Staff were really helpful and friendly. Very approachable. Facilities were great, lovely and clean, comfortable too. Would certainly stay again, and thinking of taking my partner with me next time.

To me there was nothing not to like if I had to be picky not enough sugar to make tea in your room but all you have to do is ask nothing is to much for the staff.

The guesthouse is very nice. All the staff were extremely friendly and genuine. I think you can always tell when hotel staff are treated well and I hope I'm right in believing it's reflected in the service! Had a great rapport with them and they are a major part of what I enjoyed about staying here. The room was spotless. I especially liked that they provided oat milk on the coffee tray in the room, I had never seen that before and it is great for lactose sensitive people like me. The bed was comfy and the room was warm.

The only thing is that the toilet facilities are small and were far from the room. I know that I booked for a shared bathroom but it would have been good to know in advance it was one and a half flights of stairs away, it would be a worry for someone with mobility issues who might not be phased by climbing up to the room once a day fully ready, but could struggle at night or when carrying toiletries.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building. Close to public transport and the city centre. There were coffee and tea making facilities in the room and a good coffee machine in reception. The staff were always super friendly and helpful. My single room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was nearby and was always spotless. Having a sink in the room was very helpful.

My only suggestion would be to have hooks on the back of the bathroom and shower doors for hanging one's clothes. Also I found the pillows to be a bit hard.

Blocked gutters meant rain water fell noisily outside all night. There are literally plants growing in the gutters! Shower has mold growing on it. Cobwebs in the corners of the room. Walls very thin. Room quite cramped for £90

It's very very good hotel, very cozy, clean and nice. The staff is very friendly and nice. The location is perfect between the university and the town center, not far away from either of them. In addition, the good price also includes fantastic breakfast.

The only weakness of this hotel is that the toilet and shower room are shared. Except that, I like all.

The double bed was comfortable and Cody. There was lots of hot water for a shower. Both kettle and TV worked very well.

There was a lack of flat surfaces in the bedroom on which to place laptops, handbags, wallets, make/up tourist guides, phones, shopping bags and all the usual guest paraphernalia.

I liked that the hotel was central, clean warm (a little to warm) and comfortable.

When the room got too hot I couldn't turn the heating down.

Booking.com doesn't have the right images of the room I stayed in. I thought I was getting a desk in my room but I didn't have one, so I felt a bit misled. This room desperately needs updating, I noticed some safety hazards.
