This was a family stay- 7 of us, all adults, and I can’t recommend it enough. The property sits on a hilltop outside Ramona, CA- about 40-45 mins from San Diego Airport. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, in an exceptional property, but still an easy drive from all San Diego’s attractions- book this property! The house is spacious with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. Everything is in top notch condition. Tile, marble, and space! Everyone has all the room they need. Outside the back of the property is a large patio and grilling area, with a hard to describe view of the valley below. The view alone is a fantastic feature of this property. All one level, so no issues for my parents getting around. We loved spending days in San Diego, and coming back for an evening of grilling, games, and just spending time together on the patio. Another highlight was watching the meteor shower that was going on- perfect hilltop location out of the city. Can’t say enough good things about it. Communication with the owners, Darryl and Sandi was great, and we already miss the property. Hope to stay again sometime.

Perfect location - far enough out of the city for privacy but close enough for easy access. Beatiful views, well equiped kitchen, and the owners were very responsive in answering any questions.

What an amazing property! The house is comfortable, spacious and clean, well-appointed with everything you could possibly need. On one floor with a wonderful outside living area, we loved the long views as well as the amazing yard full of flowers and boulders! We spent much time hanging out outside. It was a wonderful visit, we hope to return soon. Many thanks!

We had 10 people stay in the house for 9 nights. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Any minor questions were answered by the owners immediately via text. The location provided peace and quiet, outdoor hiking, and was close to San Diego tourist attractions. We had a great time and would recommend this place for anyone wanting to enjoy time with family and friends.

Cant’t say enough accolades for this property. Beautifully designed single story home perched atop a mountain with stunning views of valley and other mountains. Honestly I could have spent our entire week in the back just reading and taking in the view. So relaxing. Backyard had some many different spots to hangout with a large family group. The inside was well appointed with modern kitchen and huge walk in pantry. We made all of our dinners here and never had to go out. The family area was good to gather round the fireplace and play games, watch movies, read, or just relax. So much room for everyone with the 5 bedrooms. Would highly recommend and we would stay again if we ever come back this way.

The property is lovely. It was perfect for our family and the groomsmen for our son’s wedding. It was immaculately cleaned. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were all very comfortable. The views are spectacular and there was multiple seating areas. Thank you!!!

Exceptionally well maintained property. Beautiful views of the Boulder covered hills and valley. Plenty of space inside and out. Equipped with everything we needed for a fabulous family Thanksgiving. We had family fly in for our daughter's wedding in Hidden Oakes, Ramona. The house was perfect! The outside too! Many areas to sit out and enjoy the view. Inside was spacious, clean and beautiful. We would rent this beautiful home again if there is another family get together!

Perfect, large, beautiful house for our extended famillly. Proximity to Woodson Castle was excellent, as we attended a wedding there. The lovely bedrooms and attached baths gave every family unit on our trip their own space. Outside space was amazing!

This is one of the best homes we have ever stayed in, beautiful inside and out! It is about a 45 minute drive into San Diego.

The accommodations were great. Plenty of room and amenities. We loved spending time in the back yard in the mornings and evenings. The owners were always ready and able to answer any questions we had including advise on things to do. The location is a bit remote, but not too far to the beaches, zoo, and Safari Park. Our family of seven were very happy with our time here.

The property was a bit of a splurge for us but exceeded our expectations. We have done many vacation rentals and this is our favorite for visiting family and friends. Having folks visit us instead of driving all over makes for a better vacation and this house is fantastic for having people over.

The property was as listed. The perfect size for my husband and I; our daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons; and son (the groom). We chose the house because it was about half way between the San Diego airport and the location of the wedding/reception. Lots of room and gorgeous views.

This house was amazing. It was everything it was advertised to be and more! The hosts were amazing kept in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a huge thumbs up from us with big recommendations and will absolutely be back!

There are so many wonderful things about this property. My husband I, along with other family members, stayed in this home and it was amazing! We were in the area to attend our granddaughter’s wedding at Cordiano Winery, and we could not have picked a better place to stay. There were 7 adults and 2 children in our group and there was so much room for all of us to relax, have our meals, enjoy the backyard, take walks in the neighborhood, and admire the beautiful view of the valley. The landscaping at this home is truly beautiful. There is also easy access to restaurants and groceries in the town of Romona. The owners were so easy to work with and ensured that our stay exceeded our expectations. We hope to be able to stay in this home again when we return to the area. Thank you Sandra and Darryl!

The home is beautiful inside and out! My siblings took our 89 year old Mom for our semi-annual outing. The kitchen was super clean and well stocked. The dinning table was large enough to accommodate 8 of us perfectly. We played card games outside in the backyard and enjoyed the beautiful view. We look forwarding to returning to this home in the near future.
