Wonderfully peaceful visit to this Whidbey Island home. This is our third stay at this property and we always love our time spent here. We have it booked for another week later this year. The only bad thing about it is leaving!! Thanks for sharing this amazing place, Dan!

Lovely stay, beautiful week.

The house was clean, and very well supplied. There was nothing essential that wasn’t available to us. The only negative anyone had was the water pressure in the kitchen sink was low, but it wasn’t a big deal. I would stay again, and highly recommend this house and host.

This was a fun place to stay with the family. Loved the fenced area for the dogs. The beach location is perfect! Thanks for a great stay!

We (two families with a combined 4 kids under 5) had a great stay. The location was great and the view couldn’t be beat. The kids loved playing in the sand and watching the big ships go by. The sunsets were beautiful. We did not receive information about how to get into the property and realized it shortly before we were ready to check in. Dan responded very quickly with a phone call and checked in later on to make sure everything was going well.

The location was wonderful, right on the water. But, we were not informed about the construction six feet away. There was a very loud air compressor, and pounding until nearly 9pm the first night. Also, for anyone who is sensitive to smells, the house smells very strongly like very flowery laundry soap or cleaner. My husband sneezed and sniffled everyday except when we left the house. We are not returning to this place.

Loved watching the marine traffic, from cruise ships to container boats and barges! The dog area in back of the house was perfect for our one small dog. It was out in the country on a dead-end lane - very quiet! We certainly would recommend this home to our family and friends.

Wonderful, quiet property right on the beach. Perfect weather and lots of wildlife. Such a special place! This is our 3rd birthday weekend here. Than you again, the Clevelands

We stayed at this property for Spring Break for the second year in a row. The location can't be beat and the home is comfortable. We'll be back!

Right on the beach and exactly what we were looking for.

Our family of 7 and dog Dobby have used VRBO homes for many years. Dan wins the prize as far as being a kind, helpful host who is easy to communicate with. The view from the house of the beach is incredible. And we were close to town and beautiful walking trails. It was the perfect place to stay.

Amazing views and location, comfortable and very clean, well-stocked. We hope to return soon...

We had a great time at this property. It was very clean, well stocked, and had a wonderful beachfront. Enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, and hanging out on the beach.

We had a great northwest beach getaway! Location, weather, beach… were just perfect! Definitely staying here again!

Tastefully decorated beach home with cozy kitchen, fireplace, and plentiful indoor and outdoor seating. Decks on both sides of home to enjoy sunrises over the hill and stellar sunsets. Close (10 mins) to Freeland stores and restaurants. As others have mentioned, we too felt the 10am check out mandate was way too early (especially the morning following an evening wedding). If you're looking for a great Whidbey experience, we'd highly recommend this house.

We had a great stay with our 2 and 4 year old daughters, and their grandparents. Having the sandy area right off the deck made it super easy to let the girls play while we sat on the deck. We walked down to the beach daily and looked for seashells and threw rocks in the water with the kiddos. Sunsets are great from the deck too. The house is towards the end of a quiet flat dead end street and was perfect for letting our girls ride their scooters and bikes. Only thing to be aware of is that the upstairs bedrooms get quite warm (though cool down quickly overnight with the deck doors cracked) and have a lot of windows and light. We were able to make some makeshift blackout shades with the extra blankets/sheets in the closet. I was also able to fit a pack and play in the master bedroom closet, which was nice. Bring shampoo/conditioner, cause only soap was provided in the showers. We would stay here again! Oh and checkout Jupiter Coffee 10 min away for amazing homemade scones. They only have the breakfast sandwiches some mornings, but they are also outstanding.

The view is amazing! The balconies were great to relax and watch for wildlife. Home was clean and beds very comfortable.

This house is clean and comfortable, but the location and view are everything. Walking the beach and sitting on the deck during sunsets were our highlights. It was easy to cook family meals in the kitchen, but you’re also close enough to Freeland and Langley spots to go out. We hope to return!

Perfect location, great house

It really was perfect. The home was clean, well appointed. Owner and property managers prompt with communication, welcoming and professional. The master bed was crazy comfortable. It was beyond my expectations. Met a few of the neighbors while walking the dogs, everyone was really friendly. It’s a lovely home, you won’t be disappointed.

This was a perfect home for my dog and me! The location was more than fabulous and the home had everything we needed. There were quite a few helpful pantry items in the cabinet (cooking oil, herbs, spices, teas, etc), but I assume those change over time. The kitchen was very well supplied with everything I could have possibly needed. The stunning view is SO relaxing! I love the openness of the floor plan so you can see the view from everywhere in the house, except the downstairs bedroom. I think there is a family of eagles that are nesting in a tree nearby, as every day I saw 2 adult and 1 juvenile eagle circling around together. The fenced grass front yard was very nice for my dog. He would sit on the porch in sun and watch all the birds and the few people. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors I met were very nice. No one was staying in the houses on either side of me while we were there, which was great. I tried to communicate with the owner about the lawn not being mowed, forgetting that the instructions say to contact the property manager first, so don't make that mistake if you need anything. The property manager was a very nice and responsible person. The only reason I didn't give the cleanliness 5 stars is that there are a couple of things that need attention (coffee pot could use a good cleaning, upstairs shower grout needs some bleach cleaner or something strong and they need to use a better product to clean the glass in the downstairs shower), but overall the home was very clean and well cared for. If you have a dog, we LOVED going to Greenbank Farms. They have a wonderful huge off leash dog park and forest trails to hike! Met lovely people and my dog was in heaven. It’s not overcrowded like many of the Seattle dog parks. It’s a puppy paradise!

We brought a lot of things with us. But should you come nearly empty handed, it'd be there for you. We'd think of something, turn around and there it is. Games and puzzles included. Very comfortable beds and sofas. There during a very windy week. The large windows upstairs and down gave a great view of the white caps and ships going by. We saw a Grey whale and several sealions/seals, along with a few eagles. Watch out for the many deer along the road.

Had a wonderful time with family. Great house and pet friendly.

This is a great west-facing Whidbey beach house with a sandy beach! Perfect for long walks in either direction. We were lucky not to have any rain for our January visit, so we took lots of walks. The house has three bedrooms and comfortable beds. The living room/dining room furniture has been updated since the photos were taken and is very nice. The kitchen is well-outfitted for any cooking need. Our interactions with the owner were all positive. I recommend this place highly.

Absolutely lovely home and location! Everything was easy and straightforward. House is as described, very comfortable and clean. Communication with owners was very friendly and prompt. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

This is such a beautiful beachfront home! I was looking for a relaxing place to enjoy Thanksgiving with my two pups. I had some friends stop by which made the trip fun. We all were saying how this is the perfect home to have a quiet time to ground, center, and rejuvenate. I reference this home as the “zen home.” Dan is such a lovely host and easy to reach. His wife made a beautiful beach decor with sea shells and sea glass. Breathtaking experience! Thank you so much! I’m truly grateful for this time and will definitely be back!

We were a multi-generational family (grandparents, us, and our 2 young kids) and we were looking for a nice getaway. The house was extremely clean and organized and fully stocked with everything you could imagine. The house had tons of towels and dishes and was very well-stocked. Additionally, the linens on the beds upstairs were of pretty high quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a seaside getaway.

We had a long relaxing pre-thanksgiving weekend. The house is perfectly located to be able to access hikes, beaches and the cute town of Langley. The beach out front is great for long walks at low tide. The house is very well equipped and the fire place was a real plus on rainy blustery days.
