A good walkable location. Can’t best the view! Loved it

We has a group of about 15 and we reserved the 2 bedroom condo and the 5 bedroom condo. Both units were wonderful and our hosts are the best I've ever had!! Been and Marta are accomodating, easy to work with, and provide a truly exceptional vacation experience. We loved watching the dolphins play while we sat on the patio, drinking coffee in the morning and the sunsets are like works of art. We had such a great time using the bikes, boogie boards and other beach toys. Our rooms were comfortable and all the furniture is quite nice and so are the linens. Everything is clean and well maintained. The units were unbelievably well stocked with everything you could need. The location is perfect, right in the beach and a short walk or bike ride from the bay. There is food, shopping and entertainment within walking distance. We will come back every chance we get!

I love this rental unit. This is my 2nd stay in this unit. I have stayed all up and down the boardwalk and this unit is by far my most favorite spot yet! The view from the unit is fantastic. The host and hostess are THE best people I have met there yet! They are very responsive and go above and beyond to provide everything one could ask for in a beach stay. I will definately be staying again.

Our visit to San Diego was awesome because of our stay here on Mission Beach. The hosts were excellent, the house was incredibly clean and well equipped , and the view , location, beach and sunsets were perfection. This was exactly the respite our family needed. We all decided on day 1 we have to come back someday!

Very comfortable, right on the beach with excellent sunset view. Arguably the best location on Mission Beach. Everything you could need for an outstanding beach week. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We spent 2 weeks on ocean front walk. Outstanding house extremely clean but most importantly the owners. Ben and Marta went above and beyond!!! New friends can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended their property!!

The apartment is in a great location with an amazing view of the beach, parking is also very good. In the height of summer it would be a fun place to hang-out and watch the world go by.

We loved this rental! The owners were so friendly and kind. The best part of the rental was the view and location. We enjoyed watching the sunsets every night and loved walking the boardwalk multiple times/day. We utilized the bikes, surf boards and skim boards. We were completely entertained watching the volleyball players playing outside our condo and we even played volleyball. I have no complaints about this place!

Awesome location right on the beach with a great walking path right outside your door. Easy to get downtown or up the coast. Marta was extremely responsive and kind. House was the right size for our family of 4 and had what we needed. Some of the bedding could be upgraded, home is older and shows wear and use. Garage was stocked with bikes, chairs and sand toys. Best part is location - recommend if you don’t need anything fancy but want a great beach spot.

Wonderful location to just chill out and watch the ocean. Plenty of activity watching volleyball dolphins surfers and people. Quiet at night. Easy access to transit.

WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! Honestly!!! This property, and location, is AMAZING!!!! The pictures, inside and out, do not do this Mission Beach gem justice. (Of course, you can't hear the roar of the surf in the photos, now can you??!!) We stepped into the house, gazed out at the ocean, through the HUGE window and just giggled with delight!! :) Better than we had expected!!! It rained the first couple days we were there, and was quite windy and cool, but that made the view from the living room all that much more appreciated!! The property was immaculate, we cooked in every night and found the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, and the outside patio area was SO welcoming. The walking path directly in front of the property, and down the beach, was such a treat!!! And what a gem to the community!! After 5 days we even got to recognizing the locals on the path and on the beach! It was a real treat to meet Marta and Izzy on our final day at the rental. Marta was so extremely easy to work with, answered any questions immediately, and kept an open line of communication. That was much appreciated!! This was our first time in San Diego and we did not plan enough time to see and do all there was!! Especially because we were too busy enjoying the property and the walking path!! We can hardly wait to return to this rental!! We WILL definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your special home!!

This was our second trip to Mission Beach and staying at the beautiful beach front property of Marta and Ben. They are awesome hosts, the property is amazing and the location is second to none.

Our family of 14 rented this property and the other one. We had 8 adults and 6 kids from 14 to 2 years old. The family of 4 stayed in the smaller unit downstairs and the rest of us upstairs so there was plenty of room. The view was beautiful, right on the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Marta was an excellent host who left us wine and chocolates! Would definitely recommend!

We loved the location, right on the beach and boardwalk. Our family used the bikes quite a bit to explore the area and visit Belmont park. Easy drive to the zoo, La Jolla, downtown San Diego and many activities. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing family trip to Mission beach. This property was well stocked, clean, and the property owner was on site if needed. Plenty of beach toys and bikes to keep us busy and happy!!

First of all, Thank you Marta, Ben and Izzie for the amazing hospitality. This was my sixth consecutive VRBO vacation. All were nice, this was the absolute best. Location, clean inside and out, linens, toiletries, kitchen essentials, beach chairs, boogie boards and surf boards. My friends and I enjoyed every moment spent in this beach front unit. Marta and Ben were more than the owners/landlords of this property. I can’t wait to come back to this beautiful beach getaway. Ben and Marta go above and beyond to make time spent the best. Thank you for the welcoming wine, beer and chocolates. The perfect way to help unwind after a long day of travel to start a vacation on the beach!!!

Great location. Has all the amenities needed for the beach. Very relaxing. Close to everything you need or want to do.

This property was even better than advertised. An assortment of drinks in the refrigerator, delicious candy, and more beach toys and gear than we could ever use. Perfect location on the beach!

Our well stocked 2 bedroom apartment was great. A wall of windows facing the beach greeted us each morning. Nearby restaurants and market gave us what we needed to stay happy. We would definitely like to return. Our host was very attentive to our needs.

I've vacationed in Mission Beach for about 20 years visitng from out of state multiple times a year. From start to finish this was hands down my best experience. The place was well kept, the linens and towels were fresh and comfy and you cannot beat the view. Great location close to Saras and Capri for quick beach munchies. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and this is the first time I started trying to book again before I left! Many thanks to Ben and Marta. We hope to see you again soon!

The rental is perfect for small families. 4-5 people max. Marta and Ben were excellent hosts. The rental had everything we needed. Beach chairs, sand toys for the kiddos, bikes, etc... Right on the Boardwalk literally a 5 minute walk to Belmont Park and bars and shops. Everything we needed was a short walk away. Had breakfast on the patio. We watched the sunset from the beach house everyday. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

The 2 bedroom front apartment was exactly as described. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need including a blender, toaster, coffee maker, mixing bowls, pots and pans and good quality utensils and knives. We made several meals at the house since the view beats most restaurants. The location can't be beat! It is walking distance to Belmont Park but on the quieter end of the beach. It is also just a quick walk to the bay. The sunsets were amazing. It was nice to have access to bikes and beach chairs. I really can't say enough about this place, we had such a fantastic week. The owners are so kind and paid so much attention to the details. We hope to be back!

This was a perfect location for my wife and I. Right on the beach but away from the Belmont Park crowds. Got to watch some great beach volleyball and amazing sunsets. Marta and Ben were wonderful. We used the supplied bikes and beach gear. They had surf boards, boogie boards, coolers etc... Beds were really comfortable, kitchen was well equipped (though didnt really use it). We could not have been more pleased and look forward to returning.

Owners go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. From the wine and chocolates to the good toilet paper and fluffy towels. Beautiful sunsets, close to restaurants and shops, beach and volleyball right across the boardwalk. Also great central location to so many tourist spots. We used the bikes a few times to ride down to the shops and restaurants. We’d definitely come back.

If your looking for a quiet, comfortable setting a mere 4 steps from the beach, this is the place for you. Ben and Marta could not have been better hosts. All the little things were in place. Comfortable bed, soft towels, and even a bag of dark chocolate candies I love ( How did she know). The grounds were pristine . The views stunning and when we left the area by car we seemed to be only minutes to any of our other destination. No matter the size of your group, this building has the room for you. We would go back in a heartbeat.
