Was so peaceful and beautiful. Wanted to go on hikes but the cottage was just so nice to stay at and look at the view. Canoe and kayaks were great to get out on the water.

Nancy was very quick to reply both through initial contact and throughout my stay and also greeted me when I arrived. She provided excellent local suggestions and was totally accommodating to my particular situation.
The cottage and location were spectacular, the cottage was pristine, very cozy and had everything you would need. The views are beautiful from anywhere in the cottage and on the property, it's extremely peaceful and very relaxing. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer.
Nancy is a stellar host and I am very grateful that she shares this property with others so that they can also experience the magic of her place.

Solitude on the waters edge. Yes, there are neighbours, if you call not seeing them, hearing anyone or being disturbed in any way having neighbours! Our getaway was absolutely perfect. The weather was amazing. The cottage was quaint and beautiful. The location is roughly half way between Algonquin and Ottawa, so it was in just the right spot. Clean and quiet. Cozy and serene... Thank you Nancy for sharing your cottage with us for a few days.

We had a very relaxing time. Cottage is very nice with an amazing view of the lake. The beach was very nice, we swam in the lake on September 11 and it was warm. Water is crystal clear. We will definitely be going again.

The beach was perfect. Very close to the cottage, beautiful sandy bottom, slow descent from shallow to deeper which made it perfect for playing frisbee in the water. Water temperature was warm and inviting every day and the water was crystal clear. Small kitchen, though well stocked and set up with everything you could need so functioned well. Livingroom is a nice open space. View from every room and window was spectacular. Property owner was very quick to respond on every communication and very pleasant to work with. Wonderful place to stay !!!

We had a wonderful, quiet few days here. It felt like we had the lake to ourselves.
Thankfully there was A/C during the hottest days of the summer so far.
The lake was fabulous, clear and calm. A nice little beach and sandy bottom. Nancy was quick to help us when we had a little trouble with the bbq. I would book this place again.

This was our second year staying at Nancy's cottage. It's a great spot for kids as there's a huge sandy beach and the water is shallow for 20-30 feet from shore. A wonderful place all around! We've already booked again for next year!

Stayed for a short getaway with my son and out 1 year old puppy. It was everything we hoped for! Beautiful cabin and surroundings, clean and comfortable. We all enjoyed the lake being just feet away from the door. We will definitely book again. A total 5 star experience that we will recommend to everyone.

The Cottage is beautful, it was clean and well stocked with essentials. The beach and lake are clean, perfect for swimming. The Cottage has two kayaks that we enjoyed using.
We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds in the morning while drinking our coffee.

We read, we napped and we reflected on life.
Our puppy Bowie learned how fun swimming can be and how cozy a fire is at night.
We watched the lake for hours and gazed at the stars. We truly enjoyed the moments this place gave us.
Places like this remind you to slow down and take time to pause.

We stayed over a weekend in September and loved our stay! WE got lucky with the weather and were able to spend the days in the water with our dogs. The cottage is as described. The bed was very comfortable and it was so nice to fall asleep listening to the waves. We would love to visit again in the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin, despite the cool, damp weather. The spacious living-dining area features a large picture window with a spectacular view of Round Lake. Due to the weather, we were unable to take advantage of the beach and firepit, although we did use the canoe for a paddle along the shoreline (two kayaks are also available). The cabin was spotlessly clean, and Nancy responded immediately to a couple of questions. Highly recommended!

The lake, beach and views are incredible. The lake is super clean, water is clear and it's very calm, no waves in sight.

The view from the cottage is truly stunning and the little gardens are lovely! However, being so exposed to the sun, the cottage does get hot inside on sunny days; definitely keep the curtains closed during the afternoons.
On the first day, we paddled to the Foy Provincial Park (day use only) it was a paddle trip around the big point to the right and a little further from there along the shore.
On the second day we drove about a kilometre to the park sign and walked to the beach along a beautiful trail.
The best swimming is right at the cottage with shallow water perfect for young children. Maybe we will be back some day with the grandchildren.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the beach cabin. What a beautiful place to rest and celebrate. Beautiful clean clear water, sandy beaches and a woodsy area to walk our dogs. Every day a family of loons visited us along with monarch butterflies. The cabin has everything you could possibly want. Nancys attention to detail is amazing. Highly recommend!

This was our second year staying at the cottage and was just as amazing if not more that first year, lake is beautiful and clear, property is private and there is a provincial park just down the road that we hiked everyday. Can’t not say enough good thing about this cottage

We had such an amazing week relaxing together as a family! The lake was beautiful and so quiet and we absolutely loved the views from the cottage windows and deck. It could not have been any better!!

We really enjoyed the cabin and the views from the front window were stunning. Water access is great as the cabin is steps from the lake with a sandy bottom and shallow as you wade out. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and it was a wonderful week of relaxation. Lots of loons, turtles and we saw some bald eagles.
The air conditioning was a blessing on the days it was hot and humid. Thanks for everything.

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway
The property was absolutely beautiful! The beach front and fire pit with chairs were perfect for relaxing in. The cottage itself was very clean and well kept with amazing views! On the days that it rained my husband and I were able to catch up on some Netflix shows and then watch a movie that was already there that he hadn’t seen in years. The location itself was perfect too with being so close to different little towns and we even were able to go to Ottawa for a day when it rained. We didn’t need to communicate with our host Nancy while we were there but whatever communication I had with her before our trip was good, she was responsive and very helpful. Overall It was absolutely perfect and we definitely hope we can come again.

This was our first experience renting a cottage. Looks exactly as per the pictures. Host was very prompt to answer and solve our wifi issue. Cottage is cozy and clean, lots of little extras were provided in case we forgot anything. The lake view is stunning from the dining room and the firepit area is super nice. Kitchen is small but effective. The lower level is practical to feel outside but sheltered from the June flies ! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back sometime.

The view of the lake from the dining table was all that mattered to me. Everything else was icing on the cake - cleanliness, coziness, proximity to lake, kayaks, canoe, and the host! Excellent weekend - going back for sure!
