This was a wonderful stat for us. We head to the Keys a couple times a year. Nice pool, jacuzzi was under construction, but the grounds were nice and the rental was great! Everything you need to cook, spices, blender, toaster, coffee pot etc. well supplied. They had plenty of linens and towels. The bedrooms were nice and for once I can say…. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and so were the pillows! After a busy day it was nice to sleep in a comfy bed like home! They also had a crib, high chair and playpen for our 11 month old granddaughter. Makes traveling so much easier. They have kayaks and paddle boards, some fishing gear, but we didn’t use it. We were out in Marathon with our favorite Guide. Todd with Snag & Drag Sportfishing, although I hear there’s plenty of great guides in Islamorada as well!!! Thanks again for the great hospitality!

The stay at this unit could not have been better. To start, the owner was outstanding during the entire process. From the initial contact prior to booking to the communication leading up to check-in, I could not have expected more. As for the unit itself, the unit has everything you need for a great stay, full stocked kitchen, adequate space for relaxing, wonderful pool and deck area. I defiantly recommend this unit to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

We have stayed at other places on vbro and this unit is by far the best unit we have ever stayed in. If you're wanting to be in the Florida Keys, this is the place to stay. Nice small beach for the kids, and close to go either direction for restaurants. If I knew the dates we could go next year, I would have paid my deposit while we were there. My kids work schedules drive our avaible dates and they don;t know year what their vacation windows will be for next year yet. Can't go wrong by staying at his place.

What a great place , perfect set up for us, beach , beautiful Resort style pool, paddle board and kayaks included. if you want a great place to stay in Islamorada , this is it , across the street from the Square Grouper sunset bar and walking distance to several Restaurants and bars. Nice , very well maintained in a gated community with covered parking for multiple vehicles. We already reserved for next year !

It was our first time traveling with our infant son. Steven had everything! Even a crib and high chair which is a dream for new parents. The condo was fully stocked, super clean, and an amazing location. He also sent over his son to help us get settled with the infant items. The community spaces were always quiet and clean. We will definitely be back. It was truly the best experience we could have asked for during a first trip.

The condo had everything we needed. It was comfortable, relaxing and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed the pool, dining and shopping. Lower bedroom was perfect for me since stairs are a problem. I would recommend a safety bar in that bathroom. The owner was available for any problems but it all went smoothly. Very clean and updated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at Steve and Kathys condo, Sunrise Haven. No detail was overlooked and they go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. The location is just perfect, as we visited Key West, but spent most of our time in Islamorada. We cant think of one negative thing to say and we definitely will be booking another vacation here again. Thanks again Steve and Kathy!

We had a wonderful week staying at Sunrise Haven - the home was lovely and well kept and had everything we could possibly need. Steve and Kathy were lovely to work with and very attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property!

Condo itself was outstanding. Super nice and clean. Fit our needs perfectly. Pool was really nice. Only thing I would recommend is checking to see how bad the Sargassum grass is on the Keys. When it washes up it creates a horrible smell that you can smell about anywhere on the islands and coats the beaches making them basically unusable. This is an issue for all the Keys, not this specific property, but if hanging out on the beach is a big deal for your trip you need to check first to make sure it is usable.

The unit was perfect, and the view is marvelous. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the evenings looking out over the Atlantic. The place has everything you need for a vacation stay. The multi-unit property is well maintained, and the pool is very nice. The owners are committed to ensuring your needs are met. Steve has put together an extensive list of places to see and good restaurants in the area. In the unit, should you need something, it will be found in one of the well labeled drawers or cabinets. All of the light and fan switches are labeled and that makes it easy since the place is so big. The owners have it all together on making sure you stay goes off without a hitch. As for the location - centrally located in the Keys and 90-minute drive to Key West. We rented a boat from Robbie's which is a must experience destination. We definitely recommend this rental and may return in the future.

The place was very nice, clean and comfortable. Pool was great. Couldn't swim from the beach because of the seaweed and shallow water - the only down side. we went to the keys to snorkel and we were able to see amazing fish and coral by taking a couple of tours and renting a boat.

Perfect home, property and location for our family trip! The condo is lovely, well-appointed with everything you need at your fingertips. We travelled with our adult children and spouses and we all found it comfortable and plenty spacious. The pool and beach area is beautiful... literally a private resort! What a plus to be able to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards! The property is convenient to so many restaurants and activities too. We look forward to a return visit!

Our family vacationed for the first time in the Florida keys and we had a fabulous stay! Steve was very responsive with our questions and any advice we needed regarding activities, fishing spots and restraunt favorites. The condo was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We all slept well and the coffee pots and kitchen supplies were all well organized and in good condition. Overall a 10 star review! We had a wonderful stay. Not only was it distinctly decorated, but the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you needed for large meals. The place was very clean, had lots of towels (beach and bath), plenty of room to relax and books to read and share. We left our non perishables there (ie: paper towels, hand soap, garbage bags, etc) as you can tell others have too. You can tell the owners put a lot of time and effort into making this place very homey and comfortable. We look forward to another stay in this gorgeous home.

We absolutely had the best vacation in Islamorada. The weather couldn’t have been better, but more than that, the accommodations were top notch. The condo is just lovely! There isn’t anything more we could have wanted, except for a longer vacation! No one wanted to leave. Steve left no stone unturned in his binder of information about the condo and surrounding area. Excellent suggestions of places to go, things to do, where to eat, etc. We took full advantage of that. His son, Jeff , met us upon arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful in showing us around and answering any questions we had. This was our first trip to the Florida Keys and already we can’t wait to go back. This vacation exceeded way beyond our expectations. Our stay was amazing! Communication from the time we booked throughout our stay was excellent. The unit and property exceeded our expectations. The unit was very clean and a fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Very convenient location to marinas, restaurants, and shopping. I highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future

You can't help but relax and enjoy. The location is perfect. Close to restaurants and everything that Islamorada has to offer. Having a beach, dock, hot tub and fabulous pool is more than one can ask for. The unit has a perfect view of the ocean and was meticulously clean and well stocked with everything you would need. We also took advantage of the kayaks and paddleboards that the owner provides. What a fun time! Can't wait to go back.

My stay at this property was excellent from start to finish. Steven was an excellent communicator. The property is beautiful, spacious, excellent amenities and perfect location to everything in Islamorada.

We loved Sunrise Haven! We stayed a week at the property and it worked great for our family of 5 adults. The condo is exactly as pictured and described - only better. The condo is fully stocked and had everything we needed. Steve and Kathy were quick to respond to our questions and very helpful. We watched the morning sunrise over the ocean from the balcony, spent afternoons snorkling off the beach and used the paddleboards and kayaks. Saw lots of fishes, nurse sharks and a manatee in the lagoon right off of shore. The location is close to lots of good restaurants. Pool and hot tub were warm and beautiful. Can't wait to return!

We decided last minute to go to the keys with another family for lobster and fishing and came across this condo. We decided it would accommodate the two family's. We could not have been happier with our decision. The condo was perfect. Location, size and spacious for two families. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware. The amenities are amazing. The huge pool with two sun shelf's, dock, grill on the beach (yes a beach with sand in the keys), hammocks, etc. We kept our boat across the street at Angler House Marina. People there were great. Looking forward to going back

Our family enjoyed this condo very much. The kitchen fully stocked. The view from balcony was lovely. The master bed too soft for our taste and darkening blinds need to be added to all rooms. Outside lighting is on continuously. Bring eye mask if you are accustomed to sleeping in a dark room. Unfortunately we had someone remodeling windows and the noise was not ideal for napping or sleeping in. Thankfully Steven contacted the owners of the condo and the workers began after 9 am rather than at 8 am. We learned all about sargassum seaweed and the nasty smell it creates when washed ashore. It seems past few years the beaches in the Keys are getting covered in it! Overall we enjoyed the pool (it had awesome features) and the grill and hammocks. The paddle boards and kayaks were also a bonus! Thanks Steven for your hospitality.

Sunrise Haven is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect and comfortable. We had everything we could possibly need, from flip-flops at the door, to big, fluffy beach towels, to a fully-equipped kitchen! We loved the home, the pool, and the location. Our plan was to drive straight to the Keys and then socially isolate as much as possible, and this gated community with only a few other occupied units made it easy. We met a few fellow vacationers at the pool but were able to chat from six feet apart, and we cooked our own meals in the gorgeous kitchen and avoided the restaurants except for take-out. The condo was so beautifully furnished and comfortable that no one felt like it was a hardship to stick close to home, and we made some great family memories. The only sour note to our week was the huge field of sargassum (seaweed) build-up on the beach, which was massive and had probably accumulated over the months when the Keys were closed to visitors. It made the beach unusable, both from the depth of the rotting seaweed and the awful smell, and we couldn't launch the kayaks or paddle boards from the beach, or really even sit in the hammocks or walk down there. The property manager said that the homeowner's association only budgeted to clear the sargassum from the beach twice a year, but more removal is definitely needed in heavy sargassum years--especially since all of the public beaches were closed over the July 4 weekend so there was nowhere else to go for beach access! But even with that one little hiccup, our stay at Sunrise Haven was awesome and the owners were friendly, accommodating, and so thoughtful! Thank you for a vacation we will never forget.

Steven is an excellent communicator and an extremely kind landlord. I highly recommend this lovely spot.
