We had a great weeks stay at the house- lake was beautiful and warm, caught a few fish, close enough to visit our family nearby and the beaches as well, we went on hikes and rented some bikes in Kennebunk and overall had a great vacation! The owners and property manager were quickly accessible and responsive, the house is much bigger and more beautiful in person!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pine Hill Cottage! It was such a comfortable house with many amenities. We have rented in this area for many years and found this location to be very convenient to all of our favorite activities. Thank you for our fantastic vacation.

Property was very nice. Had some problems with the cable tv but was resolved. Overall the stay was excellent!

We loved our stay at the lakehouse. The only thing that could have made it better is if there was central air conditioning. We did utilize a window unit for he master bedroom upstairs which made sleeping comfortable, but central air would have made it even more comfortable throughout the home

The house was nice and clean. The owner and property manager were very fast to respond and helpful. Nice size deck with a grill and we also enjoyed screened porch on rainy days. We had fun swimming, fishing, and canoeing on nice days. Everything was as described and we had a wonderful week at this property.

This is a great house for a family vacation. It's got a nice open floor plan, and has a very "Maine" feel with the decor and the wide plank pine flooring. The fishing was fantastic from the canoe, as well as, right from the dock. Many Bass over 3 pounds. There is only one air conditioner for the upstairs bedroom, but it wasn't installed. While most of the time in Maine, A/C isn't necessary, it would probably be beneficial to have that in for the summer. It was very humid through our stay. Overall, we had a great time, and would come back again. Alexander was very attentive to all questions and any needs.

Property is beautiful, well maintained. The kitchen is organized and thoughtfully stocked with every tool and pan you can think of prepare great meals. The lake is quiet and peaceful. A perfect place to fish or enjoy canoeing. Beautiful scenery and cute little towns within 20 mins. Definitely will be back!

We loved our week at lake arrowhead. The home was clearly loved and well cared for. The house, lot, and location were great. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in years.

The house was well kept and included a bunch of fun stuff. For example there was a canoe, kayak, all floatation devices, game, fishing equipment, etc. My family had a great time.

The property was wonderful. We enjoyed swimming from the dock every day. After the last couple of years, it was a very needed break. Thank you again.

We (three adults and three children) had a wonderful week at this property. The home was just as photographed, very modern and a great use of space. We liked the open concept on the first floor, the screened porch, and the loft for the kids to sleep in. The views from the primary bedroom and the first floor were lovely. The lake was very nice. We swam and kayaked daily.

Everything was perfect! From the beautiful home, to the stunning lake that was warm and perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We wanted to relax, BBQ daily, have a fire pit nightly, and have room for family to come and go. We got it all at this home!

We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again. The home was perfectly set up for our family. It was clean and right on the water. Can’t wait for next time.

My family absolutely enjoyed ourselves at this beautiful home on the lake. We have four teen boys that found a love for kayaking and fishing! Fishing was top notch! We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything you need to cook from Lobsters to grilling. The owners were very generous to leave what we needed to maintain the property. They were also always available to answer all of our questions. It was nice to explore Maine and the surrounding areas as well. Thank you for letting us make lifelong memories at your beautiful home on the lake!

We had a delightful time at the cottage. The fishing was great especially for children off the dock. Catch & release. The cottage was spotless and fresh. We enjoyed our stay.

This property was exactly as advertised and we had a wonderful time with the kids by the lake. The community has everything you need, including an indoor pool for inclement weather, but the house was clean, comfy, and convenient. We loved using the kayaks and caught some great bass right from the dock! Highly recommend.

Parking was not an issue and the lake was awesome. At night it quiets down and even during the day it’s pretty quiet which is precisely what we hoped for. There’s a great playground within walking distance that we took advantage of when we weren’t swimming or kayaking. The Bender’s really make you feel at home. Just an awesome place and owners. The home was clean, efficient and easily accessible to Arrowhead Lake. We fished a lot, rested a bunch and overall took the time to relax.

The home was clean, beautifully and comfortable decorated. We loved having easy access to the lake and our boat with the dock. One favorite spot was the screened in deck where we could sip our morning coffee or read a good book. The kitchen was stocked with most everything you would need to cook, the beds were comfortable, and we all loved the fire pit! Smore's by the fire pit, boating on the lake, blueberry picking close by, lots to do away for the house as well, so much fun. The children loved the indoor and outdoor pools at the association, along with the playground. Alexander and Patricia were so easy to correspond with, responsive to any questions, and made sure we had a detailed summary of everything we would find at the home, including someone local to contact should the need arise. The house was very nice and very clean! It was so nice to be able to view the lake from the house and to go down to the dock as well. Neighborhood was quiet and well kept. Alexander and Patricia were very nice to work with and they and the management company were responsive to our questions. We had a nice quiet family vacation week and we would definitely stay here again if going to Maine again.

We just returned from our stay here on Lake Arrowhead. Everything about this trip was fantastic. The Benders were wonderful to work with and responded to our questions quickly. The home was very clean when we arrived, and was exactly as described. We spent almost all day everyday in the lake, either swimming or in the boats. Although at first we were concerned about pulling the heavy canoe up the hill every day, it actually served as a great buffer from the lake and provided privacy, and being out on the lake in the canoe was totally worth the trip up and down! The screened in porch was a fantastic place to relax when we weren't out by the fire at night. I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing and laid-back getaway with family! It was just far enough away from the rest of the world, but still close enough to run out to the grocery store or to the Lakeside Market for a quick meal or essentials. We went out to Ogunquit for a day, which was an easy drive for a day trip, but spent every other day on the lake - the kids had a fantastic time fishing, swimming, jumping off the dock, going out in the canoe, and roasting marshmallows. The atmosphere of the entire community was very welcoming and peaceful, as there were no loud parties, or late night noise that you might expect to hear echoing across a lake. I would return there for vacation again without question!!! Thank you so much to the Benders for allowing us to use their house to make memories and get some family time!

First let me say dealing with Alex and Patricia was a pleasure and totally professional. They checked in what us to make sure everything for our vacation in the home is going smooth. The home looks like it was just built. It is SPOTLESS and the furniture and beds are comfortable and clean. We spent most of our time at the fire pit or the screened in porch. By the way I can’t wait to screen in my deck, it was so peaceful sitting out there at night. Lake Arrowhead is a good size lake for kayaking. The house sits in a small cove that keeps you out of boat traffic, not that there is a lot. It was great for using floats off the dock. This lake is not a tourist destination. It’s mostly local Mainers so come Monday the lake gets quiet which is great for that morning kayak ride. Bring a flashlight for the walk at night from the house to the dock. It’s dark when using the stairs. This had to be one of the most relaxing vacations we had in a long time. We did get day trips in to Portland and Kennebunkport for shopping and seafood but most of the time was spent at the lake. If you want a week of relaxing and decompressing from your normal routine this is the vacation for you.

We loved our stay in this home. So clean and peaceful. The fishing was great, and the fire pit was lots of fun with the family. Everywhere we went in Maine, the people were so nice. And, at the end of the day, it was nice to come home to this restful retreat. We hope to come back.
