The location was great and accommodations were also.

We enjoyed our stay, but wish we had more days available! The house had a perfect location, only 2 blocks from a beautiful beach. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and a child, so we didn't feel on top of each other. The house is definitely updated a bit from the pictures, but we felt it was a little dirty in some spots. The floors left our bare feet dirty, and there were some cobwebs we ran into in corners of rooms, but otherwise nothing bad. We also had to reach out to the owner for directions for check-in/keys and check-out because there was nothing provided to us, or left visible at the house. We will definitely keep this home in mind for another summer stay where we can come back and enjoy the close location and warmer weather for a longer period of time!

Very nice house and a short walk to a very pretty beach! Safe town, very laid back. I would recommend this place for kids, adults, and older folks too! Nice gardens in the area, and good weather. Michigan is my new Florida!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The location is great - very close to the park and South Beach. Our family of 9 was comfortable with room to spare, and the outdoor shower is great!

House was even better than the pictures and in a great area. I was informed the basement flooded a month before our stay but Brent accommodated us perfectly. Beautiful house. Lots of room everything you would need is there. Would definitely book again.

This is out second time staying at this property. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and fully stocked. We were 3 adults and 3 children and everyone had a great time. Very close to beach and Kids Corner. It is a great location.

It was a perfect spot for our family vacation with a young child. As as described, it was a 1/2 block from Kids Corner and an easy walk to the beach and downtown. Three floors of comfortable living space allowed for gathering and for privacy. Definitely will return!

This location was ideal for our family, we could be at the park in two minutes and to the blue stairs for the beach in 5. It's a bit of a walk to the restaurants but doable. The pictures didn't do the house justice, it was nicer in person. It had all the amenities we needed and his neighbor was so kind to our family. One thing to note, the bathroom on the main floor doesn't have a shower. This wasn't a big deal at all to us as we enjoyed showering outside after the beach (but could also use a shower upstairs or downstairs). The wifi worked well, but the tv in the basement wasn't able to stream anything (all bedrooms had a tv as did the kitchen/dining area). At first this seemed like it would be a problem but we barely spent anytime watching tv since we were outside all the time! We loved eating in the backyard and grilling. The layout worked great for our family, we slept upstairs with our oldest two in the kids room, our youngest slept in the small room off the master (which is accessible from the kitchen as well), my parents slept in the master on the main floor and my brother slept downstairs. Everyone had their own space when they wanted it. Overall we are really happy with Brent's house and would rent here again!

This is a great house. We’ve been coming to South Haven for 4 summers, and this is the best place we’ve stayed. We already reserved it for a week in 2023!

We loved the location and the layout of the house. It advertised 4 bathrooms but there were only 3. Found out day before that the outdoor shower didn't work. The house could use some TLC.

We were in town with friends for a local wedding. This home is beautiful and the location is great. Short walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable, house was clean. Everything we were looking for in a house. Next time I would like to bring our kids for a family trip! :)

We stayed here with parents, in-laws and young children and it was the perfect house. The location is less than a block from the kids corner and the house had everything we need (including space!) to make our stay perfect.

This house was a great spot to stay for our family trip to south Haven. It was our first time visiting this town and we loved it. The house is in the perfect location. Quaint, quiet, and close to the playground and the beach. The backyard was a great hangout spot. The house was equipped with everything you need.

The pictures on VRBO did not do this house justice. House was larger then expected and very nice. We were surprised to find a screened porch, which was delightful in the evenings. Lake, playground and downtown were in walking distance. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandkids and we all enjoyed a wonderful time here! Thank u Brent.

The house was a great location to walk to kids corner and the beach. Perfect layout for our two families totaling 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 7, 5, 4). Everyone had a bed with the basement bedroom to spare. Brent was also very responsive to texts. I’d highly recommend this house and him as a host!

Great location, great house!

We stayed for 8 nights with our three daughters (3-10). The location is everything! We only used the car for longer trips. We went to the beach at least twice each day. I am a runner and was pleased to find the Van Buren State trail so accessible, 1/2 mile from the house. You could also find your way to the Kal Haven trail. Bikes are provided if you choose. Brent is very responsive and answered all of our questions, usually before we asked. We will definitely come back to stay!

Location, Location. 1 block from beach steps , 1/2 block from kids corner. The home was clean and well equipped kitchen, the little ones loved the ping pong table in the basement and cooking smores on the outside fire pit. The internet was very strong so children can do their online schooling. His neighbors are the best very friendly and welcoming. Brent tell Garry and his wife we said Hello. Would definitely stay here again when visiting South Haven.

Beautiful house, had everything we needed and more! Perfect location: close to the beach and playground, quick walk to shops and restaurants, and quiet dead-end road with no traffic. The backyard was amazing - perfect for lawn games, grilling and campfires. Would rent again next time we’re in South Haven.

Very nicely kept home in a quiet neighborhood near the Blue Stairs beach access on South Beach. Very well stocked on arrival. Nice to have some decent adult bicycles (though there were no adult helmets). Nice kitchen, fine outdoor dining arrangement. Plenty of sleeping options for our family. It would be nice if an ice maker at a rental home worked one time, but we were warned to bring ice. Good stay, recommended.

We had a wonderful week in South Haven and very much enjoyed our stay at this home. It was on a dead end street which was safe for the kids. We were only a block and a half to the lake which was great. Since the water was high, the beach area was quite "skinny" so we had to walk to the public beach (South Beach). It's important though to note that the public beach is a little further, maybe 4-5 blocks but was easily walk able. We enjoyed the cooler evenings on the back patio/deck. The large bedroom upstairs was great. There was an air conditioner in the window which made it more comfortable for an upstairs bedroom. On the negative side, there were 8 bikes in the garage but only 3 of them worked. Brent made us aware of this so it was no big deal. Also a large section of fence on the back deck was not secure so one needs to be aware that it is not safe to lean against. The kids bedroom upstairs was adequate but was quite uncomfortable because it was very warm and had no air conditioner. The basement was large with a big screen t.v. however, the picture on the t.v. was quite fuzzy. All in all, we believe it was a great place to stay for our family week and appreciate Brent allowing us to rent it.

Everything was even better than advertised. Our family of 8 adults and 4 toddlers absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

Our extended family of 11, with 4 kids ages 1-7, really enjoyed our second stay at this house. Proximity to Kids Corner playground and great indoor play spaces made a cool, rainy week enjoyable, even without much beach time. Only problem was that the main DVD player in the basement did not work. We will be back next year!

We rented this property with family friends. Between our two families, there were four adults and five children (ages 3 - 9). This house was PERFECT for us. Plenty of options for sleeping arrangements, a ping pong table in the basement that the older kids loved, and back yard space on a quiet street so we didn’t worry about the kids playing outside. The location was wonderful! We walked to Kids Korner every morning, walked back for lunch, and then headed back out on foot to the beach for the afternoon. Walking to town was a breeze too. We ate outside for every meal on the patio table and took advantage of the charcoal grill. They had a fire pit too. All check in/check out instructions were very clear. The house was comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was as advertised, owner is very helpful. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids. We would definitely consider staying here again.
