Beautiful property, with just a minutes walk to the beach. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and well appointed. There is a lovely outdoor area with a fire pit. You will have everything you need to enjoy the beach. The host Donna and her family are super responsive.

Great place for family vacation. Right next to the beach and plenty to do. It was very clean and we had a great time. We will definitely be back !

This condo was a perfect location for our group and it was super-clean. Short walk to both ocean and bay and walking distance to restaurants. We walked miles along the ocean each morning. I really cannot say enough about this property. I would absolutely stay here again. I was worried that it was on the Boulevard but traffic noise was a non-issue. Both patios were a great added bonus. The parking was tricky/very tight, especially when we ended up with a full-size SUV but it fit! While in San Diego, we visited the following, all less than 25 minutes from the condo: - San Diego Zoo - Midway Museum - Old Town - Sunset Cliffs - Cabrillo National Monument - Fashion Valley Mall

This beach house is beautifully decorated,smells amazing, and is very clean. The furniture is comfortable with ocean views from two of the bedrooms. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook or grill. There is a good amount of stairs to get to different levels of the house. If you have a baby or toddler there are baby gates provided to block the stairs and also a playpen. My kids had a blast playing the board games and there is a lot of different sand toys and balls to take out to the beach. Also, there are beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels provided. The walk to the beach is easy and quick. Belmont Park is about 15 minute walk from the house. There's plenty of places eat at in the area, a grocery store down the road, and places to rent bikes. The owner of the house is very friendly and responds to messages. We would definitely stay here again, if we visit the area agin. Thank you for having us in your beautiful house.

This is one of the best places we have lived on vacation! My husband and I stayed at this beautiful beach house with our 3 kids. The host was welcoming and communicated in timely manner. We felt at home right away! All the amenities we needed were available, very clean and organized! The location of the place was perfect, just a minute walk to the beach. We spent 5 days at this wonderful house. Very clean and well equipped. Lot of room; very accommodating to families, friends, and gatherings. All the comforts of home. Just steps from beach which can be seen from the unit. Large patio and upstairs deck. A great place, the best VRBO rental we’ve ever stayed.

Every member of our family enjoy our Christmas get away. The house was spotless. Every kitchen accessory we needed was there. We shopped for sundries(dishwasher pods, soap, etc)’but found plenty provided. Highly recommend!

This home, its amenities, its location and caring owners, provided us with one of the best vacations we ever had as a family of 8 adults. The reviews are 100% accurate. We wanted for nothing except for more time in this home. Made me regret not working harder to be able to own a property like this. I recommend you bring indoor shoes/slippers, as sand is everywhere and you will want to leave your outdoor shoes at the door. We were able to go a week (including a Thanksgiving dinner prep!) with the "starter pack" the owner provides - dish soap, sponge, paper towels, K-cups, bathroom soap and toilet paper. Plenty of spices and real salt and pepper mills (it's the little things!). It was very generous and appreciated. We had 3 cars to park, I do rec having a compact car to make parking a bit easier. This is a suggestion, not a negative comment. You could easily enjoy this home as well without a car, which was important to us as our four 21-year olds could not drive our rental cars. Coffee shops, restaurants, surf/bike rental, liquor/conv stores, Belmont Park, full grocery, all within 1-mile walking distance but bus line available as well. Also, the bedrooms each have locks and keys - if you are enjoying the home with others this provides added privacy. This was our first time to San Diego, there was so much to love; having access to this beautiful, immaculate, well-stocked home was the icing on the cake.

Home was clean and well stocked. Location was excellent with short walk to the beach and ocean view from 2nd story porch. Parking was tight with large SUV. Host was very responsive to questions.

Our family of 7 had the best vacation here. We had everything we needed and loved the location. I'd love to stay here again.

First off - we loved the area, the house, San Diego and our entire stay!! We took are kids (4) in total, our 2 kids and their significant others along with our 3 year old grandson. This beach house was exactly what is on the website and more. They had everything we needed for a wonderful beach time. I was on a boogie board 4 out of the 7 days, it was awesome! Had our coffee on the deck each brisk morning and ate on the deck with the firepit going each night. The walk to the beach is literally the 1 minute as advertised and the house is located so perfectly next to so many food places, Belmont Park, Balboa Park and so many other locatios. The one and only downside was due to the large vehicle we had to rent - the parking was tight. But once I got the hang of it, it all worked out. Not one person and a bad day at this beach house - everyone is already talking about going again next year!! My daughter is now engaged as our soon to be son-in-law proposed right out on the beach directly from the path from the house to the beach and at the perfect sunset - so beautiful and we are so happy. Everyone had a great time!!! We love this house and truly hope to be back in it in the very near future!! Thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house and it was all that it claimed to be and more. It was an ideal fit for our group of 8 including 3 of our grandchildren. Everything in the house seemed new and updated. And best of all the location was just a block from the beach. We would happily use this home again if we visit the area.

We just returned from our long awaited family vacation at this amazing rental and it was simply spectacular! We are a family unit of 6 adults and two young children under 2 years, coming in from all different cities and we had THE most marvelous week of joy, comfort and fun! Our host Donna was so communicative in the lead up to our stay and was there in a flash to answer any questions. Our sons and their families went to college in SD so they were so familiar with Mission Beach and surroundings. The house is simply lovely, extremely clean and well decorated, beds so comfortable and the layout of the home worked perfectly for our group purposes. We cooked, we ate out with really good restaurants, bakeries and coffee literally steps away. The ocean beach side is steps away and bayside steps away as well. In terms of supplies, there is everything you may need for your enjoyment there. The views from the upper deck were marvelous and the sound of the ocean at night was heavenly. Mornings on the deck with the kids playing while we sipped our coffee and watched the morning greet us. The other homes around this property are also so lovely and quaint, it felt like we were home. I hope to return soon!

Excellent property

The beach house was perfect in everyway...cleanliness,comfortability,items provided to make our stay enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with knives that actually were sharp,quality appliances, good quality furniture,comfy beds,fun games for indoors and the beach. The owner was available to answer questions and check out was hassle free and easy. I give this vaca home a 5☆ rating. We will definitely stay here again If San Diego is our destination.

House was great. Better than expected. Would rent again. Big enough for the eight of us. Second level deck was used every day.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful beach house! It was one of the best houses we have stayed at on Mission Beach. It was perfectly clean, well stocked, and a great location. Parking was easy and so nice to have. The house was stocked with everything you could need. The patios were so nice to have for early morning coffee and dinner/relaxation in the evenings. We will absolutely be booking this property again in the future!

We were there with family and friends to celebrate our daughter's graduation from SDSU and had a great time. The location was fun and close to our daughter's apartment in Pacific Beach, so it was a perfect spot for us. We enjoyed our time there immensely. Thanks so much!

Great place, looks better than the photos! Small peak boo view of the ocean, walking distance to beach and parks. Fully stocked kitchen with utensils pots and pans, neatly marked with everything where it should be. Very clean and fresh Beachy feel! Walking distance to beach, bay and parks. Excellent not sure what else to say. Thanks to our host for having our family!!!

We came over from the UK/Ireland to visit a family member currently living in San Diego. The place was beautiful and perfect for our 2 week stay. We loved our walks in the morning along the beach and to SaltWater Culture for a coffee! Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking for a gorgeous place to stay and I hope we return one day.

By far the best property we’ve stayed at in Southern California. The beach was just a few steps away. The outdoor fire table was appreciated on cool nights. The house was very clean and smelled amazing. Beds were super comfy and plenty of very nice linens and extra blankets. 2.5 baths were great and the kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances. Plenty of space for our group of 8. You won’t be disappointed!
