Nice place but there are rules to be followed quiet time by 10 pm neighborhood security will give one warning 2nd visit you get a fine. No spa after 10pm which is on balcony facing street, no amplified music. Parking for 3 cars 4 would be difficult. You need to walk up stairs to get into home which means your carrying all your stuff- suitcases and ice chest up stairs and more stairs again once inside since main living area is on second floor. No back yard but that wasn't a deal breaker.

We stayed at this property with friends for a relaxing weekend getaway and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The cabin is wonderful, plenty of room for the 5 of us. We enjoyed the game room and jacuzzi! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the the dishes, pots, and cooking utensils we needed to enjoy our stay. Keith was amazing and answered all of my questions! Would definitely stay here again!!! Hated leaving!

Loved the views, balcony, furniture on the balcony, the hot tub, 2 King beds, plenty of bath towels, lots of dishes and pans, comfy couches, large kitchen table, porch swing, location, games downstairs. We enjoyed the birds all around in the trees and small chipmunks. We loved how quiet it was at night as well and could even hear coyotes in the distance. We appreciated the lighting on the stairs interior and exterior. Wonderful cool nights made for a nice sleep. Plenty of cleaning products were available, including dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap and paper towels. Plenty of TP and hand soap. Even though not all the bedrooms had ceiling fans, we appreciated that floor fans were available. We liked being close to walking trails and town. Would of loved to have had, thicker or darker curtains for light blocking on bedroom windows, hammock on 1st floor balcony, crockpot, kitchen towels and hangers in the closets. Would appreciate more room in the closets, which were filled with clutter, and suitcase valet for unpacking so that we wouldn't have to use the bed or floor for unpacking our suitcase. Also, cleaning crew needs to dust a bit more (vents, fans,mirrors) and wipe down kitchen counters. Maintenance may want to check garbage disposal, which was very loud, and upstairs bedroom was missing a screen. Also, several of the light fixtures in game room were missing bulbs and the dart board would not turn on. Overall, this was a great mellow vacation with friends and the location to town was super. Neighbors were close but quiet. It was great exercise going up the stairs to the home. The host was very responsive, and we felt secure if we needed anything he would be available. Checkin was super easy. We would come back to the home again.

Great Cabin with everything you would need. Very comfortable, and private, with great views, and fun game room. I would stay here again, for sure!

We enjoyed the cabin overall, but it was missing some essential kitchen cooking utensils like a spatula, mixing spoons, and towels. Bring extra fans during hot months as it gets hot inside. Hot tub on the deck was relaxing.

This house is in a perfect spot for skiing. It is a good size for 8 people. The problems begins with the lack of good mattresses and bedding( downstairs queen mattress is shot, springs are broken) enough cutlery and wine glasses ( there were three when we arrived) for the number of people staying in the home. Housekeeping is in need of a change of leadership. Bathrooms clean, kitchen clean but most things were dusty and not well kept. We found cigarette buts everywhere outside on the patio and all over the yard. Not great for the Easter egg hunt. We also really enjoyed the pool table a shuffle board game room downstairs. This house just needs the owner or management company to check on it once in awhile. Again great location good size just needs major updates.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is close to town and the slopes, has a great view, and the house is cute. Our only complaints were that it needed to be cleaned better and the thermostat was very different in the rooms from chilly to hot, and there were no extra blankets other than throw blankets. We also wished the hot tub had been heated because we couldn’t use it the first day we arrived. We also needed wine glasses, so we donated some for future guests!

Our stay was good little smaller then we thought. Rooms are small. The one thing that can be a lot better is the kitchen cleanliness. There’s lots of old food from past guess even an opened popsicle on top of a chicken nugget boxed dripping on it. I would recommend to throw away past guess food especially when it’s already open.

Great time. Great location. If staying here you may want to bring a few kitchen towels, pitcher, utensils and bowls. Otherwise, it was stocked well. Will definitely be back!

We came up here to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. We chose this location because of the proximity to the slopes. The cabin had everything we needed and was super clean. The kitchen did lack some things, but we made due with what was available. Definitely could use some additional staple items, but for the couple of days we were there it wasn’t a problem. The views of the slopes were great and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. All in all it was an excellent experience and we would definitely come back! Oh...user error figuring out the TV’s in the bedroom, but Keith was very responsive and was able to help figure out the problem. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful property In a great location with magnificent view. Everything was perfect except the kitchen. Kitchen could use some deep cleaning and additional dishes, utensils and cookware. The rest of the property was very clean and well-stocked with towels and linens. Had a fun time and would recommend with a few kitchen items.

We had a great time on Keith’s property! The views are great and the cabin was nice and cozy. We got some snow while we were there which made it even more fun! Keith is also extremely communicative and was super quick to respond. The cabin is a little smaller than the pictures show, and we had some issues with the hot water but it was nothing too bad to where we didn’t enjoy our stay. We also wish we had known about the 2 car limit (covid protocols in Big Bear Lake) sooner but other than that we had a great time and were able to figure it out beforehand! We would totally stay here again!

First time to rent a cabin. Loved our time there and we plan to return!!!

We had a great time at this property for a long weekend. We had four adults and 4 young children at the cabin. Beds were very nice, amenities very nice and hot tub worked great. Very close to the slopes, you can see out the front windows. We stayed in the summer and there were some nice paths to hike. My only negative would be, I thought the location was more secluded. The other properties are close and you are in the middle of a neighborhood. Wanted more in the mountains and alone. Great place though.

I booked this cabin for my mother’s birthday and my family absolutely loved it. - Location is great: short five minute walk to hiking trail. Ten minute drive to lake and grocery stores. - Great View - Awesome outdoor deck hot tub. - Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. - Spacious kitchen Suggestions: Bring your own salad bowls, cooking oil, spices, plates and cups (depending on family size). Although they provide the basics, items are limited. All in all, I would definitely come back and book my stay here.

My family enjoyed our time here. My wife loved the feel of being in the tree tops on the big upstairs deck. My kids loved using the telescope to see the moon! For a summer trip, it was only a few extra mins to the lake compared to other places we stayed. There is a great hiking trail just around the corner which was convenient and fun! As others noted, the stairs can be daunting for some, but not an issue for a young family. Backup cameras are definitely helpful with the driveway or don't pull all the way in ;)

Loved the game room, puzzles and outdoors. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. Note: 24 steps from parking area to front porch and a flight of stairs to living area Beds are very high. Not for anyone with physical limitations.

Great place! We missed a few kitchen items though, like a larger salad bowl, more plates and serving dishes. During the pandemic, we weren't eating out as much. Otherwise, no worries.

We, a 7 member carefully protecting family agonized mid Covid 19 about a place outside our two homes to for the first time retreat to. We normally go to Pismo Beach but worried re crowds and a much less than usual experience. We hit upon a mountain experience all in the same cabin. We weighed close to lake and Village with a 5 star rating and 5 star slightly more isolated experience. We hit upon Keith's "Snow Cabin" (in June) with a partial view of the Bear Mountain lifts slope. Our experience was amazing! (1) each of the 4 bedrooms has a flat screen TV and blue ray/ streaming capability. (2) The main upstairs open kitchen/ dining/ wood burning fireplace family room area sports a 70 inch flat screen with streaming capability (and we even for a time attached a nintendo Switch game console). (3) The lower level game room sports a new slate pool table with a rack of cues, a table top shuffleboard and a dart board, plus a large flat screen with the same capabilities as upstairs.. (4) the place surprises you at every turn with Big Bear and art work/ art sculpture decorations. (5) The 7 person spa on the top deck really seats 7 and in a pinch would seat 8. We prefer 98 degrees and good company, but its capable of much more. (6)Stellar (blue) Jays will flock to your upper railing should you post unsalted peanuts there (available at Vons and local stores.) (7) the grill is Weber, natural gas, and unlimited. (8) The appliances, including Kitchen and a steam washer and dryer work well to accompany your spa tub activities. Would say more, but out of space! Go for it and thanks Keith for special touches! This property was incredible. The entire rental process was super easy. The house was clean and had just about everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The pool table and games were in great shape and gave our group plenty to do. I would definitely come back to this place again, hopefully during winter next time. Thanks for the great weekend getaway.

This was the ideal getaway walking distance to the bear mountain resort. Cabin is well furnished with new appliances and has everything you could want for a family trip. Big enough for two families.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. As previous reviews mention, it’s walking distance to Bear Mountain for skiing. Plenty of room for us, the kids, grandparents, and a couple friends without being cramped! Waking up to a view of the slopes with a cup of coffee in hand was dreamy and oh so good for the soul. Enjoyed the deck, hot tub, pool table and shuffle board! Three of the 4 rooms are big enough fit a pack n play on the side or foot of the bed for those traveling with babies/toddlers :) will certainly stay here again!

Very nice, well appointed house. Great game room downstairs and a nice big deck off the living room with awesome views of the mountain. We really enjoyed being in the jacuzzi soaking in those views! Kitchen was stocked for cooking. There are a lot of stairs as accurately pictured in the listing. Owner was easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Got lucky and arrived before 36+ inches of snow dropped. Beds were comfy. Place was ready for us. We made lifelong memories sledding down the hill. Electronics were a hassle. Couldn’t get DVD player to work. We had to shovel our way out. I would come back. Jeff
