A perfect place for an entire family to get together. Ages 73-4. Everything needed was just a short walk away. Kevin is a great communicator and available for questions. If we were to go back to San Diego, this would be our choice again.

It was a great experience and an excellent location, I can't wait to make another visit.

Kevin’s property is the perfect place for a big family vacation or a friends retreat. There is plenty of room in the bottom and top units and the fun times you have on the patio will keep you coming back for more. Kevin was an outstanding communicator and made special accommodations to fit our travel schedules. We will be back for sure! Thank you Kevin!

Particularly liked the large table outside, and the long, well-equipped kitchen. Smaller of two properties would have fit our needs better with twin beds in one of the bedrooms, rather than a double (queen) . Unfortunately, a lot of construction taking place in the alley. Excellent location for our outing as it was convenient to both the beachfront and the bay, where the boat was moored and evening fireworks could be observed. Garage was a bit tight for two rental cars, but doable. Overall, an excellent choice. Thanks.

Will definitely try to stay here again if we are doing another get-together. Two families of 4 adults with plenty of space for entertaining, cooking, spending time together, or apart. The patio is wonderful. The kitchen had everything we were looking for for cooking for a crowd. The parking was excellent (have been stung by the definition of a parking space in Mission Beach before.) Location is great for beach and bay (of course) but also for the dining etc at Belmont Park. A great time.

Everything about this house worked out really well for a family of 7 adults. Plenty of room for people to have space and privacy but the common areas including the patio are great for hanging out. Really great location to the beach/bay.

We really enjoyed the Ritzy Beachcomber. The location, the furnishings and extras (towels, bikes, umbrellas, etc.) made the stay so very enjoyable. We made the most of our time there, between beach [sunset], bay watersports and hanging out, patio BBQ and evening chats [watching Sea World's nightly firework display]. Could not envision a better vacation! Family wants a repeat.

The owner, Kevin, was great to work with, We received quick replies to our questions. The property is beautiful, was very clean. If you want to cook, the kitchen is very well stocked with the equipment you would want. Nice assortment of beach items. Our family loved it.

We have been coming to Mission Beach for over 20 years and this condo is by far the best. So much room and space! The owner was kind and responsive. The huge court yard was our fav! Will definitely book ok again!

We chose Kevin's home to get our family together for our 50th wedding anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased with the choice. Kevin was so helpful and the bedrooms and outdoor areas were perfect for our group of 9. You can't beat the location for easy access to the Bay and beach! Would love to return again and highly recommend this home.

We loved our stay at the property. Everything was great. Kevin was so easy to communicate with!

Instead of throwing a party for friends we took our children with spouses and their children to San Diego for a week. We traveled in two mini vans. Watched sunsets from the property and the beaches. Sat at the fire pit and sang each night. We did grill out but mostly we ate from the pizza place 545 yards from the house. It was a memory that was actually better than we thought we would get. Although the young adults had their own domicile they came to be with us each journey and we all slept while they did their nocturnal rites. It was a great way to start the next 50 years.

It couldn’t have been a better place to enjoy the beach… and we are all beach lovers. This place is equipped with just about any sand toys and water toys you will need. Plenty of room for all 9 of us , the fire pit at night was fun and a great place for a nite cap. My only nudge would be to bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in a little in the morning- I had the room with sky lights and was up early! We will be back!

Beautiful property and great place to stay while in Mission Beach.

Great location between bay and beach. All guests commented on the comfort of the beds. The outdoor fit pit was the main gathering spot. We had chefs in our group and they felt the kitchen was well equipped. Parking in garage was key! Nice to have the young adults in separate living quarters.

Family get together to celebrate Mothers Day. It was the perfect place and was very well equipped. The host responded quickly to any of our questions. Conveniently located to visit all of San Diegos attractions. Hope to return someday!

A group of 10 of us came into town for a wedding and Kevin’s house was perfect for our large group. Each couple had their own bathroom, the kitchen was well stocked, and the enclosed backyard with a fire pit was great to hang out in. Truly appreciate all the amenities and would definitely recommend to any group coming in. We were able to walk to most places around and the having the beach 2 blocks away was beautiful.

The house was big and roomy for me and 6 of my sisters and 3 nieces who came in from Arizona and Nebraska to gather for our sister's 60th and nieces 30th birthday. We felt we had great gathering places inside and out plus our own private bedrooms and bathrooms. Really great place to stay!

We had such a great family vacation staying in the Ritzy Beachcomber...the location was perfect...the beaches and Mission Beach area were so fun to explore. We'd love to spend more time in San Diego and would definitely come and stay again!

We had a great time at this property! The owner was amazing. His cleaning crew didn't show up, but he was there cleaning and got everything done quickly; and I helped do some cleaning - he refunded the first day and the cleaning fee because they didn't show up. It's an ideal place. It's so beautiful and fun! The house has everything from kitchen necessities to stuff for the beach - boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, heat lamps for outside, a firepit and a grill. The patio has a long table that can hold many people. The communication was great, the house was spacious and luxurious! The master bath in the first unit was very big and very comfortable. The beach and bay were both walking distance, and so was the restaurants. I recommend both Capri and Sara's Mexican for breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices. Google Maps did have a little trouble with the directions. The best way to go is from Mission Drive, take a left onto Capistrano and then a left (it's a one way street) onto Bayside Lane. Don't get it confused with Bayside Walk. This will take you to the "back" of the house where there is a garage and another parking space beside it. The actual front of the house is on Cohasset which is just a walk, not a road. I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in San Diego.

This is the perfect place for families looking to be able to have a shared space and for everyone to have their own bedrooms and baths. I hate to give away our favorite “secret” find. Pick a direction and you’re near water a short walk away.

Our trip was everything we'd hoped for in a family birthday celebration. Location was wonderful and the property was fabulous. Everything we needed was on site plus more. The hosts were wonderful to work with. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a terrific family vacation.

Excellent property with lots of room to stretch out. Chairs & sand toys for the kids and half a block from the bay beach or 3 blocks from Oceanside. Great for kids & adults alike.

We had a great weekend. Stayed with 9 friends for a long weekend and had a great time. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was easy and he was responsive and helpful the couple of times we needed something. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Mission Beach.
