing vacation on Isla Mujeres. Large rooms + bathrooms with a big kitchen and living room. The pool is the main feature of the house as it's a heated luxury looking out into the ocean. The house is located about 15 min from the northside/port, the house manager is incredibly thoughtful and helpful for any situation. Love the rental and would look forward to another stay!

We absolutely loved staying at Casa de Jaguar during our recent visit to Isla! The house was beautiful - very clean and had all the supplies we needed - plus more! Armin, the house manager, and Gwen, the owner, were extremely helpful in helping plan our trip and travel arrangements prior to and during our stay. We cannot wait to come back and stay at Casa de Jaguar!

Everything was delightful. The house really was something with exceptional views. Pool and patio was a favorite to everyone. 100% would come but but it is a ways to north beach and downtown. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the south end. Thank you! What a beautiful stay

The owner - Gwen was very accomodating with her directions and help.Only negatives are:Need back up plan with electricity goes out.Internet speeds very low - not a place to do business.Be careful of the crime and drinking while driving the golf carts. ( Had issues)Two bedrooms are upstairs which was Perfect for us with older children, Two where on the main level where my grandchildren stayed. Was awesome to take care of them while parents were upstairs. Overall the quality, view, pool were outstanding!Enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

Casa de Jaguar was amazingly serene. The house was so clean, the location ideal for quiet days and nights, and the pool!!!! With our group of 4 couples, we had more than enough room to roam in the house and outside by the pool. We cooked a few meals in the nicely equipped kitchen, although we did eat many meals in local restaurants as well. (Javi’s Cantina, Madera and Kin Ha we’re by far our favorites) It was a wonderful location, with every possible amenity, and we would highly recommend that you plan your visit soon! And you may want to plan a spectacular evening at home with Javi (from Javi’s Cantina in town) cooking for your group!!! That was a true highlight of our trip to Isla Mujeres! Thank you Gwen for the perfect vacation spot at your home.

Amazing house, awesome private pool! Perfect for 4 couples! We only had three couples, each had their own space...bedroom, bathroom and shower. Sunrises are beautiful. Spent most days in the pool after we bought floaties. The power was down two of the days; which put a damper on our ice supply and blended drinks. We text Armin and he told us it would be back on in two minutes....over four hours later we gave up and left. Other than that, it’s going to be very hard to find another house on the island compareable! This was one of the couples second stay at Casa De Jaguar. Polo Mangos...best breakfast!! Fuego de Mar....best dinner!

My family of 7 loved this house during our stay from February 1-9, 2019. Gwen was wonderful to work with before and during our stay. She didn't get sick of the millions of questions I had for her. That said, I would recommend anybody with a family group to stay at Gwen and Fred's lovely home. The house has 4 very well appointed bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There are chairs for lounging by the pool and all the modern appliances in the kitchen. The housekeeper came during our stay and it was nice to come home to a clean house after spending the day at Captain Dulche's Beach club. Armin,the house manager was a blessing. My son's mother-in-law from Equador came on this trip with us and she wanted to make fish. I asked Armin about where we could get fish and he brought us two huge red snappers freshly caught. Maria cleaned and prepared the fish and my sons grilled them. It was outstanding and probably the best meal we had the whole time we were on the island. There is plenty of room to spread out so you don't get on each other's nerves. Lastly we took Gwen's suggestions for some places to eat on the island. I loved the Chili Relleno at Basto's Grill. I highly recommend Fuego de Mar. The chefs at this restaurant were awesome. We went to North beach a few times and it is less expensive than Captain Dulche and Zama Beach clubs but the beach at Zama was awful so I don't recommend this place. Captain Dulche was great but really expensive for what you get. At any rate, I will definitely try and come again to this house especially if I bring my extended family. The house also makes for a great two family retreat as the two bedrooms upstairs are large and the view is fantastic. Every bedroom locks so there is plenty of privacy. By the way if you were ever worried about security on the island don't even let it be a factor. Gwen provides locks not only to every bedroom but to the safes in each room, to the screen doors and hardwood doors and to the front gate. A real fortress!! My highest and best rating goes to Casa de Jaguar.

We had an absolutely wonderful family vacation ! Casa De Jaguar is absolutely stunning the house is beautiful and the pool was a great temperature not just for the kids but for us adults too ! Armin was alway available for questions and help we even asked about where to get a piñata and to our surprise when we got home he had delivered 2 to us !! the grounds are beautiful and well kept ! Casa De Jaguar is a lovely home we can't wait to come back !! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us !!

The view from the house and pool to the Caribbean was amazing. The house was not only beautiful but it accommodated everyone perfectly. The manager’s services was impeccable and welcoming. We’ve been going to the island for about 20 years, first time to VRBO, at Casa Jaguar. Couldn’t have picked a better house for our little family reunion.

Convenient, very clean, and Armin was most hospitable in meeting our specific arrangements, including golf cart rentals.

This house was perfect. We felt like rick stars. Armin set up transportation before hand the golf carts were waiting for us at the house and much cheaper than what we would have paid of we got them. I will rent this house again every time I go back.

The pictures do not do this home justice! We were greeted by the house caretaker, Armin, with cervezas, chips, salsa, & guac...he did not disappoint from there. The home is in pristine condition, décor is spot on, the rooms are very comfortable, the purified water jugs in every room were very convenient, and the house is extremely secure. There are locks for every single door and floor which makes you feel very safe. The upper bedrooms were like their own apartment, secluded from the home. You actually take an outdoor set of stairs to the upstairs room which was kind of nice for added privacy. Would love to return to this home! It is about a 15 minute golf cart ride to the downtown area. Highly recommend breakfast at Mango Café - get the stuffed poblano!

Casa de Jaguar was a great place to spend our Memorial Day weekend. The home is beautiful and in a great location, and Gwen was very helpful in getting everything organized. Can’t wait to come back!

What a private piece of paradise. We were 4 couples, friends for years, who so enjoyed the layout of this Casa. There was room everywhere for all of us - 8 people could sit inside at the table and outside as well. There were pool chairs and lounges for everyone and what a kitchen, fully equipped with everything. And when we wanted space away from the group, we were not disappointed. Armin and his staff are outstanding. He arranged for Chef Ziggy to come and prepare a private dinner for our two guys celebrating birthdays and we enjoyed him SO MUCH, he came back for an encore. Check out his new restaurant Mala Hierba!

We took our 3 adult children and their significant others over the Christmas holiday and everyone had a wonderful time. The house was great and had plenty of room for people to either gather together or spend some quiet time alone. The master suite was very roomy and given that my husband and I work everyday, it also afforded a desk and area to do that. The upstairs suites were very large and the young adults thought it was great. Those two rooms had fantastic views of the ocean. The kitchen was very well stocked...there wasn't anything we were lacking for our family meals. We had Armin, the house manager, get us a golf cart for the week and the kids took that to go exploring on the island. The pool was beautiful, warm, and we all thoroughly enjoyed that. My husband and I rarely left the house while the kids would go exploring. None of us wanted to leave. Gwen was very good to work with before hand and was very accommodating . This was the first of many family holidays that we'll spend in Mexico. We are also thinking of renting this house again with friends.

We've stayed at Casa de Jaguar multiple times and the house and island never disappoint! This year we experienced the perk of the house having its own transformer. While the rest of our side of the island was without power, we were cool and comfortable with power. It took us awhile to figure out why we had power while everyone else didn't but when we finally read Gwens listing and leaned Casa de Jaguar has its own transformer, we applauded Gwen for her foresight!! We also can't rave enough about Armin. As always, he was incredibly helpful and a joy to be around! We miss him already! Unfortunately for us the house is becoming more and more popular and it's already reserved for the week we'll be in Isla next year. See you in 2019 Casa de Jaguar!!!

Spent the week at Casa de Jaguar in November with 2 other couples. Enjoyed the privacy and setup of the rooms, each with their own key. Each day, we relaxed in the pool. A very unique thing we experienced upon entering this property the first day was a welcome drink, guacamole, and a tour of the home by the property manager! A nice touch after a long day of traveling! I spoke to Gwen via email a few times prior, as well as via phone. She was super sweet and helpful, and got back to me quickly. We will be staying at Casa de Jaguar in the future!

We had a multi-generational trip to IM and Casa De Jaguar. (Ages 3-65). Lots of room for everyone, Armin the house manager was terrific, pool the BEST and location was perfect. We suggest renting golf carts as we had a ball exploring and cruising around the island in the breeze. Thank you Gwen for everything.
