We loved the Arlington Park area and our time in beautiful Sarasota. The house was a perfect location to spend time in the Osprey area as well as the waterfront, Long Boat Key, Lido Beach, and Siesta Key. Arlington Park is a wonderful place to walk or run amid the beautiful flora and fauna. Now that I am back to 22 degree temps, I miss the sunshine and warmth. The hosts were very responsive and provided us with some great tips – Libby’s, Mortons, Yoder Farms, and Detweilers. It was wonderful knowing they were only a few blocks away if needed. They were not intrusive and we felt comfortable in their home. Speaking of comfort, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. Sarasota is a wonderful community and we look forward to coming back again soon.

We stayed here for a month and loved the location. It was a quick walk to the jogging paths, the swimming pool and the dog parks in Arlington Park. It was a quick drive to the beaches on Lido and Siesta Keys. The house was well equipped and we appreciated the office, as we were working remotely during our stay. The kitchen was well provisioned, not only with cookware and dishes, but also with coffee, tea and lots of spices. The front loading washer and dryer were terrific. Sandra was an awesome host and a great communicator.

This house is in a perfect location to enjoy Sarasota and the surrounding areas. The owners are responsive and easy to work with. If you need to buy a home (which we did), Sandra is very experienced and helpful realtor. The kitchen is well stocked, and there is plenty of room in the house. The yard is wonderful if you have a dog.. with geckos to keep your pet entertained! We had a really nice stay in this property and highly recommend it.

We just spent 3 wonderful weeks in this home and lived that it allowed us to bring among the family pet....without looking or smelling like a pet hotel. The home is centrally located in the city allowing us to hop around from the beaches to the instate very easily and quickly. We loved the convenience of the park at the end of the block and the safety the dead end provided in letting our young boys rude their bikes The home was very well supplied and we really enjoyed not having to haul beach chairs or an umbrella in our drive from Atlanta. Be sure to check out all the cabinets before shopping. I like to cook and really loved the surprise of good kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable, well protected and had ample linens. The washer and dryer seemed small, but did a great job. I loved the big closets as I prefer to hang everything. Sandra and Mark were really helpful when we had questions prior to our arrival and we never had a single complaint or question during our stay so we could really just relax and reset as a family. We really enjoyed how safe the neighborhood was and it never felt risky leaving our bikes, fishing gear or coolers outside. I honestly can't offer up anything but praise and we would definitely rebook the house without hesitation

My husband and I moved from CA and rented this property for 5 weeks. Sandra and her husband were remarkable kind people! The help they provided during our transition to FL was a blessing!!

I enjoyed my stay at Arlington Street, property was clean the kitchen well-equipped to cook anything that you would like! The location was great as it was only about 6 miles from the beach. The beds were quite comfortable and air-conditioning work great! Only recommendation I would have is to put a floor lamp at end of couch, not enough lighting in living room at night to read.

All was as expected. Lovely house with a well-stocked kitchen and a pretty yard. We love to cook normally, but this was even more appreciated during the pandemic. An easy drive to Siesta Key Beach, and a short walk to Arlington Park. We loved that also!

My wife and I recently stayed at this lovely house located next to Arlington Park. The location was excellent! We were close to shopping areas and only minutes to Siesta Key! It was so nice to have a place we could take our Goldendoodle too! She loved our daily stroll through Arlington Park located at the end of our quiet street. The backyard was fenced and well maintained which she enjoyed as well. The home was comfortable and quiet. We would definitely consider renting this property again in the future!

Perfect house in a good location.

Sandra and Mark offer a fabulous environment for dogs. The terrazzo flooring is impervious to just about anything, the yard is large and awesome, and there's a dog park a stone's throw away. The accommodations for humans are pretty sweet too. Amazingly comfy beds (pillows, not so much, so you might want to bring your own). Nice set-up for private spaces. Essentially having two master bedrooms is great. Our family comprises three humans and four human-sized dogs. The space was perfect for us. (Though the property is advertised to accommodate up to six people, I think four really is the max.) A few housekeeping notes: bring your own coffee, condiments, and cleaning supplies. Previous guests have graciously donated food items, but don't count on it. Do not put the knives in the dishwasher. We found them rusty and cleaned them the best we could, but they should be hand-washed. Do not put the lovely blue plates in the dishwasher as they are not dishwasher safe. The dryer is rather truculent, so give it some time. If you want to do some serious cooking, bring an extra pot. While the cookware is great, there's not enough of it to make both spaghetti sauce and spaghetti. The beach is close, and there are towels, chairs, a brelly, and sunscreen, so you will not need to bring those items. That said, if yoiu are concerned about COVID, you may want to eschew the beach. I went one day. People were not wearing masks, filling water bottles from community water fountains, and congregating close together. Or, go at the end of the day when the beach is less crowded. All in all, though, a great little vacation house! Enjoy!

This property was perfect for myself when I needed a central location in Sarasota while my house was being remodeled.

Great property, big backyard for our dogs, clean, well appointed

The home was just as described in the listing. Sandra made us feel welcome from the start with fresh flowers on the counter. The beds are comfortable. Everything you would need for your stay is included, even a large selection of spices for cooking and coffee pods for that first cup in the morning. The large fenced yard was great for our dog Buckeye. There is a small gas grill which works well, easy to wash the grates in the sink before using. Little lizards enjoy hanging out near the grill. We had a small issue with the handle in the master bath and Sandra and her husband were at the house immediately. It was repaired within the hour. Arlington park is at the end of the street with a .5 mile walking trail, a lovely pond with plenty of ducks, birds, and turtles and lush greenery brighten the landscape. There is a lap pool there for a small fee. The only disappointment was the proximity to a busy road at the end of the street. You can hear the road noise while sitting outside. We enjoyed our stay. We like to winter in a warm climate 3 or more months at a time. One of the months was booked for 2021 so we had to secure a different property. Hope to be back in the future.

Sandra is just amazing. Anyone would love to stay at her place as she has everything one needs, PLUS she has a book with all important #'s, wifi code and password, emergency #'s to everything you can think of. It's like you are at your own home! I will keep coming back! Thank you Sandra!!!!

This was our second time staying at this house and everything was great like we remembered.. Had another great time, neighborhood is quiet and we like the location. Close to beaches and downtown area. House was clean and as advertised. Had beach chairs, towels and anything else you would want for those days. Sandra is easy to get in touch with and attentive. Follows up with us during our stay but not overbearing. Thanks Sandra for having the house make it feel like our home for a week. Can't wait to stay here again for our next Sarasota trip!!

When we decided to visit beautiful Sarasota again, we knew exactly where to stay. We thought this home was wonderful when we stayed there in early 2018, but we returned to find Sandra and Mark had made even more additions and improvements to keep the property fresh and inviting. The cleaning service gets 5 stars also for preparing such a clean and comfortable home for us to enjoy. Everything in this home is generously supplied, of high quality and well maintained. We did not cook or use the gas grill while we were there, but EVERYTHING is provided to prepare and serve any meal you would like to enjoy, including wonderful appliances. The kitchen and both baths have been so nicely renovated, with plenty of counter space on the vanity tops for the ladies. This home has such comfortable beds, a desk area for your laptop, covered parking, no stairs, and a perfect location to easily access all you want to see and do. The huge, fully fenced backyard has been secured so that it is safe for even very small dogs to enjoy, and the walking paths and dog parks at very nearby Arlington Park are an extra bonus for both pets and their humans. We can't say enough about how much both we (and our dogs) enjoyed our second stay at this special home and dealing with responsible, caring hosts like Sandra and Mark made our visit a great experience all around. Thank you!!!

Sandra was simply the best. The home looks as beautiful as the pictures. Communicating with Sandra was so easy. She is very knowledgeable about the area (go to the park and swim in the Olympic sized pool).

This house is a perfect home for a family to stay in Sarasota. Sandra was perfect to work with and the communication prior to check in and during the stay was great. This was our first trip to the Sarasota and Siesta Key area and we will be back for sure. We look forward to our next oppurtunity to stay at Sandra's house.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week of calm quiet walks through Arlington Park as well as enjoying the activities of downtown Sarasota easily accessible by car. It was a short trip to see Siesta Key Beach, but time spent in the house with all of our needs at arms length was just as enjoyable. Thank you for one week of paradise!

This is a great spot.

We enjoyed the house and felt safe and secure. It is convenient to the beaches and to downtown Sarasota. The large fenced-in yard was fun for our two little dogs. The furnishings were nice, including the kitchen supplies and furniture. The space was decorated well and having so many TV options was great. Sandra was very good about a smooth check-in and -out. Very good trip and experience!

We had a wonderful week revisiting Sarasota, with comfortable accommodations bordering Arlington Park. The home was pet friendly with a fenced yard, and had everything we could ask for. Time goes by far too fast when you are having a good time. We loved the Florida beaches and the sunshine.

The house was clean, exactly as pictures, a little smaller in person. We arrived 2 hrs early and Sanda let us checkin early. The house kitchen has every thing you need. The house is 6 miles away, 15 min drive to Siesta Key Beach. We were guests who didn't want to be bothered and Sandra gaves us our space. Can't wait to return again.

This is a lovely home, very well equipped with quality appliances and furniture located near to everything you would want on vacation. Beaches, restaurants, parks, shopping malls, tourist attractions, etc I definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

It was a wonderful place and area to stay.

Perfect size, perfect quiet neighborhood, perfect central location for attractions and activities, and perfectly lovely furnishings and finishes. The house was clean, beds were made up, and everything was ready for our stay when we arrived. NO STAIRS! Even though there is a fantastic park and dog park at the end of the street, our little guys enjoyed having their own personal dog park in the huge, completely fenced backyard. Our min pin is blind and our doxiehuahua doesn't play well with other kids, and watching them enjoy all the off leash freedom they could handle in that huge safe environment was one of the best parts of our trip. The house was so comfortable and well appointed that we enjoyed our time there as much as that spent out and about. Our hosts were so pleasant and very easy to work with --no complicated list of instructions--and we can't say enough good things about this rental experience. Sarasota is one of the most beautiful areas we have visited, and we certainly know the place to stay for a return visit! Thank you!
