This cottage is stunning and located on a quiet stretch of the Bonnecherre River making it a perfect spot for all of the water activities included with this rental. We really enjoyed the new hot tub and all the amenities were wonderful.The hosts are incredibly responsive and their attention to every detail is appreciated. Will stay here again for sure.

Wife and I and our friends grew up in the area so it was not anything new for us.
Place to relax and visit friends. Beautiful and private place to relax. The only issue is taking out the trash when leaving, check out is 11 am Friday and the dump does not open till noon on Friday unless you don't mind smiling for the camera at the gate other wise everything was fantastic.

My family and I had an amazing time at this resort for one week in August. The cottage was clean, well-stocked and welcoming. The owners put a lot of thought into making this cottage family friendly with lots of board games, outdoor games and water activities. A great place to vacation!!

My friends and I loved our short but sweet stay here. The cottage was clean and cozy, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was no shortage of things to do. The yard and shallow river was great for our dog to play in. We didn't find many hikes in the area, but did enjoy spending time on the property. The hosts provided us with plenty of information, it's clear that they care about the guest experience. We will be back for a longer stay sometime soon!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at the Riverside Retreat! We were able to bring our dog and we all enjoyed swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, and relaxing.
The cottage itself is very clean and well stocked. The property is nice and large with room to play lawn games and a great fire pit. It’s located on a quiet part of the river and a quick canoe trip can get you to Round Lake.
We would love to return to this cottage in the future and would recommend it to others!

This was our second time back at the property and the owners improved on an already great stay.
Adding AC units and an extension on the dock along with a new canoe were just some of things that we used pretty much every day during the week we stayed there.
Knowing the area a little bit better (and minus the Covid restrictions), we ventured out some more and found even more activities to do.
Such a beautiful rental and we are looking forward to another return visit (fingers crossed for next year).

Riverside luxury cottage
The cottage is gorgeous and it is very peaceful with almost no neighbours. Lots of canoes, kayaks, SUPs, to enjoy.

Lovely property, nice communication with hosts. Great place to stay with our adult kids and spouse in winter with the warm wood stove!

Certainly was a retreat on the side of a river
This log cabin had everything we needed. Very comfortable and extremely clean. Wifi was strong and Netflix was great at the end of the day. Quiet and with lots of space. Although there were only 2 of us, the 3 bedroom can easily accommodate more. Hosts were there if and when needed. No issues here, highly recommended.

Great place for family vacation
It's a very beautiful Cabin which are front facing Round lake, we were enjoying a lots of things there, Kayak, ride boat, and sat around the fire at evening.

Hard to beat retreat
Spacious and comfortable with plenty of outdoor room for activities. Great swimming and kayaking with many different natural creatures including birds (herons, woodpeckers, thrushes swallows) turtles, toads and even deer. Even good biking around the lake.

Roundlake heaven
We enjoyed having everything we needed and all the space we had for everyone. The lake was clean and beautiful. Lots of water fowl and song birds. The water was just bareably warm enough to swim but the sandy surface was amazing. Would be great for kids too.

Serenity Now
A truly wonderful and well-appointed cottage, in a serene location, with excellent hosts! Nothing more could have possibly been asked for during our long weekend away from it all; and somehow the owners managed to cue different batches of wildlife cameos for each day of our stay: white swans, wild turkeys, blue jays, and flocks of returning wild geese galore. Beautiful location and cottage.
My wife and I stay here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Covid changed our original plans to visit Hawaii but we were very pleased to stay at this location. The cottage was beautiful and clean. It had everything that you would need to make your stay great. Dealing with Jenn was easy and pleasant. While there, we took the time to explore the area and venture into Algonquin Park. All of which was breathtaking. We would love to return during the summer or fall to take advantage of the kayaks and explore the river. We would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you for making our anniversary extra special!

Gorgeous cottage!!
We LOVED our stay at this river side cottage! The cottage is new, clean and right on the water with a beautiful large deck! Jennifer and Rob were great hosts. They thought of absolutely everything we might need (and more) and we’re super responsive and friendly. Would definitely go back! It exceeds all expectations!
