We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have ever encountered in an vacation rental property. Access to beach is also great!

The house was beautiful and perfectly located. Mary was an excellent host. We would definitely stay at this home again.

I recently stayed at this beautiful Galveston property and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The house is spacious, well-appointed, and the hot tub was a fantastic touch. The location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas, but still just a quick drive to everything we wanted to do. The beach was only a short walk away, which was a huge plus for us. The house itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary appliances and cookware, and the living areas were cozy and inviting. The owner was also fantastic - responsive and easy to communicate with. They provided clear instructions on how to access the property and were available to answer any questions we had during our stay. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Galveston.

Quiet location. Property as advertised. Liked that there was a grocery store within walking distance for incidentals. Beach was also within walking distance. Location is not near the highly commercial area of Galveston but also not so far away that it took long to get there.

Good location if you want to get away from crowds. Very short walk to the beach.

Excellent condo

The host is super communicative and helpful. Because of the cold weather we had some trouble with freezing water, but that was quickly resolved and didn’t negatively impact our stay. The host was so helpful and the space was beautiful. We loved the views, the open kitchen/living/dining space for meals and family time and the quick access to a calm and beautiful beach. We would definitely rent this space again.

Everything was great except for the weather. The street behind the property were flooded the whole time so we were not able to walk to the beach. However, Mary really does care about her guests and it really shows. Overall a fun family trip and would stay at the honey-hole again.

Beautiful property!! This house was so clean and well stocked. We absolutely loved the hot tub and the beds were very comfortable. The beach was a short 2 minute walk and the weather was perfect! Thank you for sharing your home, we had a wonderful time!! Would definitely stay again.

This well maintained townhome is nicely laid out with the two comfortable en-suites on first level and a third full bath one floor up on open living level. Those baths as well as kitchen are newly redone and nicely appointed. There’s light and some views from every room. Outdoor spaces were our favorite. And there are three of them, each beautifully set up for gathering and lounging. Quite a few random rain showers soaked areas but they also dried out relatively quickly. Beach is close, wide and raked clean. Recommend Shrimp n Stuff food truck nearby at front of Jamaica Beach and for in town, Katie’s Seafood House on harbor. My five stars double when it comes to the rental owner. Mary offers her fabulous home for others to enjoy and she is kind, considerate, attentive and a wonderful owner to rent from!!

GREAT place! Super clean. Everything is labeled and instructions are everywhere for a simple stay. They have everything you need and are really good at getting back to you fast if you have a question. It was super fun to have 3 decks to see the ocean on, a great hot tub and really close to the beach. It was everything we were looking for.

Exactly as described. Very easy drive to Galveston‘s sea wall. Grocery store about 1 minute away from condo is a big plus.

Another memorable vacation! Mary is always the most gracious host and always in contact to ensure we have everything we need. My husband, kids and I come every year now it’s a must! A walk away from beach, and short ride to all the attractions nearby, we get to do everything Galveston has to offer in the week! Thanks for the memories Mary!

This was a great place, in an awesome location. We booked this place for a girl’s trip, and there was plenty of room for the six of us. It was cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the different balconies! A HUGE plus was the location to the beach. It was a short walk, and the beach area was very clean. Mary was super responsive with any questions we had. Hoping to bring my husband and kids here soon!!

Mary's place is a wonderful spot on Galveston Island in a very quiet community, allowing for peaceful relaxation and walks on a long, wide beach. Her place has been tastefully remodeled and beautifully decorated making it feel more like a personal home vs. a sterile rental property. Pillows galore! The primary bedroom was a sanctuary and the bathrooms were beautifully remodeled. Everything was in good working order. Kitchen was very well stocked, including a really nice Kuerig/combo coffee pot for brewing coffee for mornings on the deck. The condo feels very spacious and roomy. We did not use the TV or soundbar -- sitting on the deck and getting peek views of the ocean was enough to fill the early evenings. I've stayed in a ton of VRBOs and Mary's property was up there with some of the nicest. The only thing that would have made it better would be a couple of beach chairs and beach towels being a rental so close to the beach -- it was the first time I've stayed at a beach property that didn't offer these amenities. It was not a detractor, though, as Mary was clear that she did not provide these items and I was aware of it in advance. Having flown in from out of town, we weren't able to pack and bring beach supplies with us but still enjoyed the property nonetheless. Mary made checking in easy with a lockbox and she was super responsive with replies leading up to our visit - even allowing us to check in a bit early, which was nice. It's clear that Mary has put care into her property and it's so nice that she makes such a nice place available for travelers. Thank you!

This property was ALL I was hoping it would be! Few steps to the beach. Clean, Roomy. 3 bathrooms, well Stocked, 3 Wonderful balconies & Great Location!! Can’t wait to come back😊

Absolutely charming. The unit was smartly decorated and immaculate. Spacious and well equipped kitchen and the sleeping accommodations were awesome, with a nice hot tub on master bedroom deck. The location is perfect on the west end in a very nice neighborhood and private beach. Restaurant and grocery store within walking distance and the location not far from the state park and other scenic places. Our host Mary, was very accommodative to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was!

Perfect place outside of town. Views of beach, hot tub and stores/restaurants all very close. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The accommodations were perfect for our reunion with our daughter and her family. We spent a lot of time on the beach and enjoyed a few outings to Galveston. We look forward to going back!

Marys place is clean and amazing, communication and check in was easy. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and a great couch for movies. Views from all 3 decks of the beach, obstructed but not enough to take away from the experience and a quick walk from a semi private beach. We can't wait to return

LOVED my stay at the Honey Hole. The peek-a-boo view of the ocean was Divine and daily beach walks were perfect. The condo is comfortable and set up with everything you need. Communicating with Mary was pleasant and timely. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We came back to the Honey Hole for our 1st winter beach getaway. My wife and I stayed here back over the summer and thought it was amazing then, but with all the updates and renovations made our stay even better this time. An absolute beautiful place & Mary keeps making it better. Everything you need expect mabey a Honey Hole punch card...lol... We will be back this summer. Feels like our home away from home. Thank you Mary for making ot such an amazing trip. Relaxing in the hot tub watching the stars & listening to the waves, watching the dolphins play in the bay, was the perfect remedie after a stressful 2021.

Great place, nice and quiet. a little bit of a drive to Galveston (approx 15 mins) but close enough it was not a problem to drive. Nice and quiet, lovely neighborhood and nice beach to walk on without a ton of people to navigate. Host was very easy to communicate with. Wish there were a few more items in the kitchen as in coffee, and more than 1 extra trash bag and toilet paper, especially if you are staying more than 5 days! we had to buy out own laundry soap but there is a dollar general store just up the road! Older property but nicely remodeled We would stay here again for sure!!
