Our extended family (13 adults) had a great time at the Beach Retreat West home and the Destin area. Roxanna was very responsive in setting up the stay and providing updates. We had an issue with one of the drains on Christmas eve and it was taken care of that day. The home had room for us to spread-out and hangout. The heated pool and hot tub were a hit.

The bedrooms were all large, some of the mattresses need to be replaced. The pool was a nice alternative to the beach. Could have used some better seating (chairs with backs) in the main living room and more seating and coffee tables on the 2 and 3 balconies. Also an extra refrigerator would have been helpful with so many people. We would stay here again.

The property was exactly what we were looking for…. Easy, convenient beach access & the pool was a refreshing end to each day! There was more than enough room for our group, the baby essentials came in handy for our infant nephew, & we all had an amazing time!

We loved this beach house. The private beach area was no crowded at all! The pool was awesome and the house was perfect for our big crowd. The only thing that would have made it better was if the refrigerator was bigger or if there was a 2nd one outside somewhere and it had more pillows in each room. We loved the location to the beach! We gave up being on the beach to have the private pool and it was well worth it for our kids!

This property had everything I'd want in a property. I can't express how clean and beautiful it was.

We stayed with 4 families and kids. Overall Roxanna was very responsive, despite a few issues they got resolved and we enjoyed our stay!

The house was clean for the most part however, the dishes were not completely clean upon arrival. The beds were hard making it difficult to sleep at times. The hot tub did help with the back problems. The elevator, which was one of the sole reasons I booked this house due to a person being there that had endured two knee surgeries, was out of service for almost the entire trip. Nonetheless, the house was a wonderful site.

The house and location were excellent. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We loved everything about this house! The location was absolutely fantastic and the house was amazing and accurately described in listing. The owner was very helpful and always available during the entire weeks, days and hours leading up to our visit. I would highly recommend this house to anyone with kids. Great property, great location!!

Had a great girl’s trip (8 of us)and had plenty of room for more friends. Property was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Any problems we had were taken care immediately. Easy access to the beach! I would gladly rebook this property!

Very clean on arrival, great layout with views, and convenient location. Although it's a three story home and an elevator is present, it isn't a bad climb if you choose to use the stairs to the third floor. The elevator is a little slow in comparison to others in buildings or apartments but I'm not sure if that's because it's in a home. You can see some of the ocean from the living room and the signal flag so you can get a sense of how your beach day will be. We did have an issue but the agency was easy to get a hold of that day and responded quickly by coming out the next day to resolve it. There was also a hose on route in the private walkway to the beach so it was easy to rinse off sand going back to the property as well as a private hose on the property by the front door. We definitely enjoyed our time here and would come back in the future.

Our family of 11 (7 adults and 4 children) thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, well maintained home. The good size pool was perfect for us. We had plenty of room for all. We had one small problem with pool while there but it was addressed within 2 hours after I called, which exceeds customer service I have experienced in all my years going to Destin! The only shortcomings to this property is the lack of a good view of the beach, due to other homes across the street and the living room furniture, which I did not find very comfortable. Overall, this is a great place and I recommend it to anyone needing plenty of space and desirous of a beautiful pool!

Our two families had a great stay. Excellent proximity to the beach. Also, the pool was wonderful and very warm. Couldn’t get the kids (and some adults!) out. Rooms all nice and loved having a bathroom for each one. Kitchen very comfortable. House itself is five stars, but it’s right next to a run down condo building and the circle K, which takes away from being top rated. We would definitely go back and are already talking about when.

Super clean, right across the street from it's private beach access gate. Home is meticulously maintained and has a great look and feel. Plenty of parking. Owner and his staff are great to work with. Best Destin rental I've stayed in (been going past 9 years) - will definitely stay here again!

One of my very best experiences with vacation home rental. Rental process was smooth, questions answered timely and Roxanna was great with information on the property prior to check in, and when we had two minor concerns, she addressed immediately. I could not ask for better service. The House: Great, great location. Walk across the street, through the gate, down the boardwalk to the beach (there are steps down and over the dune, but very manageable). Beach area is posted as private, you only have a few people in the area so you can spread out and enjoy (no pop up canopy in this area). Would recommend you get beach service, set up early every day with your name on it, and you are ready to go. We had 14 people in our party. 5 couples, two teenagers, an infant and a toddler. Bedrooms are all nice sized, each with private bath. Common area is ample for everyone to hang out either at table or on sofa / chairs, and half-bath close. Pool is fantastic and large for a rental. Outside covered areas on front and back are great for morning coffee or evening talks. Parking out front for 1 and in back for 3. House has pretty much everything you will need. Highchair and Pack n Play were welcome and in new condition. Drying racks to hang towels and wet stuff by pool were nice and helped to keep things neat. I could go on, but bottom line: great house and location, excellent customer service. If we are in the area again, we would stay here.

This house was better than we could have imagined. It was spacious, clean, perfectly located, and had great amenities. The private pool and hot tub are perfect and if you are a beach goer it is just steps away to the private beach. My only complaint during our stay was that the electric grill was not functioning so that changed our meal plans but we made hospitality aware so I'm sure this will not be an issue going forward. Hospitality was extremely responsive and was focused on make the stay enjoyable.

This was a fantastic house. This was our third house in Destin and by far the nicest we've stayed at. Perfect location being right across the street from the beach with private access. Convenient store, coffee shop, surf shop, restaurants and ice cream all within walking distance. House is laid out very well with big kitchen and bedrooms. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful house with great accommodations! Really easy access to the beach. The beach was beautiful! The pool and hot tub were a great supplement to the beach. The location of the house was very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. We had a fantastic time and would very much recommend this property!

This house is an amazing and awesome home away from home!!! We spent a week there. I Didn't want to leave, but I know I have that to look forward too September 2017. I go every year with a large group and everybody had their own accommodations. The house has a private pool and hot tub. Beautiful views from the balcony; walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach is across the street. The house is well maintained!!! We didn't have one issue with anything in the house. Absolutely beautiful house! We have a large group that goes every year and this house has Plenty of room for everyone. Private pool, hot tub, private beach access across the street. The house as large open kitchen, dining and living room. The views from the house are not bad either!! You are within walking distance of store, restaurants, several souvenir shops. Can't wait to go back soon!

There was so much room is this house! Even for all 13 of us!! The house was great inside and out! Just a few short steps from the beach! We are all so excited to call this our new beach home!!!

Our group from Louisiana go to Destin every year for vacation and we have found a perfect place with this house! It has a great pool and hot tub, every room is gorgeous, with a balcony on each floor and beach access within a few feet of the house! This is one of the nicest beach homes in the area! If you are looking for a place for the whole family to stay, check out this home!! It has its own private pool and hot tub and your private beach access is just across the street! A multitude of bedrooms gives the options to bring the whole family or simply a weekend getaway with your spouse! The owner is very helpful and will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable! We will definitely stay here again!!!!

I've rented many many times from VRBO. This one definitely in the top 3 experiences! From location to their kind service and great communication--this was perfect! This house was perfect for our group of multiple families with lots of kids! The pool was awesome! The location was perfectly across the street from the beach with easy access making the many trips to the beach with small kids easy and enjoyable! The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was clean and comfortable! Thanks for having us--we will definitely be back!
