This property is well appointed with all the essentials for a large group. Our family spent a week here with 6 adults and 8 children 10 and under. It was very clean and conveniently located close the the beach and two pools. The home was located on a private street with upscale Charleston style homes. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great with the house. Location was fantastic, walking distance to the beach & pools. House was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a nice park along with a great bbq spot and brewery also within walking distance. If I could make a suggestion would be to provide more than one trash bag for a 3 night stay. Thanks for letting our 2 families rent your home!

In first entering home, I was caught off guard by the smell of a basketball locker room that I use to encounter in high school and college. The Wi-Fi and Xfinity were inoperable the entire stay. I’m assuming the owner and or property management team needed us to bring our own trash bags. Toiletries were extremely limited as well. I have friends who have homes in the Coastal Cottage community and one rents out and I can say from all the others we have stayed in this location was the least desirable. I would recommend to anyone who ask to stay elsewhere and not this location. Hampton Inn and Home2Suite would be a nicer and cheaper location without a doubt.

This was a group of 40-year-old moms getting away for the weekend, so we had the absolute best time! The weather and location were perfect! We just wanted to say that the house has not been kept up with. The electricity in particular was sketchy (outlets sparking and lights flickering on and off), the dryer sounds like someone is jack-hammering, the ceilings need to be repainted, there is a leaky faucet in the front Q room, and the wall is caved in and bulging with bubbled up paint in the bunk room.

The property is nice and the property management team are great!

The Northern Belle cottage is just as pictured. Our group of 11 very much enjoyed our stay(6 adults, 5 kids). The kitchen and living room are located on the second floor and they were very well appointed. We were able to make fajitas on the grill outside and the kitchen was stocked enough with supplies to make it easy. Would recommend bringing a beach cart when you head to the beach. It’s a little bit of a walk down Coast Cottage Lane to get to the beach.(I think we walked past 15 or so cottages) Hope to return again soon. Would definatley recommend.

Great location, loved the easy beach access and 2 pools! Worked well for our family of 10! Only complaint is it could’ve been a little cleaner. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Our stay was amazing!!! Great house (very clean). Our property manager (Wanda), was amazing, she was so easy to talk to and answered every question with kindness. The pool area was very nice and the access to the beach was easy. The only problem we had was parking and that is only a problem if you have more than 2 cars. We will definitely go back (we are planning our next trip).

We really enjoyed our time at the East Beach Cottage! The neighborhood was family friendly, the cottage was perfect for our family with teens! The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and the living room adjoining was also accommodating. We rented bikes and the kids road to Starbucks and Chick Fil A as well as downtown to the stores and restaurants. The pools did not feel overly crowded except for the Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend. We will definitely be back to East Coast Cottage!

This was a great Floor plan for Grandparents on same level as kitchen and den with children and grandchildren all on lower level. The kids loved the bunk beds. Everything was nice with furniture. Dryer gave us a bit of trouble when the vent was loose and tangled all the clothes in knots. Also the kitchen need some updates on stocking cookware and supplies. Overall, our stay was nice and we had a fabulous time. Thank you, Jean

Really enjoyed staying at this property. We were two families with adult children who like to pair off to do their own thing and then regroup for dinner and games. House is updated, beautiful and clean. Only wish was for both pools to be heated to reduce crowding but that does not reflect on the property itself. Management is true to Southern Hospitality. Highly recommend.

We’ve rented several times in Coast Cottages and always enjoy our time in St. Simons. The communication with the owner and the rental agency was terrific, and check-in was a breeze. If you have a large party, the Northern Bell can accommodate quite a few people in the 4 spacious bedrooms., all nicely decorated. The master bedroom is on the main level off the kitchen and the master bath is the smallest of the 3 bathrooms. Very little room for two people and only one sink. It’s the only bathroom on the main floor which is a bit inconvenient. There are no half baths. All are accessed through the bedrooms; no hallway access. There is a large kitchen with tons of storage;; unfortunately the quality and quantity of the utensils and small appliances were subpar. The kitchen stools need to be cleaned or reupholstered and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Overall, the property was nice and comfortable. However, with very little effort, a few enhancements could make a big difference and easily make it 5 stars.!

Our family had a great time. This was our first visit to St. Simon's and will certainly not be our last. The house was welcoming and in a great location. The private beach access was definitely a plus. Thanks so much.

Coast Cottage Lane is a gem! Love the location, community pool and beach access. St Simons island and surrounding area has so much to do and explore. I highly recommend renting bikes and exploring the extensive bike trails. We stayed in this house about 10 years ago, and although its been mostly updated with new furnishings and nicely appointed kitchen appliances, the house is showing its age. I suggest upgrading the bathrooms too. Many faucets leak and the handles and drain plugs are loose. The master toilet needs a new flapper (it constantly runs). Lastly, there isnt enough drinking glasses or silverware for 8 people. Overall our stay was wonderful, and I would stay here again.

Overall as described. Quite clean, served our group of 11 very well. Only glitch was tv service went out, not the fault of the property management. Benji was as helpful as possible getting the situation resolved. Would stay again sometime in future for large family group. Heated pool a plus in December!

Great property and amenities. Could have been a little bit cleaner but not a showstopper. Really enjoyed the stay and will look to return sometime.

Location is very convenient and the community pool is a great way to end a day at the beach. The home has plenty of space for our party of eight, three kids and five adults, and we particularly appreciated having enough seating for meals.

We had a great time in this lovely home. It’s beautifully decorated and both clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and worked so well for our family.

We liked the layout of the house and it was in a great location. Easy access to the beach, restaurants and activities on the island. But it was very unclean. There was no bath soap or extra trash bags. Pots and pans had cooked on food. Dishes and flatware not clean. Very few drinking glasses, especially wine glasses. Dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker very old and dirty. Found a used wodded up paper towel at base of coffee table in living room. Food crumbs in cabinets and drawers. Bar stool seats very stained and dirty. Really in need of a deep clean and a new cleaning service. For the amount of money we paid for cleaning very disappointed to stay in such a unclean house.

This was a great house with a great location! We had 7 children with us and it was an easy walk to the beach and had everything we needed!

The property was very nice and spacious with great proximity to the beach. The only improvement I would say was that the pool deck was made of a very weather wood that multiple people in our party got splinters from. If they could seal the wood or replace it, it would be much better! Otherwise, it was a great little getaway!

We had a great time There are a few things this rental needs:More glasses. Both drinking and wine Placemats Better lighting Better tub drainage in master and double queen bath Other than that it was great!!

Rental process was easy and the house was clean. Easily accommodated our large family.

House was beautiful but the access to the pool and beach was perfect!
