Very cute and well maintained. Found everything we needed. Everything was as described. It's in a great location to a lot of restaurants and shops.

This is our second time staying in Mission Beach. The house is walking distance to the ocean. Very quiet location. Very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend.

Well appointed utilities, Tvs in both upstairs bedrooms a plus for those relaxing moments.

The house was perfect for our family of 5, with 3 bathrooms it was a blessing to have our own spaces! The location was great, close enough drive to pretty much everything, quick into San Diego, short drives to La Jolla and Ocean Beach. Easy access to the beach, the market down the street had so much selection and great breakfast options. Belmont Park was a lot of fun, and lit up for Christmas. It truly was a perfect spot! The parking spot was the only issue which we were warned about but it is very tiny, we fit, but barely! Truly a great place to spend the week in the sunshine and away from the snow

Stayed here for a conference and the location was unbeatable. Communication was easy. Would love to stay at again. Very clean place

This home was perfect for our family. It was easy to access and had everything we could possibly want for the beach. We will remember this home for future visits.

First of all this is a clean home with a great location - centered in a quiet neighborhood between the bay and the ocean. A few things to consider... Parking is VERY tight and would be impossible for people with mobility issues. The bedrooms and baths are sufficient, but did not have any shampoo/conditioner. In VRBOs at this price range those have always been nice to have (especially if you fly in with family). The owners ask that you start towels in the laundry when you leave. Kitchen was awkward (galley kitchen with a refrigerator at the deepest end) but well stocked. The neighborhood is very nice. Unfortunately, the patio is steps away from the backyard across the alley so we could hear them talking without much privacy. There is one big glass window that faces the alley, so you have to choose between anyone seeing directly into the living room/kitchen or having very little sunlight in the house (the blinds are privacy blinds, so when they are closed you have no view out). There is a small grocery/deli and a local sports bar just a few steps away. This came in handy because my husband likes to watch sports when he is done with the beach or sightseeing and unfortunately this rental does not have regular TV stations or ESPN, only streaming services. A bit inconvenient since our children are under 21 so they could not join to watch a game without going out of the rental. The owner was very responsive and overall we had a lovely time at Mission Beach.

The property fit our family of 5 comfortably. The location was ideal for morning runs and evening walks along the beach, which we all took advantage of. We were moving our oldest in at USD and the proximity to campus was ideal.

We loved our stay! House is well appointed, clean, quiet and close to everything on Mission. Steps from the Bay and Ocean, 5 minute walk to roller coaster and shops, restaurants. We could not have asked for a better family vacation. Will definitely book again. Also, family owned makes a difference! You can tell how much this home is loved

Our family of 6 adults stayed in this excellent property. It was clean and had more than enough space to accomodate us all. The owner provided everything you need for the beach except sun screen. There are beach umbrellas, several large and nice beach towels, several beach chairs, boogie boards and lots of toys for children to play with in the sand. It is located close (easy walking distance) to both the Mission Bay beach and Pacific Ocean beach. The kitchen has excellent appliances and lots of pots and pans for cooking and dishes, utensils, glasses and mugs for meals. The refrigerator and freezers are large, the washer and driers are excellent Speed Queen brands and the BBQ works great. This is a great place for a family to stay while at Mission Bay.

This house is so well stocked, so clean, and the linens were wonderful. The beach equipment was a nice treat too: towels, chairs, quality boogie boards, sand toys. Thank you!!!!

This was an amazing location! Close to the beach, bay, market, a few local restaurants, and Belmont Park. It was my husband, 2 kids (6 and 4) and my in laws. It was the perfect set up. We stayed in the two rooms upstairs and my in laws stated in the room downstairs. Every room had their own bathroom. Beach towels, toys, etc were provided in the outside storage space. We had a mini van and backed in every time. As specified in the overview it was tight but manageable. We used the grill a few times. It was dirty when we got there but there was a brush to clean it off and only the left two, sometimes 3 burners worked. Nicely decorated. Never really heard the tenant above us. The washer did smell a bit moldy but I think that has to do with the door being shut to the front of it. The only downside was there was no garbage bags, laundry detergent, or dishwasher pods provided. But the market less than a block away had all those items. We would definitely stay again if in the area. As stated earlier the location is prime and house was great overall.

We had a great stay at Mission Beach. This property is in a terrific location. One block from the beach. 9 minute walk to Belmont Park. Really good local food within walking distance. We had a great week!

The location is FANTASTIC! With less than 5 minute walk to the ocean on one side, and another less than 5 minute walk to the bay on the other side. My kids loved the option to have big waves or no waves. Beautiful home and patio area. The kitchen had all the utensils and pans needed. The negative: the clothing washer smelled really bad, like mold. The parking space was too small however we knew this from the listing, but finding close parking was a little difficult in the evenings. Too much decor/Knick knacks all over the limited dresser tops. Lastly, the owners came walking through the patio area while we were outside. They were very nice however it was a bit irritating..if we weren’t there would they have gone in, or looked around a bit more to check up on us? Weird. Overall loved this place!

Current minor issues are that only 1/2 of the grill burners would light and the Kurig coffee maker water reservoir had some mold which we easily cleaned prior to use. Parking is as described with very narrow space on the bay side of the property--long and narrow meaning if you have two vehicles you have to block in one car behind the other, and preferably get out on just one side of the car. A compact car fit but the small SUV (BMW X5) did not. There is parking on the streets but read signs carefully as they rotate parking sides most days of the week and sinage can be confusing if not read carefully...for example Tuesday • (meaning "and") Thursday (NOT Tuesday-Thursday). Overall it was a great stay with thorough and helpful check in instructions. We had a wonderful stay!

Great location in Mission Beach! Lots of a activities for all and a great spot to explore everything the area has to offer!

This is a great house and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. The location is wonderful. One side is the bay and the other the ocean. The bayside has a wonderful park about a mile walk. You can walk the walking paths to and around the bay as well as the ocean. We will definitely stay here again. This house is updated, fresh, and very clean. The owner is great at communicating.

A beautiful property with a great patio, steps to bay, beach and Belmont Park. Unit supplied with everything we needed. Lots of space. Bedroom on 1st floor perfect for my 84 year old mom. We didn’t use the parking spot, just too tight for our Ford Edge. But we were fully aware that it was a small spot. We parked on the street which is fine in winter but would have been a challenge in summer. They installed carpet in the unit above us the last day we were there which was super loud-would have been nice to be notified of that. I rent properties in Mission Beach almost every year and I would rent this again. It’s lovely.

Loved the place--we stayed with my two teen daughters and everyone was happy about the location, the stuff for the beach (chairs, boogie boards, wagon), and the condo itself. It's the perfect place to stay for a beach vacation in the heart of San Diego. We visited the aquarium, Old Town, the beach, Point Loma, tidepools, La Jolla Cove for sea kayaking and nothing was more than 25 min away from the place. Some suggestions for the owners: - Put body wash in every shower--after the beach, it's a necessity with the sunscreen and sand removal. Those tiny bars of soap are not really doing it. - There was one box of kleenex in the whole house. One per bathroom, please. - An upgrade on the toilet paper wouldn't hurt, because the TP you had, did - Master bedroom pillows need more substance (probably replaced) Still would repeat, even with all the above. Thanks for making it a great place to stay.

Place was clean, great location, close to beach. Definitely enjoyed our stay! Parking was not a problem after reading the specifications of the parking spot and renting the right sized vehicle. Plenty of space inside, beautiful space outside (backyard). Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful week at this property. Perfect for our group...great kitchen/dining/family room open-concept for "family" time, with three bedrooms to facilitate privacy for all. Kitchen was fully equipped for making meals at home, with dining options and a small market a quick walk away. Can't beat this location. Beach and bay within steps, but still quiet at night at the house. House was clean and comfortable. Spacious patio too! Would definitely recommend for a group.
