We absolutely packed too much for our trip. Unlike regular beach rental properties we didn’t need to supply our own chairs, a wagon, golf cart, sand toys, canopies, umbrellas, boogie boards, bicycles, pool toys, kitchen appliances, seasonings, and more!

4 couples and 2 kids spent a glorious week at South Padre Island with this home as our base of operations.
While we weren't directly on the beach, it's just a quick and easy 5 minute walk (or a 1 minute golf cart ride) down a quiet street, across another quiet street. The beach access has no stairs and was never crowded. However, if you like a more rowdy scene, the Wanna Wanna beach bar is just down the road a few more minutes.
The house itself gave each couple plenty of privavcy, but then we could all come together in the big living room and kitchen or down by the pool. Nighttime in the pool was one of our favorite parts. Thanks to great lighting, kids could play while adults grilled fresh fish and just relaxed.
The owners and managers were incredibly responsive. I had two questions when we first arrived and they texted me back answers within 5 minutes both times.
Note: The fridge doesn't have ice or water in the door so make sure to get bags of ice and bottled water because SPI tap water is pretty rank. Otherwise, the house has pretty much everything you might need. The golf cart, which we rented, was perfect for running errands or getting everyone to the beach.

The property was clean and offered all kinds of amenities. The property managers were helpful whenever I had a question open a need. We enjoyed our stay at the residence.

Family Vacation with Adult Children and Grandchildren. The property was exactly as described and was perfect for our group. We really enjoyed the pool and bar area. We were in a quiet part of town with a very short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. The place was beautiful!! It had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach supplies. It was well worth renting the golf cart to easily get around the island. The manager, Mariana, was amazing. One of us lost their wallet at airport and she made she we got it back in time to travel home. Thanks again Mariana!! We will definitely be back and recommend this place to others!!

Very relaxing time at Fire Henrys on SPI, house was clean and very well appointed. That cascading hot tub, pool and the backyard garden made you feel as if you were in a tropical paradise. The weather was a bit of an issue but the property manager was on top anything that arose because of it. The golf cart was a kick to get around the island and we were fortunate to be able to use it.

This house was perfect for our group. Very close to restaurants, activities and the beach. We would definitely stay here again. We rented the golf cart which was awesome. The only thing that was a concern was the air tag on the golf that we didn't know about. A heads up about this would have been nice.

Great location. Enough room for the family. Please not the other downstairs bedroom does not have bathroom. Guests either go upstairs to use a bathroom or have to walk through master bedroom to use a bathroom. We made it work but is disappointing to those family members. Other than that and making it all work out we enjoyed the hot tub pool area and close proximity to beach! Walkable and great.

This house was great for our family vacation! Plenty of space, beds and bathrooms! We traveled with 6 adult and 5 young kids. We all loved the backyard/pool area! The baby items (high chairs/pack and play) and beach/pool toys were an added bonus! Short walk to the beach. Highly recommend renting the golf cart as well! It was a wonderful vacation!

Backyard is a tropical paradise
My family has vacationed on PSI many years but this was our first time staying in a vacation rental property and it was amazing. The house is spacious, very clean and full of amenities. My family liked the open concept living space that gave us room to be together. We loved having endless beach towels, beach and pool toys, chairs, boogie boards…basically everything you need for fun in the sun at the beach and pool. The location is great and very close to a nice beach access. What attracted me most to this property was the backyard and it was exactly as shown in the listing. The backyard is a tropical paradise with the pool, hot tub, flowers and beautiful lighting. We had to drag the grandkids away from the pool and hot tub. The golf cart at the property was a plus. We enjoyed taking it the beach and scooting around the island especially for our nightly ice cream runs. The owner (Jason) and property manager (Mariana) we’re both very responsive and helpful. The only suggestion is to put a TV in the room with the bunk beds. We had such a wonderful vacation and we have already booked this amazing home for next year.

Perfect 10 for family vacation
Absolutely love this house, pool, location & accommodations. It was perfect for our family vacation. PLENTY of space. Grandkids especially loved having a private pool at all hours. Perfect location with just a quick walk to the beach (beach toys at house too) And prop managers were just a text away if we needed anything.

South Padre House
The location of the house is perfect, minutes walk from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is nice, the backyard pool is amazing! The only complaint we have is the cleanliness of the property, it is not clean and really needs a good scrubbing. The walls and doors are black, the floors were not clean and the bathrooms/showers were not clean. Overall, we had a great time but I would definitely suggest a very deep clean and upkeep.

Worked well for family with kids
Great location, golf cart was a nice option to get around on island. Beds are comfortable and plenty of towels. Having beach toys and chairs for beach was very convenient. House was clean and stocked with most things you would need to stay. Could have used a larger nonstick frypan.. the ones that are there didn’t work well. Beautiful pool area and having it heated was a great treat. Some areas of house could use some minor maintenance (towel hook in master suite) Painting touch ups and wooden steps outside rough on feet. Would recommend!

Great stay
This was our first visit to South Padre Island. The communication with the owners was great. I definitely recommend renting the golf cart. We used it to get to/from the beach, stores and restaurants. The outside set up at the house was great, even on rainy days we were able to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub. This was a multi-family get together (meeting our future daughter-in-law's) and it was very comfortable for all involved. You will not regret visiting this gem.

Great location
This property was perfect for our family. Even though the beach was so close we had most of our fun in the spa and pool.
There was only one bedroom that didn't have it's own bathroom so mornings weren't too crowded.
Hoping we can stay there again sometime.

Enjoyed the quite neighborhood!
Great location, short walk to beach. Found a few things that needed attention at the property that were quickly addressed. The only real complaint that we have is that the trees got trimmed one of our first days which made a mess of the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, centrally located place to stay while exploring the area.

Amazing oasis
We loved this place! The house was great and the backyard pool/spa was amazing! We found ourselves enjoying the backyard every day verses adventuring out to the beach or other excursions. We had a perfect vacation and would definitely rent this place again!

Family Vacation
This rental was perfect for our family of seven. We loved the backyard patio, pool, hot tub, along with indoor space and accommodations. The location was also perfect, just a short walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a trip to SPI.

BEST PLACE EVER!!!!
We had our annual girl's trip here and it was AMAZING!!! the property is gorgeous and the amenities were great! We have voted and want to make this property our annual place to stay. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Rented the golf cart and had the time of our lives! This was just what the dr ordered for these wives and mothers to get away to a quiet, tranquil, not to mention beautiful place! We will definitely be returning!

Had a few minor maintenance issues, other than that we'd stay again. We loved it. Close to beach and close to everything.

We had a Family get together with 2 Families and we had plenty of room for 11 especially since the kids wanted sleep in the living room . The Backyard with the pool and bar is amazing and we spent a lot of time there. We had a great time on the Island and the house with the golf cart made it even better!

Two weeks in SPI
We fell in love with the pictures of this property when we started to look at summer vacation rentals. The home was fantastic. There was room to spread out as well as congregate together in the kitchen and family room. The pool was used every day and there were many amenities to use for the beach and the pool. The house did get rather warm during the day with the way the Nest system was set up. I would highly recommend the property for families and adult gatherings.

We loved the house and pool. Very nice. Lots of room. A few broken things that should be fixed. Coffee machine did not work well, but it was a great vacation and a beautiful house. We all enjoyed our stay. I recommend this VRBO!Thank you!
