We booked this house to make our daughter’s 10th birthday more of a family and friend reunion. The house was perfect. We had 9 adults and 1 child. Not only did the house work on a practical level with plenty of communal space, bathrooms, laundry, and dining, but the beauty of this home made the trip for all of us. I could not believe the home was even more spectacular than the pictures. Staying in a family home also made us feel more a part of the community than a hotel. We shopped at local markets, pet the fluffiest Great Pyrenees dog who always popped his head over the fence on our lovely walk to the train, and made a habit of grabbing a coffee at the cafe across from the platform. We bought amazing wine from a shop a block away that also sells appliances, hosts wine tastings, and rescues cats. The local supermarket has amazing selections of meats, cheese, and fish. We cooked together between fabulous French restaurants. Our 10 year old was so inspired by French cuisine she even tried and loved duck confit and escargot. The hosts of this property were an absolute delight. They helped us with dinner reservations that worked perfectly with our schedule, they were available for tips on an array of needs, and were kind enough to join us for an evening. Everyone of our guests loved this location and would return. If you want to experience France at its finest look no further.

A beautiful, well maintained and welcoming family house surrounded by a green and pretty garden where we have been celebrating Christmas together with great grand parents, grand parents, parents and grand children. Thank you Cyril and Happy New Year to you and all your family!

It was an absolutely awesome time we had. The accomodation has all the luxuries of an actual chalet and the hosts were so hospitable and generous. We can highly recommend the Marettes!

This is a lovely family house and the owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The house is very well equipped although a few more cups with handles in the kitchen would have been better. Only 1 toilet on each floor and none in the en-suites was a bit of a negative. A short drive to the station takes you into central Paris in 30 minutes. Thank you Kristin & Cyrille for making our time in La Celle memorable.

The owners were helpful, the home was in a great location and immaculate! Comfortable for the 12 of our family members!

El propietario ha demostrado una falta de empatía y afán usurero sin precedentes. Le rogamos que nos cambiara la fecha de reserva de la casa porque justo antes de viajar, algunos miembros del grupo causamos baja por infección de coronavirus y lógicamente no podíamos viajar de España a Francia. El propietario de la casa no aceptó nuestra solicitud de fechas propuestas y no respondió a ninguno de nuestros mensajes. Nos ha estafado 1000€ de la reserva y VRBO no se hace responsable después de cobrar su comisión. Hemos denunciado este asunto a la Asesoría Jurídica de Consumo. Muy desilusionados con esta experiencia ------------------------------------------------------------------- The owner has shown an unprecedented lack of empathy and usuriousness. We begged him to change the booking date of the house because just before we were due to travel, some members of the group had to leave due to coronavirus infection and logically we could not travel from Spain to France. The owner of the house did not accept our request for the proposed dates and did not respond to any of our messages. He cheated us out of €1000 of the booking and VRBO will not be held responsible after collecting his commission. We have reported this matter to the Asesoría Jurídica de Consumo. Very disappointed with this experience

My friends and I — eight of us in total — spent five days in Paris after a week in Bordeaux. I chose this property based on its proximity to Paris as well as its size and amenities, and I was NOT disappointed! Our hosts, Cyrille and Kristen, were amazing. They were always on hand to help us if needed, and made our stay smooth and enjoyable. They especially went out of their way to assist us with a few “glitches” some of my friends experienced — well above and beyond what I could ever have expected. And we TRULY appreciated it. Oh, and the champagne toast and great conversation the night before we left was an added bonus! The home itself is beautiful and well-appointed. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen it nice and big, and the dining room table fit eight of us easily. I would not hesitate to recommend this location if you’re planning to visit Paris. You will love it.

Fantastisch huis voor een grote familie Mooie ruime kamers en schoon en voldoende sanitaire voorzieningen Ligging op ca 30 minuten van het centrum is ok met de auto , met de trein/ metro ben je zeker een uur kwijt.
