Quick weekend away with friends. Property was easy to find, good location, comfortable, and clean. The weather was cold and wet, but I’m sure in the summer it’s an even better place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage on Lake Hamilton. The view was fantastic, as if you were floating right on the lake since it was right next to the shoreline. The front porch was a great place to hang out, but even the views from inside the house were of water. We will defintely return!

Went to see the lights at Garvin Gardens, which is only about 15 minutes away. Absolutely beautiful spot right on the lake. In fact, your back porch steps go almost into the lake. It’s gonna be great in the summertime with all kind of summer sports for kids.

House was right on the water so that was a big plus! Need new mattresses! Needs a deep cleaning. Dog poop was dried under kitchen table and ants all over countertops. Owner addressed our concerns as they occurred.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved being so close to the water and watching the boats go by. Only a small issue .... sugar ants (at least that is what I know them as). House needs to be treated. We would stay there again.

We think it would have been fair for host to forewarn about amount (high) of boat/jet ski traffic which took away from thoughts of a lake side stay. The driveway leading from street down to cabin needs repairs esp if you have a stardard size or small car. It's basically a rain wash going into the lake. Some upgades should be acomplished - repair LR fan string broken, clear rqmt for other pet owners to control their animal (dogs) in their area, treat for ants in cabin primarily in kitchen, general appearance of external areas under deck and carport needed cleaning, BBQ was unclean from previous users. The guest bedroom dresser needs to be replaced ore repaired 2 of 4 drawers basically broken. More tourist info needed in host book on local activites lake and away from lake esp. any swimming areas if guest didn't have a boat. Local boat rental rates are ridiculous. Only being constructive on comments. Would not return to this location.

You could walk right out your back patio and into the water to swim. Beautiful view, enjoyed sitting outside enjoying my coffee in the mornings and watching the boats go by.

Overall, we had an excellent time and this was a great choice for the weekend. The location on Lake Hamilton was fantastic, and we rented a boat from Kahuna Bay and tubed all day in the channel in front of the house. We were able to avoid the main lake traffic and it was excellent. The kids were able to get off the boat to use the bathroom at the house while we played. The only thing that caused us a bit of an issue was that the rental stated it slept 6 people, but when we opened the pull out couch, the mattress was pretty old and dirty (stained and had dirt and hair all over it), and there was a fitted sheet on the mattress that had been used and had stains on it and a brown recluse spider. I was not able to put my 5th person (my son) on that bed because of that, and we ended up having to put him in the King bed with my daughter and I. I would definitely either get a new pullout or I would rent this as a 4 person sleeper--as it would not sleep 6 comfortably. I also cooked a large meal for everyone Saturday night and we didn't really have the right kind of baking dishes in the cabinet for roasting potatoes or making brownies. I ended up needing to buy foil pans. I would NOT let these things prevent 4/5 people from staying here. It was a great stay overall!!

The house is right on the water and spacious. Easy access to swim and water activities. The sunrise and sunset views from the front porch are beautiful!

My husband and I enjoyed the house and lake overall. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch and watching the sunrise plus the geese floating along - take some mosquito spray. Our fur babies enjoyed hanging out on the front porch with us as well. My husband’s main complaints were the high boat traffic which made it very difficult to fish, the driveway was very steep and a little rough going down and back up, the deadbolt needed some oil to unlock and lock the door, so we made a trip to the store to find WD40. There was a huge lab without a collar that ran up the porch several times - thank goodness he was a gentle giant because our fur babies are old and small. Overall, we enjoyed the house and the lake view from the porch and windows, plus it was pet friendly.

We loved this house that is right on the water. Just step off the porch and in the water. This is our second year staying here and it is perfect for our little getaway weekend on the lake. The water access is perfect. The house is clean and everything worked as expected. My only wish is that the house was bigger so we could bring more friends!

Rental was exactly as described. Beautiful lake view. Driveway is a little bumpy but manageable.

We just had a wonderful stay at The Shore House! You can’t get any closer to Lake Hamilton. A fully stocked, very clean and comfortable home that is reasonably priced! Owners, Mark & Gigi are wonderful people that are friendly and easy to work with! This was our third stay and we will be back! Thanks for sharing this little piece of paradise! ❤️

When they say "on" the Lake, they really mean it! Walk out on the front porch, and you are literally steps from the edge of Lake Hamilton! Hosts are responsive, home is clean and comfortable, and the view is beautiful. Quiet and relaxing on the property, yet close enough to everything in Hot Springs to keep things interesting. We will DEFINITELY stay here again when in the area!

Really enjoyed our long weekend. House was great and close to everything we wanted to see and shops. Owners were very nice and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay. When not fishing off the dock we sat on the covered deck - ceiling fans were great! - and watched life on the lake go by. Our black lab loved the water.

Just perfect for our stay. We walked in unloaded and off to the races and at the end of the day it was just so comfortable and inviting. We talked about a return visit when maybe there is a festival and explore Hot Springs - Also break out that grill and make some steaks! Would recommend anytime!

It was amazing. The water was so peaceful and the view was gorgeous. Lots of windows overlooking the water. Beds were really comfortable too. I usually have trouble sleeping in other beds but I slept like a baby.

Beautiful property in a great walkable neighborhood 15 minutes from hot springs downtown. I loved the view and the home. Thank you both.

We loved our 7 days at the Shore House. The view from the deck is beautiful and we enjoyed the reflections on the water and the color changes in the early morning and late afternoon. The property was very clean and everything was just as described. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. If we ever come back to Lake Hamilton, we would definitely stay her again.

We thoroughly loved this little lake house on Lake Hamilton. You are literally less than 5 steps to the water. The house had everything we needed for the stay. The furniture in the living room was so comfortable and so was the king size bed. Best of all, was sitting on the deck in the comfortable chairs watching the boats and geese go by! We would definitely stay here again when coming to this area.

Four sisters had a great time making memories. Great deck to hang out by the lake. Close enough to the sites of Hot Springs. Would definitely stay here again! Although that drive way is a bit rough😳

Shore House was comfortable and the perfect place to relax away from the hustle bustle of daily life. The 2 chairs outside by the lake was a nice touch to watch the boats go by. Beds were comfortable, great water pressure and WIFI was great. Mark and Gigi were awesome in communicating about how to find the place and the check in process. Some suggestions are maybe clean the cobwebs outside on the deck before anyone arrives. Curtains or covering on the door by the deck and better shades in the bedrooms. Also, it is hard to watch the TV in the bedroom with the posts of the beds blocking it. We actually found this hilarious. These are all suggestions and this will not stop us from coming back here again. We loved it here.

Perfect for our 2 night stay! The house was well decorated, clean and had everything we needed. They've made some nice updates to the landscaping near the water, which made the view that more inviting. The water literally couldn't be any closer, our 2 dogs loved it. We had a chance to meet Mark and he couldn't have been any nicer. Thank you for the great stay!

Great Location and beds are very comfortable. Will come back in the future. If you rent a boat check out Great White Rental. They will bring the boat and tube to you and then come and pick it up. You don’t have to fill up the tank before they pick it up. The gas is in the price of the body. Really great people and service.
