Upstairs is a living room, a kitchen, & our favourite space, the outdoor covered porch with comfy furniture. The street is quiet, but only a few minutes walk to Upper Duvall. We were able to walk to some of our favourite Key West spots - La Grignote, Banana Cafe, Seaside Cafe, Blue Heaven, & the Hemingway House.

The property is clean and comfortable for 4 people you want to be with. The porch would be fabulous with a sunshade - perhaps it’s the time of year/angle of the sun but it was too sunny/hot to use the porch from noon until 5ish. Location is an easy walk to attractions. Unfortunately, the one huge negative for us was the very loud music coming from either the house behind us or the nearby night club. Music literally vibrated our bedroom walls until 4 in the morning. Not exaggerating.

This is a nice place though very compact. The bedrooms are large and the balcony is great. The living area is small but nice but the kitchen is tough as it is very small. We stayed for 11 nights so we used the kitchen a lot. If you are only staying a few nights it is the perfect place Thus is an excellent location

Key west is beautiful and the house is perfectly located to get to nice beaches, Duval street, Sounternpoint and hemmingway house. The kitchen is a little small and we missed a pot for cooking but this is solved by the rental office in the meantime.

The house was exceptionally clean and was well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our family also rented Grand Maison so we had the whole property. It was great for the 10 of us. Parking around Key West is tough, so don’t waste time getting a rental car, just Uber. They are readily available and the cost is usually $10 or less.

First time in Key West and we fell in love with the island! This house was perfect for the four of us and the location of the house was the best part walking distance to just about anything we needed. Highly recommend!

The lovely home was sized just right for three adults- and immaculately clean. The kitchen was just big enough to make drinks or snacks and the patio was a favorite hangout. Would recommend or stay again! The customer service was also great- answering questions via text and stepping in when the internet went out.

Great communication throughout booking and check in! Clean, great decor and ammentities. Loved the location and able to walk where we wanted. Parking was a bonus for our golf cart rental. Would love to stay again.

Cute 2 story, 2 bed, 2 bath cottage. Ideal for 2 adult couples. Plenty of space and well appointed for our needs. Off street parking, awesome working A/C and newer appliances made us feel at home. Cindy @ HKWVR was amazing with superhelpul tips and close attention to our comfort and relaxation. The golf cart rental made the difference for us. You can get just about anywhere on island in mere minutes.

We enjoyed staying at Petite Maison! It was spotlessly clean, very cute and comfortable. The location was perfect as we were in town for a wedding at the southernmost point. Thanks for the great accommodations.

Reviewer Comments: Though the square footage of the unit is very small, Petite Maison was comfortable, just off Duval and had all the amenities needed for a nice stay. The ensuite bedrooms have king beds and are both downstairs on the entry level while the kitchen, living area and balcony are on the second level. Bedrooms have blackout curtains and ceiling fans and the air conditioning works very well. The staff at HKWVR was very responsive and helpful each time we reached out. We enjoyed our time in Key West and would definitely recommend HKWVR and Petite Masion to anyone.

It's a convenient location.The thing for all to keep in mind is that this is a small house. We gave the "primary" bedroom to guests visiting with us and our bedroom, while it had a nice comfortable king bed had little else. No chest, dresser or closet. There was a clothes rack attached to the wall but really no room to unpack our clothing other than night tables on either side of the bed.It is very clean and has a lovely little porch off the upper floor where the kitchen and living room is located but the view is of a small alley street.The home was neat and clean. The kitchen table was good to keep some things on but too small for 4 guests to eat on, not that that's a big deal as when in KW one tends to eat out at the wide variety of restaurants. All said, I would recommend this property to somebody who understands what they're getting and what they're not getting.

It is a great house for a family of 4 with 2 college age sons. Close enough to night life but away from the noise.

The home was beautiful and in great condition! It was very clean and comfortable. The overall vibe and decor was so nice and beachy, made a perfect impression for the Keys! And the large second floor porch was perfect for morning coffee! We had a group of 4 (2 couples) and we would definitely come back and stay here again. The location was also stellar, just off Duval street (50 ft) which was super convenient for all restaurants, shops and bars.

What a great location, 1/2 block off of Duval and close to everything but quiet at the same time. The pool was amazing to cool off from the heat and humidity. The air conditioning worked great, the place was spotlessly clean. We couldn’t have found a better place than this and we will return here for future visits.

The place was designed with a creative eye and representative of Key West's chic beach aesthetic. Checking in was a breeze and it was clear from day 1 that Historic Key West Vacation Rentals was available for anything my friends and I may have needed during our stay. Close to Zach Taylor beach, close to Hemingway House, spitting distance from Southernmost Point. Some may feel that the location is a bit removed from the wild nightlife of Duval St. and Mallory Square, but I found that to be a blessing. It did take a few minutes to walk to the action but it felt great to get away from it once the night was done. I would recommend this place and stay with this company again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed sitting on the porch every evening. The management company was very nice and easy to work with, and we had a wonderful time during our stay. Two things you should be aware of when renting: first, neither taxis nor pizza delivery people can find the place, even if you give them complete directions. There is another Thompson Lane in Key West, and most navigation systems will lead them there. We ended up having to meet all taxis and delivery people on Duval Street after they gave up looking for us. The nice neighbor who lives across the street told us she always had the same problem. Second, we planned to cook most of our dinners while we were there. The kitchen is really lacking in supplies. There are nice pots and pans and a at least one casserole dish, but it would be nice to have at least one serving bowl, more utensils, a set of knives, some cooking trays, etc. The table in the kitchen is ok for two, but since there were four of us, we had to move it out to the living area and drew up extra chairs. It was a little tight, but we made it work. Of course, if you're planning on eating out most meals, this will not affect you. Overall, this was a great little place for a getaway, and we have fond memories of our trip.
