Perfect location for a quick weekend in the Fort Lauderdale. Lauderdale at the Beach is a cute little town and this property puts you right within easy walking distance. The unit was clean and the manager was helpful.

Great location for accessing the beach and it’s 10-15 minutes up Commercial Dr to watch InterMiami play. It is right on Ocean Drive, so traffic noise is a thing, but the bedrooms are in the back, so the noise did not disturb sleep.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part at this cottage. The downside was the TV didn't always work and the Youtube app didn't always work either. While the Living room and kitchen were nice the bedrooms needed some updating as far as new sheets and covers. It was a little noisy as well. We had a good overall experience.

Everything from booking to checkout was easy. Excellent contact with owners when needing assistance. The location can’t be beat with the closeness to LBTS! Cozy 2 bedroom, clean. Will definitely stay here again

This place was perfect for us. About three minutes walk from the beach. Great Patio fully furnished and lit at night. TVs EVERYWHERE, including the patio. Be sure to visit the owners Greek restaurant nearby. Grilled octopus, grilled shrimp, calamari, great salads. We ate there three times. Had a wonderful stay.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. So close to the beach and bars/restaurants. All within walking distance. The owner was always available when needed. We had a great time.

The location was awesome - just around the corner from bakeries, restaurants, and ice cream parlors. It was just a few minutes walk to the beach. I definitely recommend.

I was not provided the door code until a few hours before check in for a 3 night stay. The AC is controlled by the owner. You can not adjust the temperature your self. It has been set at 64, so it was pretty chilly. Although my stay was for 4 days and 3 nights, there was only half a roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. I ended up having to buy my own toilet paper. The living room couch was filthy and covered with stains. Although there are televisions in every room, they are not connected to a signal. There was no internet connection to the televisions. I texted the owners about this, and they texted back that they were at work and unable to assist me. After half an hour I was able to set up a connection with the property's wifi. The advertising states that they have Netflix, but the owners refuse to give me the Netflix password. I ended up having to log in with my own Nextflix account, which meant having to change my password when I checked out. The back yard has lawn furniture, but as there are no cushions it is mostly unusable. The property is on a very busy street which is noisy, both from the traffic and the people partying on nearby commercial blvd. The plus is the proximity to commercial and the beach. The minus is that you are inn the middle of the party zone. I should get a partial refund for the lack of any streaming services as advertised and having to buy my own TP

The location is good but on a busy street so a little noisy. Cottages right behind you and the people were loud. The back yard is not fenced as they say, there are some plants around it but far from private. The house has a funky smell that might could be helped if they changed out their air filter that doesn’t look like it’s been changed in a long time. The lock on the sliding glass door is difficult and a little weird. No ceiling fans, looks like they took all the blades off. Couldn’t get the TV volume to work on the patio or living room so could never use them. No kitchen linens such as dish rags or cup towels. Very slow response from owner. For the price, it’s probably a decent deal.

Clean and cute place! Loved the back patio. Owner was very nice, helpful, and quick to respond with any questions I had. Convenient location, close to many shops, restaurants, beach and pier! If we ever come back to Fort Lauderdale, we will book this place again!

We had a nice stay. Reading the prior reviews it was as people said regarding no outdoor cushions and a musty smell. In the same token, there are some hotels even that have a similar smell. I’m a local and know that this is an old florida town so don’t expect new and it’s humid. Anything at this price point will be similar from my experience. The pics made it look bigger than it is. AC was great and kept cool at 72. We had a nice time and it was perfect walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shops. The Wi-Fi did not handle streaming well from the TVs but we were there mainly for the ocean and time together. Denise answered my call right away when we had trouble with the code to get in.

Great location for walking to beach and all shops, bars and restaurants. Can be tricky to pull out of driveway with traffic but hardly need to. We had a problem when we got there with door code but the owner came right over to help us even though it was after midnight.

Close to a lot of restaurants and late night spots. Never had to drive. Easy walk to the beach. Good night scene. Host was very sweet and lovely to talk to. Check out her restaurant on the way to the beach!

Loved the location and the cleanliness of this place. Never had to get in my car to go anywhere. Our interaction with the owner was excellent and she was attentive to anything we needed. We would stay again for so many reasons, but our host was absolutely the BEST!

Read the reviews! Property REEKS of sewage. I booked a week's stay months ago; didn't stay 7 minutes. I walked in, walked into the yard, walked out, and called the host from my vehicle. Her reply was "I have never heard this. We have nothing to talk about." and then she hung up on me and wouldn't answer my calls. I contacted VRBO (and while on hold read reviews of this property mentioning the stench and inability to stay there - which were not available when I booked) and VRBO ultimately said "refunds are at the discretion of the host." My credit card company is now involved. VERY disappointing. Anyone honestly giving this property a positive rating had to have lost their sense of smell from Covid. And all of that was just "added bonus;" my primary concern (and reason I was requesting a refund) was the deception in the listing. This is NOT fenced. This is NOT private. There are scraggly bushes dividing a yard shared by a DUPLEX. I never would have booked this knowing the yard would NOT be private and fenced, as detailed in the last line of the description) since I travel with a pet. Add to it all the front door keypad would not lock. I sat in the driveway over 3.5 hours so as not to leave this property on A1A (a HIGHLY trafficked street) unlocked. Once VRBO contacted her, she replied to my text that she would come lock it. Not in 3.5 hours she didn't. I was fortunate to find and book a hotel to be in town for the business the trip centered around and went to a friend's for a few days instead. APPALLING experience.

Great property just where you want to be. Walk to restaurants, shopping and beach.

The pictures accurately portrayed the updated, well equipped rental. It was clean and the bathroom was nice. The kitchen had all we needed. The location was great - close to the beautiful beach (5 minute walk) and to great restaurant choices. Though it was on a busy street, the bedrooms were in the back, so any traffic noise just reminded me of convenience. Check in was easy. Thermostat was set at 73, warm if the doors were closed to the bedrooms at night, but manageable. So…a 5 star rating to this point, but… two big complaints: the smell and the cushions for the patio furniture. The smell was so strong…maybe musty, mold, sewage?? We went out immediately and bought three candles that we kept burning if we were in the house, which helped mask it minimally. It kept me from sleeping our first night. Every time we walked in, it was very apparent. The second complaint was the absence of the cushions for the sectional patio furniture. My first contact with the landlord gave a response of they were being washed. I get that. For the last night (of three), I asked that she bring them so that we could enjoy the patio after dinner. No response and no cushions. We chose this rental largely because of the outdoor space (cute aside from the missing cushions which made the sectional unusable), so I was quite frustrated. Communication on this point was poor. This my first 3 star rating.

The location made our stay even more perfect! A short walk to the beach and downtown LBTS only a block away. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go!

This charming little cottage was a great weekend getaway for my daughter's 17th birthday! Her friend and her friend's mother accompanied us and we were really pleased with the property. When we arrived, we noticed that it was extremely hot. We tried to adjust the a/c, but it just wasn't coming on. I contacted the property manager and she sent someone to see if they could get it to come one. We learned that the a/c is controlled by an app on her phone. We went through all of the steps and were unable to get it to come on. The property manager sent over a huge fan to help circulate the air. In the meantime, she called her "a/c" guy. He drove up from Miami just to fix it. He arrived around 11:30 that night and fixed it right away! The rest of our stay was wonderful! We were really pleased with the area. The beach was just steps away and there were so many things to see and do right outside of our door! We will definitely be back!

We ended up staying for 5 days with friends the place was nice but we had fees added on after we left for things we did not do and we’re already on the property, there was one night we even helped our neighbors out because there was a stranger out there but communication could be better

Pros - close to the beach and restaurants - accomodates a family of 5 easily -backyard a plus -AC was not an issue as others mentioned Cons -no washer/dryer -NO beach chairs/umbrellas -Not enough beach towels We stayed at this house for 4 nights. We flew from NY and expected the house to have all the items necessary for a beach vacation. When we arrived, there were bath towels available but only one beach towel. Thankfully we brought our own. When I asked the homeowner if there were beach chairs, she said there should be some in the backyard. I found two broken camping chairs. Rather than pay $60 per chair at the nearby souvenir store, I spent two hours driving around to Walmart and Target to purchase five $30 chairs for my family to use as well as an umbrella, a stand and a cooler. $200 later we were finally ready to enjoy our vacation. We also had to leave everything behind as we could not bring these items on the plane. I am hoping the next guests enjoy our gift. This house is on a VERY busy street. You are near all the action which is nice, but it is VERY noisy. The backyard is a nice space, but it is not a quiet place. When I contacted the owner about the lack of beach chairs and suggested that she share the cost with us, she refused to, although she totally agreed that these items should be a part of a beach rental. She actually suggested we should have ordered chairs on Amazon! For obvious reasons, we will never rent this house again. -

This property is perfect. The location is the best part, walking distance to the beach and the best restaurants. Perfect place for a weekend getaway. The property owner was very accommodating with our flights and was easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend.
