A good affordable B&B

Everything. It's a traditional-style BnB, well-appointed, comfortable, in a good location, and serving a fantastic breakfast. But most important was the standard of service, which was quite exceptional. The owner happily went above and beyond what one might reasonably expect.

Host wasn’t there on checking in and property left unlocked - I called out 3x and went upstairs but no response- cleaning spray’s left out on desk - waited 25 mins but no show - called Booking.com to inform them but nothing done. Then to add insult to injury the landlady rang me 7 hours later and was very abusive to me and elderly mother even though it was her fault and she had been paid - said I was lying yet- why would I as I had already paid and had to then find alternative accommodation at last minute - avoid at all costs

Excellent B & B. Characterful house, very friendly host

The B&B was very homely and easy to get to. The car park was ok (round the back was a grass area). The owner was extremely helpful when we phoned asking for an early check in. The breakfast was ok, lots of choice which was good and all included. The size of our room was brilliant, very spacious room including tea and coffee area, dressing table area as well as bed, wardrobe and 3 chairs! Overall brilliant B&B and brilliant host.

The bathroom was a little small, especially the shower

Breakfast superb. Hot milk with coffee real treat.

It was perfect.

Great breakfast, friendly staff and homely feeling.
