This was such an amazing place to stay, and Barbara is by far the most welcoming hostess. Every detail has been thought through for her guests comfort. It was so nice to come back to what felt like a warm home after a long days work. I Highly recommend staying here!

Barbara’s casita was perfect for my short business trip to North Scottsdale. Quiet neighborhood and close to all places I needed to visit. Barbara and Wayne are very personable and attentive hosts. The casita even had a charcuterie platter and wine waiting for me! Excellent!

Great secluded location in Cave Creek. Beautiful property, nice layout, private entrance, very well equipped. Barbara was super friendly, really enjoyed the bottle of wine and charcuterie she left for us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We came down for the weekend to visit our son. Loved the location..... quiet, secluded, felt like we were out in the country but close to so much! Barabara was a super hostess, recommended dinner places which were great. The casita was clean, well stocked... snacks, charcuterie, wine, hospitality was everywhere. Private patio, pool and casita were exeptional. We will return!

The property was lovely and very peaceful. Barbara and Wayne are the most pleasant and sociable hosts. Barbara provided a very nice welcome cheese and fruit tray along with many staples. After a late arrival, she insisted on sharing her home-made beans and cornbread, which was delicious. She is the most enjoyable lady. Her added little touches were so amazing. I will be back in the future.

I stayed with my dog Winston and had a great stay. The place is set up for everything you need, definitely check in before shopping, it’s probably already there. Wonderful communication with Barbara and Wayne. Will be back when it’s a little cooler!!!!

Cozy place, very comfortable. Barbara was a great host - easy to work with, responsive, and she thought of everything - even a tray of fruit, cheese, and salami in the fridge in case we arrived late and needed refreshment.
The shaded patio is a wonderful place to sit with morning coffee before it starts to get hot. Our dogs loved the large, level back area - fully fenced and accessed right outside the door - to chase balls. There was even a portable gate we could put across the patio entrance if we wanted to keep them on the patio with us. And the quiet neighborhood (acre+ level lots with ranch homes and some horses) was a good place to walk them on leash.
Wi-Fi was good, air conditioning worked well. The casita is mostly below ground so it stays cooler in the summer.

My husband, small dog and I stayed at this wonderful 1 bedroom casita. With a beautiful outdoor area and private pool in a very clean very comfortable well stocked accommodation what’s not to love. Super hosts Wayne and Barbara are awesome, super helpful to share information about the area and there if you need anything but also respectful of your privacy. Situated in the cool area of Cave Creek close to hiking, restaurants and shopping, it’s a no brainer. Book , you wil be glad you did. Thanks Wayne and Barbara!!

From the minute we got to the property we were impressed! The host met us on arrival and kindly went over all the important details and gave us a tour! She also had fresh pastries and a chucuterie tray waiting! Its these special touches that set them apart! We Loved sitting on the covered patio every morning listening to the bird's and watching the wildlife.The space was perfect size with all of the comforts of home.The pool was so relaxing and private, with beautiful landscaping! Pictures do not do this property justice! We will absolutely be back! Thank you Wayne and Barbara!!!

This was a beautiful property that exceeded our expectations. The pictures did not do it justice. Barbara met us there to help with the check in process and show us around. She had made a delicious charcuterie plate for us, had bottles of wine, snacks, fruit, milk and eggs in the refrigerator, as well as fresh bagels and pastries for the morning. We travel quite a bit and love to use VRBO and can say Barbara was the most accommodating hostees we have ever had. The Casita was charming, spacious and extremely clean. The bed had very nice linens and was so comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and just as nice as any resort we've stayed. Honestly, there was not a single thing Barbara didn't think of to make our stay comfortable.

Barbara and Wayne are wonderful hosts. The property was very comfortable and fully stocked with everything, including water bowls for our dogs. They had a beautiful charcuterie tray and some pastries there when we arrived. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was ideal, really well appointed and very friendly hosting from Barbara. The patio was lovely for sitting out and watching the humming birds We liked that the property was a little off the beaten track but still easily accessible to Cave Creek, Desert Ridge and Scottsdale. We would definitely look to come back next time we are in the valley.

The space, the amenities and the warm and friendly hosts made this our best vrbo experience to date. Barbara and Wayne have thought of literally EVERYTHING you need for a high end yet homey stay in a beautiful part of AZ. The thoughtful details like welcome wine & cheese board, ultra comfy bed and the most incredible outdoor space makes this a perfect choice for your stay in the Scottsdale area. We can't wait to go back!

We've stayed at a lot of different rental places and this one tops the list! Barbara goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and the casita was well equipped with everything you need. The pool area is much larger than the pictures show and is spectacular. And the private patio is awesome with TV and comfortable seating. We stayed for 3.5 weeks and hope to return again soon.

Barbara was very accommodating and provided many extras that other VRBO renters do not. Location was great, the pool area was outstanding, wish we could have stayed longer. Huge fenced in yard for our dog to run. Wish we could have stayed longer. You do have to take in slow on the road coming in as there are many ruts in the unfinished road but it is worth it.

It was an amazing experience! Barbara was beyond helpful in every way! She allowed me to show up early to leave surprise gifts, balloons, and flowers for my girlfriend before she came into town. Barbara even went as far as to locate and arrange beautiful sunflowers (my girlfriends favorite) before our arrival. They were professional, the property was clean, affordable, and I can't wait to go there again. There's so much to say, and I don't want to leave anything out... Let's just say, it was PERFECT! This was our second time staying in Barbara and Wayne’s casita. We go to AZ every winter and this is the best place we’ve stayed thus far. Everything is just perfect and we love the gated yard for the dogs - plenty of room for them to run around and play ball. Unfortunately, their place rents easily so you have to book early. Apparently we’re not the only ones who know about the best place to stay in Cave Creek!

The pictures for this casita are beautiful and still don't do it justice. Barbara was there when we checked in, the casita was immaculate and she prepared an appetizer plate for us for when we arrived. We had full use of the back yard and pool plus our own private patio with grill, fire pit and outside TV. She had everything there that you would ever need. The bed is so comfortable that we actually got a full nights sleep which never happens for us. What a pleasure to stay here and to meet Barbara and her husband Wayne.

We had an absolute wonderful time. We were there for a short two night stay. The place was excellent and even better than advertised. The pictures don't do it justice. You couldn't ask for better hosts too. We felt welcome right away upon arrival. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

Barbara's hospitality was excellent. The Casita was perfect for our family of four.
It was blazing hot and she was still smiling during our mini tour of the home. The place has all we needed and more. Several of our friends visited us here too. The pool was perfect with the extreme heat over 110 degrees. We had outdoor umbrellas and natural shade from the trees. Our boys and nephew enjoyed the pool toys. A diving board into a 13ft pool was a treat too. We would totally recommend this place.

This lower level apartment is nicely appointed and comfortable. It is well located in north, North Scottsdale to access all of the resort golf courses, plus amenities and activities south along the Hwy 101 Loop. Located in a more rural, horse owner's neighborhood, the lanes are not paved. And, the photos gave us the impression of a ground level "Casita" (small house) with direct access to pool and veranda.

What a wonderful place to stay! We loved everything about this casita and would definitely stay there again. Plenty of space for a couple, with all the amenities you would expect, and so much more. There’s a comfortable, well-appointed. patio, with fans and lights and nice sitting areas, and a gas firepit. Beautiful plants everywhere! A gorgeous pool area for your exclusive use, I felt like I was at a private resort! Top of the line furnishings, towels and bedding, and so many extras for my convenience, like Alexa, charging stations, and fresh flowers to greet me on the table. We really enjoyed our stay.
