The home was perfect for our family! We were a 3 min drive to the beach parking and fishing was right out the back door - the private pier was amazing and perfect for early morning or night fishing. We caught trout, red drum, sting ray and other types of fish. kThe sunset views from the pier were breathtaking. We took family photos from the pier at sunset. The multiple decks were all connected and came in handy so as to not have to walk all through the home to get to each floor or bedroom. The top deck had new gas grill and was perfect for gathering. Each balcony had nice seating and the middle balcony was connected to the two bedrooms but had private seating areas. The bunk room was small but not an issue because the kids only slept there. The closets are a great size. The kitchen was well stocked and each TV was RokuSmart. The driveway for the home was very steep but fit 3 vehicles just fine. Dollar General, Food Lion, fresh seafood, restaurants, convenience stores were all within 5-15 min away. It was nice to be right between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle. The outdoor shower is not enclosed but was good to get the sand off before going inside. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home! It’s located in a cute and quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are extremely friendly (We met 2 of them). The dock is great. We spent most of our days just fishing away. We were there July 4th week, and we were able to see plenty of fireworks right from the back porch! It is a 3 story home, so there are a lot of stairs. But that didn’t bother us at all. It has plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Jane is super sweet and a very responsive host. So if anything needed attention, which wasn’t much, she was very quick to answer my messages! Thank you, Jane, for opening up your place to us!

We loved our stay at this property. Being able to catch views of the sound and ocean from the top level was a real treat. We really enjoyed the property's soundfront pier, watching the sunset, and staying up late into the evening catching up with family with our water view. The closeness to ocean access was super. The long boardwalks were a little workout, but it was great to be able to have my mother (in her 70's) get so close to the water before having to do battle with walking through sand. This was a great place for our family to connect. . . what a special time we had here!

We enjoyed our stay, the home had plenty of room and everything we needed. The owner was so very nice and helpful. The location is great. Would definitely recommend this home.

Our family had a fantastic time at Jane’s beautiful home. Plenty of space- the pictures are accurate and it’s a perfect set up for a couple of families to get together and not feel crowded. It has all the extras for cooking at home after a day at the beach, and the deck chairs are perfect for post-dinner relaxation. Jane was wonderful to work with - communicative, thoughtful, and quick to respond to questions. Overall, an outstanding beach vacation.

We rented this house for an extended-family vacation. It was perfect for our needs. Some of the family members enjoyed fishing off the dock in the back, and at the beach. The shallow water in the sound was perfect for little kids to explore in. You can walk to the fun park or the beach. The house was nice; and we got lots of exercise going up and down so many steps, and walking down to the dock. The house was clean, and there are lots of extras that you normally don't find in a rental. When we needed some maintenance done, they were there very quickly. E-mails were answered promptly. This is the second time we have vacationed in this home, we love it. There's lot of room, privacy and just very shot drive or walk to the public beach access.

Very nice house for family groups. Great location and views. Comfortable, and with 3 levels, room to spread out. The house is a bit older and has a few very minor flaws, but the price is set right.

All of my family was suppose to go on this mini family vacation, but it didn't work out that way. 4 of my family members did not go., which made it a little sad. The house was beautifully decorated and lots of room. The stairs were al little was to much for me and my husband, Overall it was a great time

This was a great prooerty!! The dock was fantastic, my son fished everyday. Super close public beach parking. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fun time with our canoes and swimming in shallow water with children off the dock. The public beach was as promised: never crowded and always a free shady spot for us to park our car after a 2 minute drive. The house was nice, on top of a hill and top floor spacious, bright. We used the outdoor stair to avoid going through the 1st floor "bedroom" to give those family members privacy. Only downsides: the dryer did not work, but the owner graciously gave us a credit for that and was planning to replace the machine, so that should be fixed. Also, when you are outside, you can faintly hear the gocart track and see bright lights from the minigolf at night, which can detract from the otherwise very peaceful and private location. Otherwise we would have given location 5 stars.

We have rented this property several times. The host is excellent and responsive to your needs. The dock and bay are wonderful for paddleboarding and have great sunset views. Quiet and safe neighborhood.

overall it was a decent place and met our needs. We did have to go buy disposable drain snakes to snake hair monsters out of all the tubs. It would be helpful to mention how difficult it is to get kayaks, or anything else for that matter, to the sound or the beach.

Jane is a great host. The house is perfect for me and my friends. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to several restaurants. I enjoyed hanging out in the dock as did my friends. The house is well stocked and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time! The house was huge and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. I love the pier! Just sitting and relaxing on the pier and balcony was much needed for our busy life. Thank you to our host for sharing your lovely home.

With 2 teens, everyone had their own bed and bath! Clean and convenient. I hope the front door lock is replaced soon and we struggled every single time and would have been out of luck if dexterity- challenged.

We had a great time in Indian Beach. There are fun things to do close by. We were a little disappointed that the local ice cream shop and pizza place were closed during our stay. Over all we had a great time.

The house is in a great place! It has its own personal pier that allowed for us to fish, and I would assume during the summer months a great place to swim and play! The house is three levels with the ground floor being a type of game room of sorts. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and a full hall bath. There were six of us but this home could easily accommodate 8-10 people. The master has this amazing whirlpool. And the top floor is the kitchen and dining/living area. There are 4 full baths altogether and it was certainly a house that gave every comfort of home. It was clean and well kept. I will rent this one again whenever we come back to vacation in the area.

It was an amazing stay even with the down pours. There was lots to do in the house and close to many things.

This was a beautiful home I love the fact it was enough space for my entire family we enjoy the pier behind the house as well as being close to the beach my only issue was the cleaning could have been better inside I’m a cleaning owner and as beautiful as the home is the cleaning team could have cleaned better it was dusty and chips in the couch’s dead bugs by the window and it has nothing to do with the owner we love the home the cleaning crew could be a little more detailed for such a beautiful home. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!! Would love to return!!

Just what we needed to fit our family. The kitchen, dining room and main living area was our favorite, with plenty of room for gathering. Beautiful sunset views. Everything we needed was there. Totally enjoyed it! Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The first-floor entry area carpet was a bit soiled looking, but all the other living spaces were very pleasing and comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to share your house!!

Pros: This house felt large with 3 stories and 2 living rooms. We enjoyed the fishing from the long dock there. The kitchen and main living room are on the top floor. It is a good one to book if you have kids because it is set up for kids and you don't have to worry about your kids making random marks on the walls because there are marks already there from previous guests. Cons: The only negative is the cleaning staff left cigarette butts and a cooked fish out on the top balcony and the whole place could use a thorough deep cleaning.

The house is very welcoming for the whole family. A great location and beautiful views. Not too far from ocean access but a little farther than we initially thought, about 1/2 mile. It was really neat to be right in the middle of the island with easy access to both ends. Very comfortable and all that we needed was there for us. Thank you!
