Great experience! I spent 3 nights and was completely satisfied with my stay. A short walk to the beach and I was also able to enjoy being able to bring my 8 year old Westie Lily. The host went above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need. I will definitely return.

We have been looking for the perfect beach house. And we found it. We love this Oasis. The covered back porch overlooking the sand dunes and ocean was everything we wished for. Didn't want to leave. My husband and I spent a week for our anniversary. Watching the sunrise from the master suite and beach walks were the highlights. Great location. Very clean.

To begin with the cottage was immaculate! The photos really do not do the cottage justice…oh well, how can one show the soothing sound of the ocean and the delightful song of birds. We wanted to rent a place right on the beach where our poodle could join us and I must say…it was a wonderful place to spend family time. The cottage is colorful and full of the owners charming art work. The beach is just a short walk on the walkway that protects the dunes. And the beach…. I have never seen a more inviting beach for long walks on soft, white sand. The town is just a short drive and provides lots of interesting restaurants and shops! We had the luxury of spending 3 weeks at this fabulous cottage and look forward to returning!

We enjoyed our stay. Sat on back deck and walked the beach. Enjoyed seeing the Gopher Turtles and rabbits. Got some beautiful Sunrise pics. Pretty much all necessities were provided.

Very comfortable and really appreciated how well stocked it was with towels, soaps, paper towels, good utensils and dish ware etc. Absolutely wonderful to walk down your properties walk way to the beach.

We had such a good time,went shopping ate at some great restaurants and the beach was fantastic!! We wil definitely go again!!

Great location, Great property Close to beach and eating places

My daughter and I stayed in the one bedroom unit three years ago and rented both units this time so we.could bring more family members. Both units are spotless and well-appointed. We found anything we could ever need and more! The outside areas are beautiful and very conducive for family gatherings. We ate together outside every evening. Brenda is a true artist and her art is shared throughout both units. We will definitely come back!

Everything was just as described on VRBO. Very clean, and spacious. We felt right at home! Well stocked for linens, towels, cooking utensils. Washer and Dryer for doing our laundry. We loved sitting outside under the covered deck, enjoyed the private walkover with the sitting area to enjoy the sun, And loved the relaxing beautiful beach. It was wonderful having a pet friendly place to bring our 2 small pets! They loved being on the outside deck and enjoyed the relaxing week as well, and walks in the morning on the beach. We will definitely be coming back! Jim and Brenda are very pleasant and accommodating hosts! Thank you for this wonderful experience!!

I loved staying here because the place had lots of love poured into it. The owner had painted nicely done murals on the walls and her artwork was everywhere. I loved the beach although I couldn't get to it one day - so we just got in the car and drove out on American beach. I am disabled and that enables me to drive my all wheel drive car onto the beaches in Nassau county. Overall great experience.

This is a private home with two apartments on the lower level. The two-bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable -- we had everything we needed and the owners are just upstairs if problems arise (none did). We particularly love the "sundeck" that is perched above the dunes -- a sunny quiet place to sit where you can enjoy the ocean without being on the beach. The location is perfect, a short drive to anything on the island. We liked to walk to Slider's for breakfast in the mornings. There is plenty of outdoor sitting space on the deck right outside the apartment's two sliding glass doors. Comfortable bed, great shower, well-appointed kitchen. We felt the nightly rent was very reasonable for this apartment. Last year we stayed in the smaller one-bedroom next to this unit and it was very comfortable, as well.

This was our second year staying at our favorite VRBO in Fernandina Beach. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. We had our own private walkway to the beach and also loved just sitting on the cushioned seats at the end of the walkway overlooking the beach. Thank you Brenda and Jim.

This was a Beautiful house right on the beach. Very clean the house was well stocked Very comfortable house. Had a great week there can't wait to come back.

Turtle Cay is truly a special place, and Brenda and Jim are equally special hosts. The photos and descriptions, lists of amenities, etc. are all quite accurate, but can’t capture the wonderful and relaxing vibe of the apartment or the real beauty of the dunes and beach. There’s a sign on the porch “Paradise Found” - couldn’t say it any better!

This stay was our favorite stay yet on Amelia Island.

The view and beach access can't be beat. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Overall felt at home. Close drive to anything you need. Brenda and Jim were lovely and easy to communicate with. Hope to be back!

It was a wonderful home with great amenities. It was great to be able to eat outside and to walk to the beach so easily! Loved the beautiful paintings on the walls by our hostess.

We really enjoyed all the comfortable outdoor seating for Oceanside viewing. Private access to the beach and stunning sunrises over the Atlantic made for a peaceful, serene, restful week. The apartment had everything we needed and is uniquely decorated. We would definitely rent here again if returning to Amelia Island.

This property is centrally located, just a short drive to downtown. Perfect location, right on the beach with great outdoor space. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Loved the stay!

This property is so unique and beautiful. There’s so much to do and see right there, you won’t need to do anything else. Well stocked with whatever you need. Comfortable beds. 2 types of coffee makers! The back deck is AMAZING. I highly recommend this property. We definitely will be back.
