The cabins are equipped for budget friendly rental.

Our stay was comfortable, with a good distance of walking to Lobster fest. Our room was pretty clean, provided all the amenities mentioned, and even soap and towels. There were some leftover, used things of soap that were still in the shower area from visitors past. It was hard to find our place at first, and even as I was sitting in my hammock one of the days, some visitors had to ask me to help them find their building. But overall, once we got settled it was a great spot to stay at.

This was horrible. Made a reservation online for $100.00. It said they deal in Belizean money. Ok. Turns out it was in U.S.D. I got delayed and showed up at 10:30pm on a Friday night. No office open, nobody there. Called customer service and the lady said payment didn't go through-apparently they needed to know if I was there on business or vacation! The street isn't well lit and people are walking by and looking at me. A few talked to me for a bit while I was on the phone with customer service. One was drunk and asked for the keys to my motorcycle! Finally the payment went through and they gave me a code but didn't give clear directions on where to go. The lady on the phone wanted me to try to open the door to a place with laundry and lights on! I commented about what I saw and she said to try anyway. This is past 11pm by this point. Then I heard voices. I refused.then she sent me farther into the Cabanas to try another building. Pitch black out. I saw laundry but no lights. Told her what I saw. She said "That ones yours" and told me to try the code. No code box there. Tried to open the door and I here someone quietly say "There's someone here!" from inside!!! I apologized and promptly left. I asked the customer service if she thought this is safe. She got quiet and I said "Hello???" A guy said "Hello" from another building. I asked if he managed the place and he said he could help me even though he didn't work there. He got me into a place. Took about an hour or more total. As I lay down that night listening to the springs in the mattress (And FEELING them) I thought "NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN!!!"

The area is quiet and in easy walking distance to shops, the beach and restaurants. We used the kitchenette to cook a couple meals. We used the hammock and chairs on the veranda. It is very basic but adequate for our needs.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this VRBO. While the property itself was okay, despite a few cleanliness issues; the noise level prevented me from getting much sleep. There was a loud party next door that ran until well after midnight, combined with the fact that the property is right next to the road with motorcycles and other vehicles going by all night it made for an unenjoyable stay.
