The location was great, very close to the beach

The apartment was damp and smelt moldy. Moisture damage on the walls and a bad smell in all rooms.

Great location really close to Santo Amaro beach. Really close to the supermarket and McDonalds restaurant (just next to the mentioned beach). Location, private free parking and a private swimming pool shared as a special option for all property guests - the 3 top most important things I remember from that stay. Beyond this the apartment was really spacey, clean and functional with many amenities including washing machine (1 tab was provided by the apartment hosts). The pilot for the garage gate was a big plus especially that the street was usually crowded. The host was really helpful and friendly and he explained almost everything. The printed book with all necessary and extra sightseeing information was really helpful. During my stay it was quiet at night (I was located at the ground level). OTOH I heard from time some high heals and other sounds from ceiling from the other guests at some point so it all depends with whom you share the same property. It could be a bit more noisy.

The parking entry and the gate itself was a bit narrow so it was a bit problematic to get out of it. Initially, we had some problems with the weird door keys (in the shape of a cross) as they need to be placed in the lock only in one specific combination. That was not something that the host explained in detail but we figure this out ourselves (so not that big deal). The one thing that I dislike the most was the CheckInHome system that was sending multiple notifications about automated check-in and about the survey many many times to you. The information that were provided in the emails (by Rita) and other hosts from CheckInHome were a bit chaotic and their integration with booking.com messages and notifications was not so intuitive. In the end also I should receive an apartment upstairs (no 6) but I think I was checked in with the apartment at the ground level (no 7).

Location was great and facilities in the room were well thought out.

Dirty sticky floor, sofa and chairs. Noise from other residents unbearable at times, constant door slamming, loud talking on stairs, smoke alarms going off, terrible if you have young children! Also we left our little boy's teddy bear behind by accident under his pillow and they ignored several immediate requests to try to locate it, so clearly just binned it - nice!

Size, cleanliness, ability to provide a baby bed upon request, friendliness of hosts when calling and when receiving us. Flexible, neat, had good available kitchen and bathroom things (cutlery, pans and plates, toilet paper) and a great shower. We felt very comfortable with our little one there.

Warmth of the blanket and bedroom windows to road (so I didn’t feel I could open the windows while sleeping to cool off the room). The baby bed location was right under the window and therefore in a very bright location (the curtains let light through on the sides). But we also didn‘t move things more ourselves for the two nights that we stayed and could probably have asked for a different blanket but didn‘t. So overall would say it was an excellent stay despite these little things.

We lived on the ground floor. The apartment is large and we very much appreciated the 2 bathrooms. It was also great to be able to walk out of the apartment directly into the garden. It is 5 minutes to the beach and about the same to the train stop. The neighborhood is a residential area with no restaurants (not counting McDonald's). The home was wonderfully equipped. We were given tablets to go with the dishwasher.

The house has been nicely renovated, but it is an old house with old ceilings through which you can hear everything. For the first few days we had several young men living above us and although we never saw them, we could hear through the ceiling that they were Spanish and liked to party. For the rest of our stay we were lucky to find a quiet couple, but even then their every move could be heard. We were glad there was a washing machine and washing powder in the apartment, which was combined with a tumble dryer, but it didn't dry very well.

It's a spacious apartment. We loved the comfortable beds and the little garden area. We were provided a baby bed and a high chair without extra cost which we appreciated.

The ceiling is not soundproof, this disturbed us a couple of times at night.

the property is in walking distance to the beach, the village, the supermarket etc. The kitchen is very well equipped and having a washing machine is a huge plus. The air con works well.

The pillows could have been better, the pool is very small, more of a soaking tub.

What a great location! 2 minute walk to the beach. The apartment was very comfortable,clean and very well equipped. Would recommend it to anybody!
